A pair of hooded robed figures that wore white masks with various patterns inscribed in red on them that had nothing, but eye holes looked as the two women ran out of their courtyard, the wind blowing their robes as they watched from high in the sky.
They looked down from the upper level of Ei'en which was built next to and up the side of a mountain that signified the beginning of the Kuro mountain rage that ran along the entire Kuro empire's eastern coastline. The mountains were rugged and full of jungle, their peaks looked like fingers jutting up and down sharply before rising out of the mist again.
"Is that the one?" One of the voices who spoke with a light feather like yet manly voice that was concealed by the mask he wore. "She doesn't seem like much."
"Oh yes she is the one" said a feminine voice seductively, whose voice was also concealed by the same type of mask. "Oh she is so perfect I can't wait to get my hands on her. It will be glorious." She purred as she looked at the pair running out into the maze-like city streets of Ei'en.

"What is so special about her?" The man said intrigued. He looked down curiously on the young girl running next to the academy master Cui Xinya, skeptical of his partner's claims.
"Even I do not fully know her potential. That is what is so very scary and incredible. The thrill of youthful potential is so exciting don’t you think?" The woman turned away walking back into the mountain forests. Her figure was a small build with a slightly below average height for a woman, but next to the man she looked particularly small as he towered far over her, his shoulder’s width nearly half her body's height. In any place even people considered above average would look small compared to himself.
The hulk of a man was so large one questioned why bother to cover his face with a mask he stuck out in a crowd regardless. “I do understand the thrill of the unknown I suppose, but I simply don’t see it.”
The small masked woman turned to her partner and rolled her eyes. “Why don’t we make a bet then? I bet that within six months the master himself will ask us to bring her in?”
"Hmmph we will see. What is the bet going to be for?" The man grunted, turning and following her back into the mountain's forests.
“Don’t spoil surprises!”
“What! That isn’t how a bet works! I don’t want to do this anymore!”
“You already promised!”
“What NO! I didn’t!”
The two voices bickering faded as they entered the dense mountain forest.
