At last, night fell on Neverport. At this time, no one was awake except for Axel.
Axel stood by the fountain when he made his announcement. He approached the Goddess Artemis, kissed the flower she was holding, and said, "Happy hunting." With his eyes closed, Axel relived the fresh memories that he stole from Jay.
From the moment Jay made the decision to flee, he observed from Jay's perspective.
Axel then retraces Jay steps all the way to grassland that was burnt down where he watch the entire fight between him and Ivy.
He then started to use wind magic to soar through the air and fly in Jay's exact same pattern.
He was about to take off for the sanctuary when he heard two individuals below him whistle, "Axel over here." He instantly pans over to Lunar and Ivy who were waving at him.
Without hesitation, Axel dropped to the ground and hurried over to embrace Ivy, saying, "I am glad you returned back to me."
Ivy gave him a shy smile and showed him a prepared passage that read, "I apologize for coming back so late; I wanted to see where they were hiding. I therefore allowed myself to be captured and now know where they are hiding. If you are willing to listen, I have someone who would like to share her experience with you." Axel read to himself.
He turned to face Lunar, who was avoiding his gaze shyly, and said, "Hello, I am Lunar." Grasping her skirt tightly.
"A gearwork, I never imagined that I would find you in this region," Axel said, resting his head on Ivy.
"I would be open to hearing from you tomorrow morning if you know anything about the Lost Brotherhood. For the time being, would you like to remain at our place?" He continued.
Immediately after her eyes brightened, Luna said, "Yes, absolutely."
"Then it is settled, it is best we rest up for a bit," said Axel, grinning as Ivy giggled happily.
Three of them begun heading back to Axel and Ivy home.
They needed to be refreshed what was going to happen tomorrow morning.
(Next day)
Ivy, Lunar, and Axel were walking toward the presence room.
On their way, they attract the attention of some people who have been eyeing Lunar because she is a gearwork, as well as Axel, who has been resting his left hand on Ivy's waist.
Lunar was used to the stares and simply smiled and waved at them, watching as they occasionally waved back.
Axel would ignore their stares because he did not care. The majority of the looks came from women who thought his actions were improper.
To Ivy, everyone else was unimportant because she could only see Axel. However, she has noticed that Lunar has more color than usual since this morning.
When he arrived, Philly and CJ saw him and stepped aside, saying, "Becca is inside." Cj said this while averting his gaze.

Grinning, Axel entered the room and found Becca seated in her throne chair. When she noticed Ivy, she said, "It is nice to see you safe and sound, Ivy. Who is the girl?" Her gaze shifted to Lunar, who gave a salute.
Ivy is seated by Axel, who says, "These two know a little bit about the Lost Brotherhood. Before we do our analysis, let us hear their stories." He said as he approached his chair on the throne.
According to Lunar, the Gearwork were a solitary and tranquil race that mostly resided in runes and ancient cities. Most of the time, they will alter the space to meet their living needs.
A year ago, Pi appeared with a large group of people. While some lost their families as a result of King Kurtis, others were members of the Lost Brotherhood, and many came to seek refuge from the angels.
In order to operate in the cities with the refugees, he reached a deal with the overseer.
To which the overseer made an agreement.
However, there was a structure constructed that came to produce Hax, which the refugees shared. Before they became aware of the negative impact on the human body, nobody was worried.
Some became seriously ill, some went crazy, and some developed extra limbs.
When asked if what he was doing was harmless, Pi simply grinned without answering.
The three distinct race groups—Salamander, Wisp, and Demi-humans—provided them with advantages in the form of magic and physical prowess.
Many were unable to acknowledge that they were slowly dying inside because they were so overcome by the power they were given.
"Thank you," Axel said after listening to Lunar's testimony, "but could you both please grant us some privacy while we decide?"
Lunar leaped to his feet and bowed right away, saying, "Thank you so much. Ivy you gotta show me around." She told Ivy with excitement.
Before leaving, Ivy hurriedly wrote "Okay" in the book with a smile. Ivy blew a kiss to Axel before she left, and he caught it and held it to his heart.
Axel and Becca were by themselves now, so she said, "Okay loverboy, what is your thoughts on this." Becca panned to him and asked.
Axel turned to face her and said, "Well, it is not as simple as it seems. Both sides have valid reasons for their animosity toward one another, but it is clear that they have never brought up the actions they have concealed. King Kurtis made no mention of the houses he must have raided, and Pi never acknowledged killing the Sungalepore residents."
Becca replied, "I mean, if I were them, I would not say anything either," while twirling her hair.
Axel chuckled lightly and said, "That is why we use manipulation techniques when we speak. In an attempt to win sympathy for their acts, they both portray their opponents as unredeemable. To make matters worse, I think both sides are being honest, which makes decision-making more difficult." He remarks.
Becca leaps to her feet and paces. She suddenly realized, "It is you; they are both attempting to get your best interest. King Kurtis returned in a hurry, and Pi passed up the opportunity to fight you. Something about you makes them want to earn your trust."
With a clap of his hands, Axel told her, "I am their main reward if they win. Correct to the end. Although King Kurtis does not express it, I know he wants to use my influence in future battles, but Pi was forthright when he said he wanted me to assist in creating the next iteration of Hax. To them, it like owning the most valuable asset known to man."
After biting her fingers tenderly, Becca answered, "Who should we go with?"
Axel stands up and approaches her, saying, "Follow your instincts and choose the person you think is right. In any case, my sword will follow, and the repercussions will soon become apparent."
Thinking carefully about her choice, Becca paced back and forth while closing her eyes.
After hearing everything and seeing how the two parties interacted, "I decided to side with King Kurtis." She answered Axel.
"Why is that?" asked Axel with a smile.
"Yes, Kurtis may have hurt these people with his actions, but Pi is just making their lives worse by giving them Hax. Kurtis may have a valid reason for his actions, but Pi's justification will never excuse the fact that his actions, which were intended to help them, actually caused them pain. That is my opinion." Becca explained.
After a long period of silence, Axel answered, "I begin writing a letter to King Kurtis. Never forget that your actions will ultimately come back to haunt you."
Becca stood firmly and said, "Yes, I know. I will be prepared to handle any repercussions that may arise for Neverport." She reached out and made a fist with her right hand.
"Same here." He gently taps his right hand with Becca and the two shared a smile.
Neverport will be involved in its first minor conflict
