Chapter61: Enslavement of Iceurn city, part three

As light began to conquer the endless darkness that was swarming through Iceurn city many eyes were opened.

Opened to those around them.

And that takes us to the east edge of the city.

Almost completely unscathed it appeared as though this part of the city was spared...

But for what purpose?

"What a shame it is that we can't just demolish the whole city" a young Rinock boy allowed his frustration to get the better of him, revealing his presence to the citizens.

"Hey he's one of them" a Rinock shouted as he rained ice onto the boy.

"I wasn't even ordered to kill any of you, it won't gain me any praise so tell me why have you forced my hand" the boy waved his meteorite war axe in the air.

"Oh well just die quickly for me at least" the Rinock threw his war axe into the air.

And using the power of the Rinock race he manipulated the meteorite, making the axe fly through the air at unnatural speeds.

Beheading each and every civilian that had surrounded the boy in hopes of exacting their revenge.

Their heads smashing against the once unscathed surface.

"Hopefully this doesn't get in the way for the aftermath of Nayat's gonna scold me, and that's just not the type of attention I want" the boy cried out, sluggishly dropping to his knees.

"Towin is that you?" A young girl gave in to shock, dropping down to her knees.

Seeing this young Rinock girl bow before him caused the boy to stop his whining.

Almost completely switching his mood altogether.

As he now stood up above his sister...

"Oh sister are you not proud of the person I've become" Towin abandoned control of his axe.

The sound of meteorite smashing against its own ringed through both siblings ears.

"Sister?..., why won't you say anything" Towin grew impatient in the waiting of his sister's praise.

"Towin I wish you were dead, you might just be the one person I won't get pleasure from torturing" Serena took control of her brother's axe, forcing it into Towin's chest.

Or at least that's what she intended to do...

"You know sister Nayat taught me better then to just trust family blindly" Towin created a meteorite wall from Saturn's rings.

"Why didn't I just suffocate those play things earlier, I guess Nayat was right I still have so much to learn" Towin threw himself through the wall, smashing into his sister's line of sight.

And soon after Towin's appearance came two towering walls, charging their way towards Serena.

But as Serena left the blade of Towin's war axe wedged in stone and ice, she took control of the charging walls.

Activating her own technique in the process, changing the two walls into thousands of needles.

Manipulating those needles towards Towin, she took a hold of her meteorite sickles.

Darting across the land Serena had no trouble in making her way towards Towin.

After all he had to deal with the two thousand needles shooting into his rock like skin.

But as Serena made her way towards Towin the illuminating light was beginning to fade away.

"Ha oh sister we'll have to kill each other another time, after all neither of us have a way of fighting in the dark" Towin grabbed a hold of the war axe ripping it out of the ground.

And upon that very second Serena sliced the blade of her sickle against Towin's arm carving straight into his joint.

But as Towin assumed, darkness consumed the city once again, blinding them both.

"Sorry about this Serena, but I promise this won't be our final encounter after all Nayat is finally taking all of Saturn for Uzunami" and upon his final word Towin vanished untraceable by the natural senses.
