The girl get inside the luxurious carriage filled with jewel and gold, the cushion was comfy for the girl too as they relaxed inside and we are also being accompany by 10 knight and some archer and mage send by the king personally to protect us from any bandit or monster along the way. The knight captain also introduce herself to the girl.

"Let's me introduce myself. *fake cough* My name is Jin! I will be accompanying you as an knight captain on the behalf of the king! I will be in your care!"

There is a blonde hair girl wearing shiny armor with a mana sword in her waist that look to be in her 20s in front of us. I decided to check her stats with my detect.

*She is quite decent with her skill and level as expected of the king knight !*

Mizi reach out for a handshake as Jin also followed too.

The knight captain girl quickly get back on her horse as she stay in front of the carriage. As the girl stay inside the carriage comfortably and eventually falling asleep by their own, while I can't even fall asleep for some reason as I stare into the wall.

*Why can't I sleep! Do I only sleep at night?*

It was very boring as I have nothing to do, I can't bother the girl either just to play with me. So the second became minutes as the minutes became hour very fast. I was quite bored so I decided check the system shop to see if I can play with something.

I was quite shocked just by reading the notice, I hurriedly look at all the skill available to purchase.

My jaw drop to the ground as I look at the new increased price, I should have known that thing are not going to be easy now. I was thankful that the other item except skill kept the original price or I would be bankrupt just by buying it.

*I should make the girl to take more commission just to be rich again*

I decided to buy the summon skill and some mana crystal to make me level up.

I didn't waste it all so I can use the rest for emergency incase something bad happened here. I began eating the mana crystal on the floor one by one, I didn't miss a single one too as I got them all making me level up by 2 time.

*I felt like that was a bad idea to spent 50% of my gold to mana crystal as I barely felt any change matter of fact, even if I have the Chosen One skill*

I decided to ignore it for now so I can focus on my newly acquired skill that I totally got it by luck.

I decided to test my newly acquired skill immediately when I saw the information. I tried to summon the Spider Queen or the Commander Demon but I was rejected cruelly as they are elite monster that is unable to be summoned by user.

*I guess this skill has it own flaw huh?*

I changed my mind and decided to summon 1 Wolf and 1 Goblin for now. The space inside the carriage was limited so I summon them one by one to avoid being caught or the carriage end up breaking from the weight, and might as well to not scare the girl. I decided to summon the goblin first, so I chant the skill name with the monster name as bright light surrounding a body as the goblin appear from thin air inside the carriage, the goblin look around to find me as it stare into me waiting for my command.

*I should gave it a name first.. Hmm, Ah! Your name now will be Gobi!*

The goblin eye sparkle as it began saluting me like I’m some kind of supreme commander.

*This is awkward, but I have send you back to the list before they find out, Is that okay?*

"Chik! (Yes!)"

*Okay then, Down you go!*

The goblin disappear into thin air as my summoned monster list was updated to 1/10.

*Nice! These will be useful to the girl, plus they will gain experience making them stronger if I let's them level up*

The second one is a wolf where I name him Kiru. His tail began wagging as I gave him a new name.

*He look so cute and act like a proper dog too!*

I have to send him back to the list too as the knight captain will think a monster pass by their security.

"Wouf!"

The wolf has the same reaction as it disappear into thin air as my monster list became 2/10. It best to not fill my list quickly as who know when I will need the spot later on.

I lay down again on the comfy cushion as I stare into the wall until I heard an yell from the knight captain.

"A Monster has been spotted ahead! All knight get into position quickly!"

The girl woke up immediately upon hearing the yell from the knight captain, The girl get out of the carriage to inspect what happening outside.

"Knight Captain Jin!"

The knight captain look back to see the girl sprinting toward their way.

"Mizi!"

The knight captain was surprised to see the girl.

"What are you guy doing here?"

The girl asked something about the yell earlier "Is there something going on?"

"My subordinate spotted a monster charging toward us. They are still confirming what monster it is, You should stay back in the carriage for your own safety."

The knight captain got a call from her subordinate while she is still talking with Mizi.

"Captain! We were able to identify the monster to be an Poison Cobra King!"

"Why is there a Poison Cobra King here! there are supposed to be killed before they evolve, how did this one bypass the knight? Let's me borrow your binocular, I need to see if it real or not!"

The subordinate gave her a binocular as she look inside to see the snake like creature going toward their way. After Jin determine it to be real, she shouted to her subordinate.

"Everyone! Prepare to get into V position, the monster will not be taken down easily!"

"Yes Captain!"

All of her subordinate began to get off their horse as they get into position to prepare for the attack as the Jin command them, while Jin was commanding the girls approaches Jin.

"Captain Jin! We will help you!"

Jin was surprised at the request from the girls.

"No! This monster is way too powerful for you."

"Don't worry! Just believe in us!"

