Chapter 22
{Chimera} is an adamant rank monster, mostly found in the west region. It has a Lion's head, a Goat's body, and a Serpent as its tail. Its immune to magic attack, and physical attack. It's a ferocious beast, and tough one to subdue.
"Tsk! How did this bastard had such thing!?"
I spoke, as the dust smoke covered the hidden monster, forming a shadow figure of a monster I know I can't defeat off. But rather than running away
".... let us see if it's truly a {Chimera}, then we retreat"
I stated, as I slightly back down
"Fortify me, [Golden Armor]"
I then activated another defensive skill that covered me, and readied myself.
Swossh!
As I awaiting for the smoke to disperse, I then hurriedly dodge as I leap from my left, as a sudden attack then came at me
CRASH!!
"What the!?"
I exclaimed in shock, as the attack that was shoot at me was a long, sticky tongue. The same tongue of that Toad monster I just fought a while ago, but much more powerful, and faster. But it didn't just end there, it then fired 3 [Thunder Sphere] at me
"[Flexilis Scutum]"
I then hurriedly deployed a defensive shield around me, as I landed
Crash! Bang! Crash! Bang!
"Argh!"
As I exclaimed, as the [Thunder Sphere] that was fired at me was pack with punch. Thunderbolts that were ringing like a grim's dead melody, were ripping my shield apart. I then hurriedly dashed to my side, to avoid some of them than to withstand it, while still deploying my defensive shield, as a series of deadly lightning came
ROOOAAARRRR!!!!
"...…that's"
I was flabbergasted to what I just heard, as a loud roared then resounds the forest's vicinity. I then invoked another skill, and boost my shields defense, and my swords might
"Engulfed it, [Aegis]"
"Engulfed it, [Holy]"
I then swung my sword from my right
"Desolate! [Judgment Cross]!"
A strong cross attack, then was released towards the monster's direction
Bang!!
"!!?"
I was greatly shocked, as the attack that I just throw, was blocked by a combination of [Lightning Shield], [Thunder Dome], and a [Boulder Block].
"...….that's….what the hell is that?!"
I asked, as the dust smoke then dispersed, and showcased the monster it hid. It has a head and a body of a {Horned Raven Boar-Bear}, a back legs of a {Four Eyed Horned Toad}, and a {Three Headed-Dragon Scale Serpent} as its tail, which is truly different than the {Chimera} I know of.
"...…this is truly out of my expectation"
I stated. Saying this is unexpected, wouldn't define the situation that I saw before me. It then retracted its tongue that it attacked, and then glared at me, and roared
Growl!!
Kree!!
It then dashed forward using its short Toad legs - [Bash Dash]. Its Serpent tail then opened their mouths, and formed a [Thunder Sphere], while the monster's body glowed in a crimson red - [Frenzy]. I then keep dodging the 3 [Thunder Sphere] that was fired at me, and made a huge jump from the right, to avoid the frontal charge that was directed at me. As I landed, I then swung my sword from my left
"Engulfed it! [Holy]!"
"[Revered Cut]!"
And unleashed 6 consecutive attacks at its right side. But before it could hit it, this monster then leap back, as its serpent tail warned it from the incoming attack. But I didn't stop just there, as I then swung my sword below from my right
"Desolate! [Divine Slash]!"
And unleashed another attack on it. It then deployed a defensive barrier, which is a combination of [Thunder Dome], and [Boulder Block]. The 3 heads of the Serpent then once again opened their mouth, as they charge up a strong breath attack. As I was about to invoke another defensive skill to block its attack, I was then suddenly
Slash!
"Argh!!"
I groaned, as it shot its long tongue at me, while I was letting my guard down, just a second delay after it blocked my previous assault. I then retreated back, as I hold my injured waist with my right hand, as I placed my shield upfront. Thanks to my armor, the damage wasn't grave, neither shallow. And as I gaze back towards the beast in front of me
"Shit!"
"[Iron Wall]!"
Shuuraaagggghhhh!!
I then hurriedly deployed a defensive barrier, but as my reaction was a bit late, I was pushed back, as the 3 headed serpent breath came at me.
Stomp!
As the monster stomp its giant left foot on the ground, it then dashed forward. 3 heads then appeared, and started attacking me from my right, above my left, and below my right, while trying to gnaw me with its giant jaw, and razor edge teeth
Sowsh! Swish! Swoosh!
Snap! Champ! Knag!
Its coordination and control were splendid. I spin and twisted myself to dodge those attacks. As I was about to land, I was then suddenly greeted by its long, sticky tongue.
Swoosh
"Argh!"
I was able to dodge it, and landed a distance away from them
Growl!
Kreeee!!
The monster cried at it stared at me, hunger and anger painted the beast expression
"Haah.... Haah... Haah... So monster like this totally pops out of nowhere ha? And for those bugs to tame one.....interesting... Huff... I will truly make sure to make them cough their organs out!"
I spoke, as blood drip from my forehead
Ptooey!
I then spit out the blood inside my mouth
"[Greater Heal]"
And muttered one of my healing skills.
[Greater Heal] is much advance than a simple healing, as it could compete to a medium, to high quality healing potion.
After that, I then took hold of my sword, and tightly grasp it, while I carried my shield at my left
"Bless me, [Hanianaguma]"
As I muttered my blessing.
[Hanianaguma] is a skill that will greatly boost, not just my power and defense, but also my overall instinct and senses. My sense of touch, sense of smell, sense of hearing, sense of taste, and sense of sight where all going to be boosted.
As my destructive power and fortified defense were all now buff, I then stomp my right foot forward, swung my sword from my left, and did a cross cut
"Engulfed it, [Holy]"
"Desolate! [Holy Saber's Cross]!"
The monster then deployed a barrier to fortified itself, and blocked my attack

