A week later, Story October is back in Chicago at his apartment and is talking on the phone with Ivory, “So I decided it's best to go loud with this, the louder the better. I posted my videos on my YouTube channel, I've got a million hits already and I've been contacted by CNN. If you come forward too, it will add more credibility and make us too public for that doomsday cult to target us. They call themselves Order of the Nocturnium and I know who their leader is.”
Ivory says, “It's already happening, I sent CNN a part of my videos yesterday, they want my full story.”
“You know that book you found and gave to me?” asks Story, “It's a book of ancient incantations and in the back, there is information about more locations where they are likely pursuing more nefarious activities, also, they are trying to create some kind of supernatural monsters or something like that... I'm gonna stop them because I feel compelled to for some reason, are you in?” he asks as he looks at the amulet that Theodore was wearing, the light in his special sight is intense, it's powerful, “Because now I have the tools to do some serious magic.”
There is a moment of silence, then Ivory replies with, “Hell yeah, I'm in and you know Steve is too, he's right here with me.”
As Story talks on the phone, across the street from her apartment, Claire watches with her binoculars. She puts them down and presses 'play' on Story October's new videos on his YouTube channel that she had on pause.

In an old dirty warehouse lit with a dozen braziers, hundreds of men in black robes are gathered around a dais, chanting. On the dais is the Dark Mage in his top-hat and red velvet cloak with an alter in front of him. Behind him, off to the side is a huge, bearded man standing guard.
The Dark Mage speaks to his disciples, “So, the Earth Goddess has a new champion... do not fear, we will persevere over her weak forces, Story October will not stop us. The power of the Forgotten Gods is ultimate, you all will be Kings in the new order of the Cosmos. Nothing can stop us now, soon the Bane of Humanity will rise and make this world suffer, to lay the groundwork for the triumphant return of Forgotten Gods, to rightfully reclaim what was once theirs!” then he looks back at the huge, bearded man.
The huge, bearded man nods his head down in supplication as the Dark Mage approaches him.
The Dark Mage squares off his shoulders to him and places a hand on each of his wide shoulders and speaks to him, saying, “Omegatron, you are my right-hand and the timetable has been pushed up, we must act quickly. I'm putting you personally in charge of the Bane of Humanity project... do not fail me like that incompetent Theodore. Stop at nothing to see it completed!”
“Yes, my master, nothing will stand in our way,” Omegatron replies with a deep gravelly voice and conviction in his cold uncaring eyes.
