Chapter 1

The moon shone the large field. A man walked under its shiny light, looking at the beautiful face of the starry night. He had light grey hair that almost white, dark purple eyes, and pale skin. That time, he wore a jet black overcoat, also a grey sweater with his jet black long-sleeved t-shirt under it. Undoubtedly, that was Ruel, the fearsome crime lord. Behind him, a pair of mausoleum’s big door that had fancy men-in-war carvings has opened by a young woman. She's Rea, the head maid and head secretary of Crimmortal that was proved to be experts in making armor-type Diregears. She had blonde hair with braided bangs, light skin, and brown eyes. Also, she wore a classic french maid outfit and a big gauntlet made of gold and obsidian on her left hand. Her right hand was holding a golden great hammer. She talked to Ruel at the moment.

"Can't sleep, huh?"

"No. Even I cannot be exhausted, So what's the point of resting? I'm here because I am very bored."

He laughed a bit as his face drew a calm smile.

Rea walked to Ruel while Ruel was sitting on the wooden bench. She stopped and stood on his right.

"Um....Master, sorry to interrupt, but it seems fire starts again out there. So, should we send Harley out? I think it's the best way. I couldn't think more."

"Tch. Filthy Angels. They should get lost. No, we cannot just send him to the battlefield. It will result in a bad outcome. It's better when the three of us go to the battlefield, but we'll be the third party. It's too risky if we join the battlefield. Just believe me, we will get a good outcome if we stick only to rules."

"Okay, but before we go, I want to ask you something."

"Oh yes, I forgot to tell you. That is Schwarz, a club that said they hunt demons. Even though those demons are not all evil, they hunt all of them. And they call themselves angels and the supreme representatives. Lies. Since one of its' leaders is The Fallen, the organization went worse. Well, I think he is no big deal for now."

"And you are right, send him there. After all, to him, there's no more family than demons. So, he can assist them, as long as he is someone else, in order not to ruin his name."

"Alright, It's settled then." Ruel grinned calmly.

Suddenly, under the tree in front of them, a younger man leaned under it and he moved a lollipop up and down with his mouth. That man was clad in dark coat, with a mere t-shirt beneath. He stepped away from the tree and took the lollipop from his mouth.

...From his very look, he was a human.

But anyone will doubt if it was said so.

He was Harley, the Crown Prince of Azazel, also currently serving as that Organization's lesser boss. His hair, longish and as gray as the stone, likewise his very keen eyes.

...Apparently, it brought back some memories when he told him to continue to cherish him.

He heard all from the start.

"Eh...Since when-" Rea shocked immediately.

He still put his blank expression on the face.

"Fine. I heard all."

Without a second thought, he threw his candy from his hand, and at the moment it reached in front of Ruel's head, suddenly it changed form into a fiery bronze key. The ground below the key also emitted a fiery aura. After that, the surroundings were starting to burn. Then, a keyhole appeared at the time while the key dropped on the ground. Soon, it formed a magic circle. While it was on process, Harley covered his right eye with his hair, and he reddened his eyes. After it opened the keyhole, appeared a lion-faced mask. And then, he put his black mask on his face. He vanished into thin air, as well as others after that.

They arrived at vast but barren land of sandstone as if the time was not moving, even a bit. Dust and Sand flew away in front of their sight, so that made their vision not clear. Despite that, all of it didn't matter to them. They perceive everything there as if it is normal. Then, Harley cast his high-demonic magic again. He waved his hand, and at that moment, on their feet, the ground shook and quivered scarcely. Soon, countless golems as tall as several kilometers appeared from the ground and raised to the sky. However, the party still could casually stand, or even lean or sit casually on one of them. After that, on the right side of them appeared a green-haired young man in a grey waistcoat and white shirt under it. He seemed to be one of the party. But just after that, he went back to the battlefield.

On the other side of the battlefield, some people moved very quickly by flying close to the ground.

But, it wasn't a human in terms of speed--even it was unrecognizable and unseen from their very eyes.

Both were moving in speed said at least a half percent of the light itself, believe it or not.

The teenage girl to the left is Reine, clad in jet black cloak, therefore unseen what was underneath.

Her hair, beautiful red as a rose and blood, fancy with braids and a high bun.

Her hands were holding a rifle that had very impressive firepower.

Also, that has been rumor--no, it has came into proof to have infinite bullets, which each had a high-destructive power.

To her right was Marquis. He had sunset orange hair, light skin, also tall and masculine body. On his neck, there was a scar-shaped tattoo. Also, he wore a black leather jacket, and on his back there lies his 2 pairs of black wings. Unlike Reine, he didn't bring anything to the battlefield, thus he beat his enemies with barehand. Although, he managed to obliterate multiple of them in one blow before time advanced. Back to the situation, they were talking about some stuff of things.

"Seriously, nobody's here? Geez, this is gradually boring."

"Be patient, will you? Well, soon you will meet them."

Suddenly, several demons ambushed them in dozens. Reputedly, one of those creatures had destroyed multiple amounts of Multiverses. Even, the demons could survive even a disaster that obliterated all multiverses. Despite that, Marquis casually held onto their heads at very ease as one after another leaped towards him. Well, that’s because he perceived them as something that was moving stiffly.