"Alright then"

The captain and the girls walk to the frontline with gear and equipment equipped. While they are waiting for it to get closer range, I decided to use this chance to use detect.

The monster was slithering through the ground toward the knight captain and the girls very fast, the monster open it mouth as it launched forward toward the knight.

"Dodge it quickly!"

The knight jumped from it direction as toxic breath began protruding through it mouth.

"Sssshh~"

"Archer and mage! Launch"

The archer and mage began to shoot enchanted arrow infuse with mana and element as the mage cast some low rank spell toward the big long beast dealing unnoticeable damage as the scales was able to reduce the damage greatly.

*The scales is quite a big problem, even a low rank magic nor infused arrow can't damage it*

Mizi prepared her sword together with the captain while Nina in the back supporting them by buffing them. Mizi and Jin charge toward the cobra together as the cobra was distracted from the barrage of the projectile.

*Swish!*

Both of them slash the cobra body dealing some good damage as purple blood spew out of the sword mark, the cobra was enraged by the sword before it try to bite down Mizi with it venomous fang.

*Dodge the fang!*

Mizi slide from the mouth before it can reach her body, it was a close call as it reaction speed was pretty fast.

"Whew, that was close"

The cobra was enraged as the prey run away from it mouth as it began to spit venomous goo to the ground making the surrounding greenery melt instantly, most people would know that poison is very lethal just by looking at the death sign appearing.

The cobra body also began to grow in purple light as the surrounding area near the snake began to die down, it was clearly the poison aura doing.

*Getting closer to it very dangerous now, I think it time for my new skill to use!*

Mizi was confused as to what I’m referring to as goblin and a wolf appear in front of Mizi catching her off guard.

"Why are there 2 monster here?"

*Ah don't worry, there are my summoned monster so they won't attack anyone unless I told them so*

*Don't worry, my summoned monster essentially copied almost all of my level and some of my skill including Poison resistance, so they should be fine*

The knight captain was shocked to see goblin and a wolf appeared near Mizi.

"Why are there goblin and a wolf here?"

"That is my summoned monster, so you see I was a beast tamer so taming them are easy"

Mizi reach for a head pat on Kiru as he accepted it gratefully with tail wagging nonstop.

"There is no time, let's talk about it later alright?"

"Ah"

I gave some command to Gobi to support Kiru with his bow and arrow from the leftover equipment as I command Kiru to charge forward and target weak point such as the eye or exposed flesh.

The goblin accepted my command as it grab some nearby bow and arrow on the ground, while Kiru charge forward to the poisonous aura as it dealt nothing toward Kiru due to his poison resistance.

Nina also buffed them up with her skill making them stronger and faster, Kiru was able to latch on the sword mark from earlier as the cobra try to knock Kiru off while moving around violently with Gobi taking this chance to shoot it with his bow as the arrow successfully penetrate the scales pretty easily despite Gobi doesn't have any skill related to archery.

The arrow got the cobra attention as it look at the destroyed scales with blood all over while Kiru take this chance to strike it in the eye with his claw making the cobra scream in pain as blood covered it eye making it unable to see it surrounding leading to crashing to some nearby tree, The cobra was stunned from the crash giving the monster a big weak point right now.

*Nina! Cast every skill you have in your disposal to the broken scales immediately!*

"Yes!"

She hold her staff as she chant multiple skill that she have making multiple type of element in the air as Jin and her subordinate look confusingly as they doesn't have to do anything.

"Take this!"

The numerous spell flew to the broken scales as the cobra cries out in pain from the magic thrown at the monster.

"SSSSHHH~~!"

The cobra knowing that he stand no chance against the girl decide to go the coward way by trying to run away as it slither away faster without looking back.

*Mizi! Don't let's it escape!*

Mizi and Kiru chase after the running injured cobra with full speed catching up to it in second as Kiru gnaw on it tail making it vulnerable to Mizi attack as Kiru restrict the monster movement before Mizi slice the neck like some kind of anime fight as blood began to splattered from the head.

"Augh it seriously stink, This is even worse than the spider blood!"

The dead cobra quickly disappeared into dust and drop an mana crystal that is roughly the same size as the spider queen to the ground as Mizi picked it up and put it in the bag and without knowing they both level up by 1 each.

While Mizi was swiping off her sweat Nina and Jin came to Mizi just to check if she okay from the dead cobra.

"Mizi! Are you fine?"

"Yeah, although my clothes smell stinky now but thank god I actually brought another pair of clothes"

"Haha, that good to hear"

After that we got back on the trip as Nina got back inside the carriage without Mizi as she is still stink bad with her clothes until she find somewhere that she can clean it off while Jin and her subordinate stay always from her far away avoiding her smell.

They were able to locate a river as Mizi take a short bath and get back in the carriage shortly after, the trip went off for few more hour before we finally arrive to the entrance of empire finally!

