In a starless, infinite space stood a particular young woman in the middle of it.
Perhaps, she was floating.
Her eyelids closed as if a curtain.
She was unconscious.
Even the surrounding space was utterly dark, it wasn't cold nor dreary like outer space at the same time.
Also, it seemed that the surrounding space went brighter, yet stars around her still ceased, as if no one could appear.
Behind her eyelids, she felt another color showering before her eyes.
It seemed blue, and it was unknown what thing that originated it.
Suddenly, that dark blue space turned into purple as another figure appeared before her.
The girl's figure herself wasn't infamous.
Her purple hair fluttered in the space, and it was neither braided nor tied.
She wore a white dress.
That was Mizuki, and she was inside that place for unknown reasons.
The other man was also famous, and his long and clean blonde hair made him so.
He wore a simple and white robe, that was none other than Merlin that now appeared as a human.Yet, his presence was still tremendous and overwhelming, and still, no one could equalize their presence to him, even the omnipotent gods that were nearest to him.
He momentarily approached the unconscious, floating body of Mizuki.
"...Murasaki."
He spoke that word suddenly.
The sound of his voice wasn't greeting, nor said farewell to her.
It sounds like a gentle voice of a man who showed some new things to his child.
As the surrounding space turned into deeper purple, he continued.
"Violet, now it infinitely encompassed your new life..."
Mizuki suddenly raised her eyelids as if a curtain, yet, she didn't see the figure of Merlin as well as the encompassing space.
At least, she could hear the sliver of Merlin's voice.
From her discernment, she saw some myriads of images that were some mixture of stories, some knowledge that she wasn't ought to know, and other abstractions in the existence that unfolding endlessly before her eyes.
When she instantly stopped by a particular image among them all, she felt different than before, back at the point where she saw those infinite images.
On the other side, a voice resounded through space, and it was Merlin's voice who spoke again,
"You are now in a period of ascension, of course. Get ready for those powers, infinite pieces of knowledge from my countless forms of unfolding abstractions and stories, myriads of things that made up my creations and such--"
He sounded like doing a monologue, but his words still didn't yet reach the end.
"Actually, such beings like you couldn't survive this with ease. At least they felt a side effect as migraines and sorts, yet you aren't like that. You were the special actress, though. You didn't feel anything as those images were given to you--."
From his gentle, humble voice of monologue, it turned that his voice went for Mizuki.
He didn't do anything like a monologue, but she didn't hear his voice at all, nonetheless.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Back on Mizuki's eyes, she momentarily stopped at a particular image among the countless, as she gained her consciousness on the other place, at first, a blinding, white light encompassed before her eyes.
She also felt a different sensation of that place.
As she saw both of her hands, she was surprised. She also heard a voice of a man and woman as they greeted her existence.
Their figure was also there, but they were blurry figures as she tried to comprehend them.
"---You are my precious, little angel."
The woman said in a gentle voice as Mizuki was shocked, and she looked over her hand.
Her hands turned smaller, to the size that of babies.
"--Your name is now Mizuki."
The man said to the woman next to him.
Now, the world around her became clearer, gradually revealed the truth of her surroundings.
Birds sang beautifully in the sky as a rainbow shot before them.
The building around her became visible as the fancy quartz pillars mightily held the small dome above her head.
And then, now her self at the moment was also revealing.
The floor was beautiful as if a bright diamond that as clear as water.
Suddenly, she felt her body flew into the air, yet anyone could deem her position to be nonsense. Her body was lying down as her gaze went upwards to the platinum dome above her. Someone lifted her, held her body as that someone paced around the room.
Now, she realized.
She was now but a baby.
Thereupon, she reached the point where a sea blue crystal orb was prominent on the wall.
Apparently, that scene was inside of another particular sphere held by Merlin.
It was recording those days when she touched the orb, and that mere scene was one of the countless spheres stored inside his cupboard.
Afterward, he spoke,
"Oh, my. Mizuki, daughter of Oberon and Titania, was born in this world given the specialty to control primordial magics, the force of fairies, and even that Purple Serpent, Murasaki. Alas, that couple was too busy, so she decided to live lonely with gloom and despair--"
"But, rest assured. There's no end for you, though. As expected of a half-fairy witch, you could survive this harsh fate, and you reach this point where you can write that of your own storybook.
"The fate accompanied you here and now, time to remake it. By my name, wings shall flutter in the sky, curtains must rise, and now heed my call of ascension!"