My cross cut attack then collided with its barrier
Grrr!!!
The monster groaned, as it getting pushed back. I then unleashed another attack, as not to waste any more time, as its Serpent tail was about to unleashed another strong assault. I move my right foot forward and fortify it, then bend over, and placed my sword behind my shield

Tightly holding my sword, I took my stun and waited. As the dust smoke dispersed, a huge crater hole revealed itself - a huge one that could place a small cabin on it - and the monster at its center, lay

"That took longer than I expected"
I stated, as the monster lay down the ground dead, with deep wounds and scratches all over its body. Diagonal cut at its left waist, a cross cut at its center, and a vertical slit on its chest, with a couple more thrust and cleave. I then looked up and utter
"They should have already finished everything on their end, then all I need to do, is be the grand finale"
I stated, as I turned around, after I procure the monster's body inside the [Storage Ring]
Grumble~
"....I should ask Cecile for a [Milk Berried Pudding] later on"
[Divination] is an intermediate skill of [Holy], whereas [Divine Judgment] is an attack skill that unleashed consecutive slashes, cuts, cleaves, thrust, and slits, like a death sentence to whom it judge.

Remembering that battle, I could only smile and chuckle in amusement, as I gently touch the [Storage Ring] I wore

(During the 1st evening when Isabelle left)
It was already evening when the clocks ting. I was in the [Grand Room] drinking a mild tea, with a bit of sweet cookies as snacks, as I patiently waiting

As the sound of the door, silently being openned

Silent footsteps upon footsteps then came, resounded from the [Covered Entrance] they have entered. I then stood up to the sofa, and placed the tea cup on the table, before I walked towards the front. Just a second pass as I then arrived, murmuring and whispering could be heard.
"Quite the loving evening, isn't it?"
As I stated, the people in front then turned their gaze at me
"... L-Lady Cecile…? H-how come you are-"
"Awoke? That's shouldn't be your concern isn't it? Hmm…..But I supposed you needed to be, especially in this situation"
I spoke as I then halted midway, and looked at them, as all the servants in the mansion stood before me, puzzled, bewildered, and anxious
"...Lady Cecile this is-"
"No need"
I interrupted, as one of the maid spoke
"There's no need for excuses. You betray the person whom trusted you the most, and that's something, I can't dare to avert"
I then gaze at them with cold-calm look
"....so be it"
The Head Butler spoke, as he closed his eyes in acceptance. All the servants then wore a dejected look
".....I truly did hope, that it wouldn't turn to this"
I murmured as I closed my eyes, trying to bury the feelings I have, before gazing at them back
"I told my lady to clean every nook and cranny in the mansion, I suppose I left few in my turns"
Snap
"!!!"

