Where is this place? Why is there only darkness? Why am I here? How did I even get here? Who am I? Right, my name is Robert Brown, I am fourteen and an otaku. Now that, that's answered, where am I?
It appears to be an empty space, but all I see is darkness so I can't really tell. What last happened to me? .........Oh right, that bastard shot me, but that brings up a new question, am I alive or dead?
Before I could figure out if I was alive or dead a disembodied voice spoke out to me.
"Hello, Robert."
"Who are you, where is this and how did I get here."
The disembodied voice said, "Well, that's kind of difficult to answer. Some people call me the everything and other people call me the universe, but I am usually referred to as god."
"Oh, so I suppose I'm getting reincarnated, like in all the light novels and manga I've read," I said sarcastically but to my surprise god replied with, "Yes, how perceptive of you."
"What else are you going to do to me besides reincarnation, unless that's all you're going to do?"
"Well, actually like some stories of your former world, I'm actually just doing this for entertainment. But, I will give you a special power. The power I will give you will be........Destruction and Creation.
Now before you ask, I will refer to these two as Crestruction when together, using my amazing naming sense. Anyway, your power, Crestruction, is quite weak but it can increase in power if you train. Now let
me explain what it does. The Destruction part of your ability allows you to deconstruct an object or thing and learn about one-ten thousandth of the information about it. If it is a living creature you will
also gain one-millionth of it's strength. I know that you're thinking this is too nerfed but remember it can increase in power if you train. The Creation part of your ability allows you to basically make whatever you can think of, even life."
I wanted to more about the creating life part but of course he used his powers to seal my ability to speak temporarily.
"You can't create life yet and you also can't create large/detailed stuff yet because you are still too weak. And, the last thing I will tell you about your ability is that it is controlled by your will. Your will, will increase as your souls power increases, which will also increase your mana naturally. You can increase your souls power by gaining knowledge, training and aging."
So, you just gave me a power that will basically make me a god quickly, right? This sounds good to me.
"Now, I will explain about your new world. This world is different from your own because instead of science, this world has magic. Magic is fueled by mana which is in everything, even your new body, so you can use magic, too.
This world is ten times larger than your previous world and it has three continents and many islands. Sadly, this world has few kingdoms and they're all small, and it is mostly ruled by tribes. In the kingdoms, there is a ranking system for just about everything from Adventurers, Warriors, Magi and Information Brokers to minerals, food and medicine. Lastly, before we run out of time, the intelligent races of this world are humans, elves, dwarves, demons, fish people and beast(wo)men. That's all I am telling you because we're running out of time before your new body is born, so, good luck."
A few moments after the last thing god said, I saw a bright light before I opened my eyes.
When I opened my eyes I saw two people who I assumed were my mother and father. My mother was a beautiful, human woman who had dark, brown hair and bright, blue eyes, but my father was a not very attractive rough-looking, beastman with jet-black hair and ears.

"Fedl, ulm se klein!" (Look, it's a boy!)
"Nacht daet hruo aswe get haecht fulm!" (He has black hair just like you!)
They speak a different language, but since I am a baby it will be easy to learn with my sponge-like brain. Before I could look around my birth room, I fell asleep.
When I woke up, I found myself in a crib. I was confused as to how I got here before I remembered that I fell asleep soon after I was born. I looked around to see what was in this room, but I couldn't see anything, as I soon realized that there were not any light sources. Right when I was starting to think about my current situation, my stomach growled fiercely. I thought for a few moments on how to get someone's attention before I realized, I'm a baby, all I have to do is make noise, so I started to cry.
After about a minute my Mom came in to see what was wrong. I didn't smell bad, so I think see figured out that I was getting hungry because she picked me up and started breast feeding me. After about one minute of breast feeding, I was full and started to drift back off into sleep...
When I woke back up, I smelled something horrible. I figured out what the source of it was and used my sure-fire method of getting rid of it, I started to cry. When my Dad came in, he looked like he was about to pass out probably because beast(wo)men have a heightened sense of smell so it must have been horrible. What surprised me the most was that he cleaned up my mess, instead of running out the door.
Later in the day, my Mom came in and breast fed me, before bringing me out of the room for the first time. I didn't see much because all she did was bring me down to the bathroom and wash me off. After this, she just brought me straight back to my room.
On the fifth day of my new life, I met my older sister, Selene, who is five years older than me and she has our Dad's black hair and our Mom's blue eyes. I didn't meet her until five days after I was born because she was taking the magus test. Because she got high marks on the magus test, she started studying soon after she got home, to help prepare her for a magus school.
My schedule for the next five months was basically the same as the first few days. The reason my schedule changed after five months was because I started crawling around that time so I could more freely explore my room. Around that time was also when I began learning the language because with my ability to crawl I could listen to conversations by crawling into listening distance.
After I became able to crawl, I learned that the rooms downstairs are the kitchen, storage room, dining room and bathroom. The kitchen wasn't very big nor little, it had a wood stove in it for cooking, a counter for preparing the food and some cupboards that stored the seasonings. The storage room contained most if not all of our food but we kept the plates and cups on a shelf in the dining room. Lastly, the bathroom, basically just a room with a giant washbasin full of water.
Let me tell you something, I hate spiders. I'm not afraid of them I just dislike them for some reason. Anyway, about eight months after I was born I woke up to find a spider on my face. It didn't end very well because my Mom just so happened to walk in before I could get it off and started freaking out. She ran over to me and brushed the spider off before killing it with a swift stomp to its everything.
Finally, when I was about eleven months old I was able to speak the language fluently, but I kept this a secret because normally babies don't start speaking until they're about one and a half years old. I was also able to read a few words at this point, but not a lot because I didn't have access to any books because I wasn't even one yet.