He said with a gentle voice, at first. Then, he raised his voice as his chant ended.
Back to Mizuki, as her baby hands touched that magical blue orb on the wall, she suddenly transported to another place,
Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation.
In her eyes, a beach unfolded infinite to the horizon, with a sun that bathed in the saltwater.
On that place, she felt and heard a song of the twilight, chirps of the evening bird, supported with sea waves that hit the boulder relentlessly, and the dusk breeze blew that of a recorder.
Yet, she just merely felt it. She didn't feel any connection to the surroundings, so she just paced around, didn't know where to stop.
--Until she reached a particular point.
She saw a figure who stood beside another boulder.
The figure covered in a red spiritual robe with a hood that covered the head didn't know who was inside.
But, from the stature, she could tell if that was a young woman like her.
As she paced closer, suddenly, she felt the aura that was the same and alike with her.
She walked to her front, and without her knowing nor seeing--it turned out unexpected, she was the figure of herself from the past.
Under that red hood with some golden parts around, it was her braided purple hair, with a transparent veil that covered her face.
"W-what?"
She asked in exasperation, mingled with surprise. Her eyebrows furrowed as her mouth gawked open for a while. And, those described how confused she was.
'What was she doing?' and 'What was she waiting for?' were the exact ways to express how were her feelings upon she saw herself on that twilight beach.
She couldn't feel anything in that place, not even the wind nor the water; yet, she gradually understood what was inside her heart at the moment, even if it seemed unfamiliar to her as she never saw it in the first place.
From the sleeve of the red robe, her hand stretched outside as it waved once. Mizuki got more confused as she saw that.
But she won't overthink about it. Her past self seemed so focus even she ignored the beautiful song of twilight. And,
"Eh?"
A happen made her finally understand.
A creature suddenly rose from the sea, gave an impression of a leviathan or a sea monster.
Furthermore, it was dark purple in color, with eight tails and eight heads that were tremendously massive.
It roared, and next, it shot a purple beam that destroyed dozens of neighboring islands.
Mizuki's past self momentarily made some myriads of magic circles in order to hold back that creature.
And the original Mizuki,
"Is that.....Murasaki that he told me before?"
She asked dumbfoundedly.
The shot of that purple beam went to Mizuki as it was unavoidable, and she eventually dissipated because of that beam.
As she couldn't see that twilight beach, now everything on her vision went black as if nothing was there in the first place.
But again, after she waited for a moment, she eventually heard the voice of Merlin.
"You're approaching the last step, so are you ready?"
"--Yes!"
Mizuki daydreamed for a moment, and then, she suddenly answered him as if nothing happened to her.
"Are you sure? After this, you will get closer to Omniscience. You'll eventually become one of us, of course."
Merlin sensed something not okay about her, so he encouraged her again to wipe out her concern about her problems.
"Yes!"
Mizuki said enthusiastically.
As she was ready for the final test, she closed her eyelids again in that nothingness.
Afterward, slowly but sure, some images of her past lives overlapped again before her eyes.
She still felt alive of those images, yet,
"Evil! Demon spawn! Monster! Witch must die! Inhuman like you mustn't live!..."
She felt shocked upon she heard those words, as she saw a purple-haired child showered by myriads of stones from people.
She didn't seem to care of badmouthing, but as she saw the girl, she felt she was pathetic back then.
Moreover, it was only one among the countless images of suffering which overlapped more intense before her eyes.
As those images overlapped, she felt more pathetic and shocked, as if she was on the verge of her death.
But suddenly, as she stopped on a particular image,
No, it was more like a scene of a familiar man.
His hair covered his eye, and he clasped a weird-looking staff.
That was Endou.
"...Move! People like you shouldn't harass an innocent girl!"
"Hah! Shut up! You're on my way!"
"Oh? Then--"
Suddenly, those particular people dissipated. On Endou's hand, a sphere object appeared as Endou spoke to them.
"Try to chase me, otherwise you'll be lost."
"Forget it."
He spoke again.
That sphere object suddenly faded as Endou's hand clenched, back to its normal position.
Immediately, his gaze went to Mizuki's teenage figure, and,
"Take my hand."
"Eh? But why are you helping me? Also, you heard 'em, right?"
Mizuki replied.
"Yes?"
"They told me I should die because I'm inhuman."
"No. That isn't right at all. That isn't your fault."
Endou replied with a gentle voice.
He continued.