"No-"
"Gah-"
All the maids and manservants, including the Head Butler and Head Haid, hurriedly jumped back
"Hmm...I suppose only some neglected their trainings, such a shame. But I shall congratulate the others, truly"
I spoke, as the one who were hit by the thin wire thread, that suddenly attack them, were slit and cut into pieces. 3 maids were butchered like a Boar they were. Brains chopped, organs cut, their eyeballs were slit, and their body was cut, their maid clothes were also reap and tattered. The others who saw those maids getting cut, coated their expression with fear and shocked
"....Madelle, Lacy…..Cole...."
As the maids gaze at the butchered maids, I also did looked towards the 3, but I then turned my gaze back towards the remaining servants
"I shall give them a proper funeral, no need to worry for such. I am not someone who is cold enough, to let them lay on a dirty floor"
As I stated, my 3 servants then came as they emerge from the shadow. Chill and cold sweat drips down, and shook the servants, as they saw the 3 circling them, except for the two who is calm and composed. I then raised my right hand to halt them. Everyone was puzzled to what I did, but I then muttered
"It's the responsibility to those above to look to those below. As my lady's my lady-in-waiting, the head of all servants, it's my duty to re-educate them" (note: it's not written whether a lady-in-waiting is much higher than all servants, but it seems to me it is)
My 3 servants then bowed and vanished. I then took a weapon from my left sleeve, as a magic circle emerged below my wrist, while I walked towards them. It's a kusarigama, a chain weapon in the east, with a sharp sickle at the other end, and a heavy metal in a shape of a ball at the other. I then spin it at my right, as I gaze towards them
"Now then…..shall we start?"
"....."
Everyone then fixed their gaze at me as I asked them. One by one, they gulp their saliva down, and took their weapons out. A Katana, Wakizashi, Kunai, and so on. Katana, a long weapon made in the east, with a meter long to half, while a wakizashi is a small Katana, and a Kunai is a small size assassination weapon, like a knife in a shape of a diamond, and some small swords and needles.
They then calmed their nerves, and relaxed themselves, as they took a deep breath before they then gaze at me. I could only smile to their determination, their unwavering will, but now isn't the time to feel empathy, nor sympathy towards them, none of those matters. Daring to betray my lady, and shred her trust, they should atone to such grieve sin.
Wind howls, as the cold breeze of a sudden coldness, touch our skins. A steady calmness, and eerie silence befall the mansion floor.
Swoosh
4 of the maids then vanished in instant, and appeared at my side - 2 at each
'They are quick'
In contentment I thought. They then cast loosed 4 needles and Kunais, each aimed at me with great speed and aim. I then spin myself to the left, as I flip up using my right foot to dodge. I then spin my Kusarigama as I spin myself, like I was dancing in the air as my clothe flatter above, and swung my weapon to my right. (note: her head is facing below)
Clang!
As the sound of my weapon being blocked by a manservant, as he swiftly protected the maid behind him. I then spin the other end of the chain with a heavy metal, as I retract the other end which was blocked, and swung the heavy metal end on my left, and targeted the other maid at the right. (note: she's still in mid-air)
Like what happen to my first attack, it was then blocked. 6 Kunai was then fired at me in my back. I then spin the other end with a sickle, while I pull back the other end to block the incoming attack (note: she's retracting her weapon to make the other end longer as it spins)
Clatter! Clatter! Clatter!
As the sound of their Kunais, hitting my weapon. I then landed just a distance from them. I then spin myself to my right, and swung my weapon again, as I use my left foot as my base, and swung my weapon with the momentum, with all my body's strength (note: the one with sickle; she's holding the metal end with her right, while the sickle end with her left as she swung it)
Clang! Clank! Clatter!
As the sound of their weapon, blocking and parrying my attack. I then pulled back my Kusarigama.
"You all have grown, splendidly. It's truly such a shame, that my lady can't see your efforts"
Clang!
"!!"
"Not wasting any time, neither opportunity, I'm glad"
I stated as I blocked, and wrapped my weapon's chain towards the manservant's weapon, as he attacked me at my left, while I used the sickle to block the other servant, who attack me behind my right top – near her neck. Both were greatly, tensely surprised.
I then pulled the wrapped weapon towards my right, as I spin myself from the right, and raised my right foot just a bit up – pointing to his forehead. As I was wearing a heel, I used its point sole, and buried it to the servant's head, as I landed and stood at its forehead. I then walked after I pulled my heel back.
There are 18 servants that my lady have, inside the mansion, 11 maids including the head, and 7 manservants including the Butler. I have already killed 4 of-no, 5 of them
"Cough! Cough!....Guh!....Ahh!!...."
Thud
Now that's 5, as one of the manservants who attacked me, stumble down (note: his was the one who attacked at her right, aiming at her neck)
