Garin pulls out his weapon and charges using Shingen, but Alvis easily dodges. Alvis moves toward Karez, attempting to strike, but Karez barely dodges. Karez tries to land punches on Alvis, but Alvis blocks them all and punches Karez in the stomach, causing him to cough up blood. Alvis then tries to use his power to kill Karez, but Garin, despite his injuries

Garin: I'm still standing.

Alvis: I underestimated you. I didn't expect you'd go this far, Garin Lavalik

Karez and Garin are shocked by Alvis addressing Garin as "Lavalik."

Karez (thinking): Does this mean my dream was a prediction of the future?!

Garin decides not to focus on this now and concentrates on the fight. He uses Shingen to rush at Alvis to strike him, but Alvis dodges. Garin does the unexpected, using Shingen again to charge at Alvis. Alvis barely dodges Garin's attack, but Garin doesn't stop and continues using Shingen until he manages to injure Alvis significantly.