"Mizi! We finally have arrive to the empire"

Jin knocked on the carriage door as the girls came out from the carriage to see in front of them was beautiful view town full with people roaming around happily.

"Wow! So this is the empire huh? It so beautiful!"

"I wonder if they any delicious food here?"

The girls was very fascinated by the surrounding as they looked around the surrounding, while they were fascinated by the surrounding before the knight captain approach the girls.

"I will provide you with some coin, a map and your official id card be sure to keep the id card safe as they are important"

"Alright Jin!"

"Well goodbye then girls! Hope that we will meet again! Good luck"

The knight captain wave goodbye as she get back on her horse and went somewhere with her subordinate.

*Should we go to the king first or do you want to interact with the surrounding?*

Using the map given by Jin they bought a lot of snack and food from the vendor and diner alike with soft creamy bread to chicken and mushroom skewer.

"Mmm! This bread is so creamy and soft! It so delicious!"

"The chicken and mushroom skewer is delicious too! it has a pack of flavor and just the right seasoning!"

Well I could conclude they were very happy with the food from the empire although it making my stomach hungry too, the girls finished up all the food and snack.

"Ah right, the king! we need to meet him right?"

"I think so, let's hurry"

Following the path of the map they arrived at the main castle where the king reside, just looking from the surrounding I already could tell the person who owned this are the richest with the highest security as well! look like we are not planning to steal any time soon.

The girls approaches the bulky guard guarding the gates to the castle.

"Excuse me? Is this where James Valeknight live?"

"Yes it is, do you girls have any business with the king?"

This guard energy that he is protruding already tell me he is very much a dangerous person in every way possible.

"Yes we do, we are summoned by the king. Have a check on our id card"

The girls hand over their id card to the guard as he began to inspect the card with mana, a few minutes passed by as he keep inspecting it until he finally said something.

"Alright then, my appraisal didn't tell me anything wrong with the card. You may now go inside the castle as I will guide you to the king room"

The guard open the castle door gently as it creek open to reveal a shiny hallway fill with statue, gold and anything luxurious or expensive as possible.

"Wow! There so many gold here I wonder how much food I can buy!” Mizi

"Isn't this a magic book that was released by a legendary mage that contain legendary spell?" Nina

The girls eye was clearly fascinated by the amount of expensive stuff and huge amount of gold coin pile up in some treasure chest well without the Guard looking closely at the girl incase they tried to steal anything from the room.

Well after that we reached the red door where the king is inside waiting for us as the guard escort us to the door.

"Your majesty! the girls has arrived, may I have your permission to let's them enter?"

"Let's them in"

The door magically open itself to reveal a figure sitting on a throne in front us, the girls began walking in front of the king and bowed immediately without looking at the king.

"Welcome hero, I am the king of this kingdom. you may call me James Valeknight III "

"I humbly greet your majesty!"

"Ho oh? You girls got some good manner"

I expected the king voice to be very old but it actually sound childish instead.

"Well then, lift your head up there is no need to bow really as I am still the unofficial king"

The girls lifted their head at the order of the king and when I looked at Mizi perspective using my first person perspective the figure sitting on the throne was a young kid that look like to be 13 year old.

*So is this kid is the Majesty?*

"Yes master, the kid in front of me is the king"

"Hey! Who are you calling a kid!"

*Is the king really that young?*

"Yes" Mizi nodded her head.

"Hey! are you even listening to me! I’m not a kid!”

The young king wave his wand in frustration with angry face all over his face.

"Ah sorry my king"

This totally bypass my expectation as I didn't expect the king to be this young.

"I will forgive you this time!"

"Thank you"

Awkward silent swept the room as both of the party stopped talking before the young king break it up.

"I heard from my knight that on your way to the kingdom, you were attacked by an Poison cobra king, so I wanted to give you compensation for the trouble."

"My knight also said that you was the highest contributor in defeating that monster by yourself! I’m impressed"

"Thank you for your compliment"

"So I have a request for you, of course I will pay you handsomely if you completed it"

"Huh?" Mizi was confused as to what the king need her to do.

The king then brought up a map and hand it over to Mizi.

"Recently my knight has been noticing suspicious activity near the Slum district where children has been disappearing each day. We also received multiple request from the distraught parent where their children disappeared seemingly, I suspect there are someone behind all of these kidnapping case so I need you to figure out to what the cause of all of these kidnapping case and of course I will pay you handsomely if you can figure out who is behind this"

The request is kind of risky and dangerous for 2 little girl to wander around and search clue around the slum district.

*Mizi what do you think? will you accept the request?*

"I will accept the request"

"Thank you so much. I will remember this help"

After that James handed us the map filled with information and clue drawn on it and a list of suspect. We said our goodbye to James as the door close behind of us.
