I''ve noticed some new developments within these 5 or so days. The maids seem to not mind me escaping as much as they did before, but they're still keeping an eye on me. I can't act too much unless they drop their attention a bit. Mother seems to have left as well as I haven't seen her throughout this time period. Dad has been coming home less and less too. I'm starting to get worried, something seems off about this whole situation. Yet another reason to learn the language faster. I've been picking up words here and there, not enough to understand what they're saying completely, but enough to understand small questions like those about food and such. Hopefully soon enough I'll be able to get ahold of a book, as since I've been allowed to roam. I'm still unable to reach the books, since they're on a shelf and I risk falling and injuring myself grabbing one. So, I've been improving my strength and balance when no ones around. I've figured out that despite this world seeming more advanced than initially thought, they haven't installed cameras to my room so I'm free to do as I please in there when no ones around. So that's been an immense help! On another note, this marks the first month or so since I've arrived. They seem to be planning something big as I can see several decorations and banners surrounding the house, as well as more and more packages building up near my mothers room. And the maids seem to be on higher alert as well being more carefull with me then usual. It's currently about time for food so I have to get back to the crib and wait. Afterwards I believe i'm in good enough shape to get the book that most resembles a dictionary of my original world.

"Where are they? The priest will be here at any moment! Where's the master and mistress?"

"They said they won't be here within the hour and to start without them. They'll be able to make the party however."

"Alright, we'll do as we need to. I'll be sure to find out if we can record the event. Someone needs to go feed the Young Master."

Shouted from the main room "They're here! Is everything ready!?"

Shouted back "Not quite, we're feeding the Young Master!"

"Well hurry up they're here!"

After feeding Alex bottled formula and dressing him completely, the maids rushed out the door after placing him in a high-chair in the main room and leaving Alex to wonder to himself 'What the hell?'.

As the maids rushed out they stood on either sides of the path, heads bowed towards the path as the clergy-person and the knights escorting them followed from behind and stopped in front of Maid 1(Who will now be known as 'Head Maid').

In a deep, rich voice they said "Are the Duke and Duchess here? If so we can start at any moment. Otherwise, we can come back if required."

"No need, they said we can proceed. However, I was wondering if it is at all possible to record the ceremony. I believe they would enjoy it."

"Yes, I believe that would be fine, as long as it doesn't interrupt the ceremony."

"That's great! I promise it will not interrupt at all, we'll set up the camera prior and leave you to do what you need with the Young Master"

The maids begin to enter the hall and prepare the cameras and such, causing Alex to look around curiously and pay attention more to the hustle and bustle of the whole event. As the maids rush about setting them up Alex begins to recognize what they are in full and finally realizes the world isn't as backwards as he once believed. After the clergy finally enter and all the cameras are set up, they take Alex out of the high chair and hand him to the clergy person. They then bring out a ceremonial bassinet to hold him in place before pulling the hood of it over his head enveloping him whole. When the hood of it reached the bottom, it locked into place with a magical glow.

What the hell is this all about? First they dress me and feed me in a rush before leaving me in the high chair for at least 10 minutes before returning and rushing around and setting up cameras all around the room, and then suddenly out of no where, a priestly looking person took me out of my high chair then sat me in here before closing the top and leaving me in! Its not like we're moving-

As soon as that last message was sent the inside of the bassinet lit up in blinding light before growing silent with the gentle breath of Alex as he drifted off into sleep. Gentle whirring sounds sounded from within it causing those around to be struck with anticipation and excitement. After awhile of this the bassinet opened revealing Alex sleeping peacefully inside with his eyes occasionally twitching as if dreaming of something particularly interesting.