"…..poison"
"Quick observation"
I muttered, as I smiled towards the maid who spoke. Yes, the servant died from the poison from my sickle, when I slash its left hand, as I spin to kill the other in front.
"I don't need to say what poison it is, am I right? So please do be careful"
I then gaze at them
"So now…."
And smiled
"!!"
Everyone was then surprised, as I disappeared before them. The 4 maids then hurriedly looked towards the center, and took hold 6 Kunais each, as I appeared before them. Their reaction were kind of slow, as my weapon is already about to slit their neck, but rather than avoiding knowing so, they still dared to face it, as they throw their Kunais at me, aiming to silence me before their very death. I smiled as I saw their unbreakable determination, to face death.
3 servants then came at me, as I flipped myself up, avoiding the Kunais and their swift attack (note: head's down). One who is at my back, the other one is at my left waist high, and the other is at my right front. But I already swung my weapon to my right, and thrown 6 Kunais, with 2 each at them.
One of the manservant who is at my back, that holds two small Katana, was sliced in half by my weapon's sickle end, while the other one at my right was slit on his face, both were pierced by my Kunai. The one at my left stumble down, as he was slashed on his neck. His blood plunge, and sprinkled like a broken fountain
"Guh….ahh…..ohhh….gahhh…"
"....."
I then walked towards the straggling servant, as he tried crawling towards one of the maids (note: the one who is cut in half). Pulling his owned self forward, with blood flowed and organs spilled, with his paled face and buttered self.
I then raised him up, as I wrapped my arms on his neck, and chopped back. I then placed him next to the maid who was killed with the other 4, who was still struggling to live, roughly breathing with the remnant of strength she has. Among the 4 maids that I attacked, she was the only one who was able to avoid getting her neck cut. But the length of my weapon still able to slit her neck, gashing it open, letting the blood stream.
He then slowly moved his hand, and holds her trembling hand, carefully wrapping it between each other, and slowly moved his head, and lean his foreheads next to one another. Both then looked at each other, and smiled, before they took their last breath.
"You could have caught me off-guard, you still lack training"
I stated, towards them, as I kneeled down and closed their opened eyes. Yes, they are couples, and I know. I then turned myself and faced the remaining 6 servants, 2 maids, 2 manservants, and the Head Maid and Butler. The 4 servants then bowed at me, as the maids raised their skirts a bit and bowed, while the manservants placed their left hand on their chest, as they did so
"Thank you, Lady Cecile, for everything"
One of them spoke
"Don't be"
I stated, in a weak tone.
Crash
"!?"
I was baffled to what they did, as they crashed a pebble size stone, coated in a crimson red
"...I see"
"Please forgive us"
"I'll make this quick"
"Please do"
The 4 then swiftly dashed towards me. With an intent of a killer who kills, than a servant who serve
Clang!
I then blocked both of the maids who attacked at my side, as I raised my chain up as I step its middle, and used the sickle end to block the other. Their attacks were both powerful and quick. I then jumped up, as I flipped myself
Swish!
The two of the manservants then came, and slashed their Katana at me, aiming at my neck. Each of their hair thread flatters as their Katana swoop. Just a simple mistake on their trajection, they could have killed each other. As I landed, both maids then hasten their movements, as they run towards me, holding a Kunai at each hand, they then vanished.
Clang!
I then blocked the other maid's attack with the sickle below my left, while the other with my chain above my right. I then moved my right index and middle finger, as I pull the string I wrapped around the maid below me (note: this is from her right hand)
"Gah!!"
Clank!
She groaned as her weapon fall. She then looked at me as she tried struggling, trying to get away from my thread, but gives up as her body stood still, and smiled before she took her last breath.
My wire thread is coated with poison and paralysis, to which is why she can't struggle for long, and neither fight back.
After the other maid stumble down, I then pulled the chain back, which cause the other to fall, as I wrapped my weapons chain on her weapon. I then kicked her in the stomach as I raised my knee up, and twist to my right, and swung the sickle end to her throat. The 2 manservant then came and swung their Katanas' at me. I dodge both as I spin myself to my left, and flipped myself up using my right foot
Clatter! Clatter!
As the two then parried my Kasurigama that I swung, and the Kunai I have thrown at them.
"Kahh!! Guh!!
But neither we're able to dodge the thread wire I just released, and wrapped around their neck, which I installed in one of the Kunais I have thrown. Both then stumble down as I pulled the wire thread down, using the Kunai to pin the thread below, choking them, and limiting their movements. I then landed and pierced both of their head with my heels.
Sqwelp! Plork!
"Now"
I then gaze towards the remaining two, as I took my heels point out from one of the manservants head
