Okay.
I can totally do this… Right?
Focusing on the Boar, I willed my eye to do the purple magic I had used earlier. Thankfully, it activated.
[Target in sight.]
[Critical Eye Skill activated.]
My vision turned slightly purple, and sure enough, another X popped up upon the Boar’s body. This revelation of causing my skill to activate only further pushed my hope of surviving into its grave.
The Critical Mark was right between its eyes.
“The hell is with my luck,” I mumbled to myself, holding the stick up to try and… intimidate the Boar. Looking at its even angrier expression, my doubts that it was working grew quickly.
“Uh? Tutorial? I’m sorry about what I said. Please come back?”
The Boar, in the meantime, began pawing the ground with one tiny little hoof, and by now I knew very well what that meant. I squeaked, lowering down as if that would make me less of a target somehow. Judging from how silent the messages had become, I began to figure that there was no hope.
Suddenly…
[Strong-Armed Boar has activated Skill Bash]

I gawked at the attitude radiating from the screen in front of me, off a transparent screen only I could see. Yet, I held my tongue. I needed it. Badly.
I jumped to the side to avoid two giant tusks swiping indiscriminately, rolling on the ground a few feet before landing on my hands and knees. Hurriedly, I brought the stick up to my face, thinking about ‘wanting to see its info.’ Sure enough —
Ding!
[Eldwood Stick]
[Rank: None]
[Description: Literally just a stick. Though, this stick comes from a 103 year-old Eldwood tree, known to be the sturdiest wood in all of Puria. Tip: you should still check your inventory for a weapon. Idiot.]
Atk: +2
Def: +6
Spd: 2
Dur: 20/22
A long sigh escaped from my lips. ‘I would prefer a system at this point.’ It was clear that the closest I would get to one was what I had with this tutorial.
‘It’ll have to do.’
[Strong-Armed Boar is using Bash.]
The Boar began charging at me, a duller red hue than before covering its tusks as it rose them up to slam them down cruelly on me.
I yelled at the top of my lungs, thinking ‘Inventory’ repeatedly in my head as I reached behind me into empty space. I heard a small ‘ding!’ from behind, much quieter than before. Or maybe, the tusks falling like judgment from the skies were cutting off the rest of my senses. The red hue of the tusks reminded me of how my past life had ended, due to one idiot girl in a fancy car.
My yells filled up with newfound anger as my fingers went from holding air to finding and tightly gripping the handle of something. A message popped up but I immediately swiped it to the corner of my peripheral vision as my sight tunneled in on the X right in front of me. My voice grew hoarse; even though it had only been about two seconds of yelling, I never yelled, and I wasn’t accustomed to my new vocal chords yet. Nevertheless, I emptied my lungs as I twisted my body to the side, the tips of the Boar’s tusks cutting a rough line on both my back and left arm. Ignoring the searing pain that immediately shot up from both areas, I thrust forward with the weapon from my inventory with all the strength I could, plunging it into the Boar’s forehead.
[Critical Mark has been hit. Dmg adjusted to 350%.]
BANG!!
I felt a shattering pressure happen inside the hilt of the weapon I had used as an added force slammed heavily into the large pig’s ugly skull. This time around, the Boar didn’t squeal. The only noise came from its hulking figure slamming into the ground. The angry expression that had seemed normal on its face had twisted into a peaceful look, which looked more unnatural than the one full of rage.
[Strong-Armed Boar (Lv. 4) defeated.]
[Distributing rewards.]