"Booooring," said him while the demon on his hands exploded one by one.

Also, Reine obliterated all of them just by using her fists.

Her speed slightly changed.

And her eyes discern only darkness.

Continuation of the darkness

Right above her head, about just several meters there could be seen some raining arrows which about to freeze.

Those seemed burning, but it wasn't searing at all. Those were merely decorations of this reality

Those weren't attacks--those were the light itself that Reine discerned as some falling arrows that were about to freeze.

Thus, as she obliterated those creatures, monsters, she was faster than light--even she saw it as something that barely froze, as well as those creatures.

Reine sighed calmly.

"Just this, huh?" asked Reine

Marquise ignored her. And then, both of their expression went blank after that.

After a silent moment for quite a long time, Marquis got an idea out of nowhere. He thought of something, then spit it all to Reine.

"Reine-san, you go there. I will go up there, to the damn mountains."

"Uhm...Fine." uttered Reine.

Then, both of them disparted to their each specified zones. As Marquise said before, he flew higher to the right, and Reine continued flying close to the ground.

A few seconds later--no it was a mere split second, Reine got a fatal blow out of the blue. There flown a single man clad in a black waistcoat and white shirt.

And he was none other than The Mysterious Man. Without gave Reine a single time, he changed the air around there into many bottles of Molotov. David perceived Reine didn't move a finger a bit but actually, she moved--even thousands trillions of times faster than her speed when she beat those creatures back then.

...But still, her speed could not reach him by now.

His speed was infinitely faster than her, at this rate he could travel anywhere whatsoever.

Thanks to that, she got bombarded. Then, David thought that Reine was killed by his relentless thunderclap attacks as if he pushed her from a ladder and then dropping the ladder she had climbed.

He sighed hard.

"Better luck next time," he muttered

Without hesitation, he left that place immediately. It seemed that he didn't want to stay there for a long time. While he was flying, his back has beaten by a shotgun. Thanks to it, he fell off to the ground. Thereupon he tried to get up, but the gun's front sight was just an inch away ahead of him.

"Give up, won't you?" asked Reine in an arrogant tone.

David's face turned into a not-good expression. He bit his lips.

".....Impossible......How......"

She said that she managed to survive that lightning-strike attacks. Well, before she met David, she saved her runes which gave her luck. Because those runes needed a conviction from the user to activate its' power, she convicted that those runes will give her fortune in a cornered-cat condition. Thus, while David attacked her, it turned on and granted her luck, it teleported her on his blind spot at once. She immediately ran after him and struck him up.

"...And that's how I got your shitty face."

David grits. He seemed to be high-tempered upon heard those things, but in fact, he wasn't that angry.

"Tch."

"Shut it, you bitch!"

"...Damn it..." he muttered.

David took a deep breath.

"This isn't ended yet."

"Eh?" Reine was shocked

"I told you this is not the end." He said as he showed his new grin to her

In David's point of view, while Reine pointed her gun before David, he saw Reine gawking. But the truth, Reine drove her mocking sentences to David's ears. Because that seemed to be funny, he smiled a bit, afterward he took a deep inhale, ignored her instead. And suddenly, the environment which he perceived became so. David viewed her as if she was a statue pointing a gun at his face so, David already thought of many movements that could counter her. He made his mouth opened, and a sunset orange light brightened his throat. It caused flames to came out from his mouth. With his same speed as before, he directly sliced off her body until everything are separated and no longer in shape with his silverware.

"Too slow!" said him as he was a bit laughing.

Afterward, he ran to several meters before her eyes and threw many knives and forks at her. And those knives exploded at her.

Back at Reine's point of view, she knocked back furtherly. Due to David’s relentless attacks, she was cooked, her limbs were separated and they were not in its state.

At the same moment when they fell apart, he walked casually before it. But, Reine went back to normal, even though that body received damage more than fatal.

"Tch!"

After that, he prepared a stance and revealed his butterfly knife. The handle had a menacing jet black color, and the blade has silver, clear as if it's water and sparkling until it didn't show its shape. Sadly, it's capability was still unknown.

He ran through Reine to strike a final blow to her. Not even touching her body, he stopped his movement abruptly. At that moment, he heard a loud and deep voice that resonated in his mind, as if it was stopping his movement instantly.

"...That's all..."

"...Return..." that deep manly voice heard again after some moments of silence in his mind.

"Fuhhhh" David let out a hard sigh.

He put his butterfly knife back in his left pocket.

"Alright, that's all. You are impressively strong, though you were not going serious this time. Meetcha later okay?"

Dust that overwhelmed the environment now faded, and there lies a twilight sun on the edge of the lands that gave its beautiful color to them. And David suddenly dissolved with the sunlight, left her alone.

After that, Reine muttered few words.

"What's with that guy?"

In another place, Marcus flew higher while he looked up, down, right, and left.

"Hm"

Suddenly, bulky clouds before him made space, and it made those countless mountainous golems visible before his sight.

"...Find the core...Find the core..." His mind whispered to him.

With his mind found the core, his right eye enlarged and formed into a circle. His iris turned red, and the retina turned black.

"Ah, there you are."

Marquis put his scheming grin.
