The rabbit’s mouth opens unnaturally wide, attempting to devour Mary. She doesn’t have enough time to dodge, but Kinto quickly steps in, pulling out a dagger and stabbing the rabbit in its neck.

Kinto: It seems this forest wants us dead.

Leo: Guys, I don’t think the next danger is far off

A giant carrying a massive hammer emerges in front of them.

Leo: Looks like things just got serious.

Alongside the giant, several human-sized monsters appear.

Kinto: They must be his minions.

Mary pulls out her bow and leaps onto one of the trees, Sai activates his ability, Kento draws his daggers, and Leo draws his wooden sword, enveloping it with darkness.

Sai gets injured but heals instantly. He looks back to see that Mary shot him with a healing arrow.

Kento: I need to find a way to inject my poison in this beast. Leo, can you distract it for a bit?

Leo: Of course.

Leo starts distracting the giant.

Kento, to himself: Not yet... Not yet... Now!

Kento lunges at the giant from behind after the giant focuses on Leo and briefly forgets about him, stabbing it three times. Poison starts spreading through the giant's body. Leo jumps onto the giant while it is focused on Kento, who retreats. Leo stabs the giant’s eye and retreats as well.

Kento: It's enraged. Be careful. The poison will take 20 seconds to kill it.

Leo: Don't worry, I have a good idea.

Leo charges at the giant and strikes its legs with the sword, causing it to lose balance and kneel. Leo then jumps and stabs the other eye.

Kento, to himself: Ten seconds left.

Kento rushes to cut the giant’s arm tendons.

Sylan shows them an ID confirming that he is a guard of Limitless Academy.