"No matter what you are, you are amazing. After all, people thinking the irrelevant. Just ignore that, understand?"
As Endou spoke humbly to her, tears started overflowing from Mizuki's eyes, and, the other Mizuki who felt Endou's kindness,
"..."
She didn't say a word, yet her expression hinted at her feelings to him. Her eyes brimmed with tears, but she hadn't cry yet.
And finally, Endou asked her,
"Then, do you want to be my friend?"
Endou asked as he offered his hand to the other Mizuki.
"Yes!"
She said without hesitation, as she smiled happily even though her face was covered in dirt. She stretched her hand as it eventually clasped Endou's hands.
The feeling of that day strengthened her heart to go forward, no matter how many obstacles that she overcame, as long as that gentle smile of him embedded in her mind,
"Ah, I see you have your feelings towards him."
Merlin ended his speech as if he finished reading a night storybook for a child.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Inside a particular world stood some myriads of buildings that each had a height that surpassed the sky.
Among those countless buildings, there stood the most prominent and the highest among them all.
The peak of that sheerest building was a pointer that seemed made out of gold, and below it stood many golden pillars that held the tremendous weight of it.
Those pillars encircled an extravagant chair made out of the mixture of gold, lazuli, and Redstone as some obsidian parts supported that of the mighty chair in the middle.
On it sat a man that appeared in his 30s-40s, yet he was so muscular.
However,
From his appearance, anyone could tell what was with that very inhuman, terrifying appeareance.
Even the atmosphere and sheer buildings around him bent to his mere essence, overwhelm them in all aspects and conditions.
That was the Demon King Azazel himself, who had long crimson hair that overwhelmed his very head and long, pointed ears as it went until his back.
That crimson hair even covered his right eye.
His muscular body seemed gigantic as though no one could not beat his barely three meters of height.
His arms size was massive and covered with dark steel from the deepest part of hell.
That moment, he didn't wear anything, so it exposed the very muscle of his chest, with a particular mark inscribed on its center.
The rest of him was covered by the shadow of his room. It even made his face and the inscription on his chest unclear.
Despite his overwhelming presence, he actually did nothing but play a card game on his dark, round table as he chirped that of a bird.
Sometimes, he also counted that card or did the ilk as he played the game,
".....two.....ace! As expected of the Demon King..."
He said with a voice that barely whispered,
Suddenly, he heard the sound of a man running and knocked on the door opposite The Demon King hardly,
"Tch. Asmodeus. What? Just enter my room quickly."
Azazel said as he clicked his tongue, irritated by his subordinates' acts.
In fact, they never felt such things as fear even once, but this time,
Azazel suddenly stopped the card game he played as a particular man in a full brown hell steel armor broke through the giant, intricate design door.
It was the man that the Demon King called Asmodeus, and it seemed it was unusual for him to be like that,
"Gah! Ah--Ah--"
He panted frantically in front of the Demon King at first.
Then, he continued without being asked by him.
"My Lord! If I could do the sealing back then--"
"Aaargh!"
Suddenly, Asmodeus lifted up to the air as if something grabbed his neck from behind.
A blue magic circle emerged, spun intensely as a figure appeared from it,
"What's up, old man!"
That figure was nothing infamous, as he put a cheerful smile on his face.
That was Dandelion, now he wore a top hat and a dark coat, as his hair was short and braided to his left shoulder.
His right hand waved at Azazel as his left hand held the neck of Asmodeus.
"Oh, you? The Third? So it was you, after all."
The demon king said as he gave a bloodshot gaze at Dandelion.
"..."
Asmodeus couldn't say anything but, at the same time, he struggled to tell him information, yet,
"Not at all! I am not alone. There are still several people behind..."
Dandelion said as his thumb pointed at the door behind him.
Behind him were some people who also nothing infamous. From their voice and aura, anyone could tell who they actually were.
"Ah, it's tiring!" said a girl.
"But well, it is nice, though. To visit someone behind your comprehension..." another girl replied to her with a happy tone.
"Now, now. Stop starting a commotion." The girl sounded that of a wise child who wanted to end the fight between the others.
They haven't made their appearance yet before Dandelion and Azazel, and the aura felt like a blacksmith girl and two witches with the element of void and wave mingled with each other as if a group of kids walked together home.
"Ah, Rea, Nami, and Myu. Now they are in a good mood."
Dandelion said happily.
At the same time, it was strange.
Why were they alive? Why were they happy?
Something must be happening between them.
