Chapter 1: Unnatural Birth

In a hospital ward, a baby was born. The baby was silent, there was no sound of crying. The doctor who was in charge even had a fright thinking a dead baby was born, but gave up that idea when the heart was checked.

When the mother got a clear look at the baby, his eyes were looking around the room and he was sucking his thumb, looking very calm. He had clear eyes that looked like it could hold the universe. Basically his eyes looked like a mini universe. However, those eyes weren’t visible to the normal eyes, as only those who were not normal are able to see it. Normal people will only see golden bright eyes.

When the baby was brought away to be cared for, the mother of the baby, was currently confused. She, Ming Hong, was not an ordinary woman, she was a supernatural being, an Esper.

Her husband was an S+ ranked Esper, while she was an A+ ranked Esper. They had met under different circumstance, and fate brought them together, but so did their enemy, the government.

Usually, an Esper’s birth was not so normal, not so calm, neither was it good. It was always chaotic, and it was not her first time giving birth, so she knew how troubling it was.

When she gave birth to her first child, things kept disappearing and reappearing in different locations, meaning the child was able to teleport. Her second child, when born, a huge meteor fell down on a remote, secluded field, and good thing it was far away, even though the people who were a hundred miles away were able to see the explosion, otherwise there might have been casualties, major casualties.

The second child was able to call forth meteors. When her twins were born, the room constantly kept going bright and dark, as if a sun and moon were battling each other. The twins had light and dark powers.

This time, she was expecting something to happen as always, but this time, however, was too quiet. The baby didn’t even cry, it was too silent, not moving at all. She might have thought the baby was disabled if she didn’t know the baby was her child, who had Esper blood flowing in him.

However, unlike how it all used to feel like, after she gave birth, there was no sign of fatigue at all, instead she felt like she was younger again, even though she was already 39. Since she couldn’t get out of the hospital just like that, she decided to just watch some videos on a popular website.

However, what she didn’t know, was that while she was busy watching videos, out in space and into the universe, the sun seemed to have grew more hotter and moved further away from Earth so as to not burn it, while the moon seems to shine brighter, emitting a dazzling elegant sparkle, as if it were a royal knight.

And in other universes, appeared countless new worlds, describing how powerful the being that caused all this was.

“Ming Zhao! Wake up! You’re going to be late for your first day of school!” Ming Hong’s voice resounded throughout the entire house, waking everyone up.

At this time, Ming Zhao, who was awake and reading light novels on his laptop, closed it shut and went to the bathroom to get ready.

Ming Zhao was currently 14 this year, and was starting his last year of middle school. Since things were peaceful, his parents decided to move to Japan since it was easier to do their jobs there, and they also wanted Ming Zhao and his siblings to enjoy school life.

His siblings didn’t object...well maybe his older brother did since he would miss his childhood sweethearts, who all loved him. They would make a great and loving harem, if this was in the ancient times and not the modern days.

Since Ming Zhao didn’t talk nor did he want to, and had no opinions on the matter, the family moved to Japan to start their new life.

When Ming Zhao walked into the bathroom and looked himself in the mirror, a handsome boy with natural blonde hair appeared. The face looked childish yet cute, it looked energetic yet expressionless. It was a face perfect without any spots or pimples to ruin it.

This novel's true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.

However, Ming Zhao was not paying attention to his face which he had seen countless of times. He was currently paying attention to the back of his head where his hair had grown long enough to reach the end of his neck. Though it didn't looked like a bother and instead made him even more handsome, the part where it reaches his neck was inconvenient because he usually wore clothes that reached up to his neck, and if the collar line got in contact with his hair, it would create unnecessary itches.

“Sigh.”

Ming Zhao sighed. He should get a haircut during the weekends when school was out.

Once Ming Zhao finished checking his hair, he did his daily business and went downstairs with his bag in hand.

“Morning Xiao Didi[1].” Ming Zhao was greeted by his eldest sister, Ming Rou Rou, when he reached downstairs. She was putting today’s breakfast on the table.

Ming Rou Rou was a girl with bright purple hair, with golden eyes. She had gotten her purple hair from mother, and golden eyes from father. Her body proportions were perfect, the chest was big but not too big, and her bottoms were sexy. She was 17, three years older than Ming Zhao, making her a perfect older sister for a little brother.

Ming Zhao greeted back and sat down for breakfast, and as he was going to eat, he said, “Where’s Father and Mother?” He was very confused, as he knew his Mother was already awake but didn’t see her, neither did he see his Father.

“Mother just went out and Father hasn’t come back yet. So I’m left in charge of you and the twins.” Ming Rou Rou explained. She looked expectantly at him, hoping he’d praise her. She was bound to be disappointed as he replied with an “Oh.”

“Here, come sit. You need to eat your breakfast and get to school on time. You can’t be late on your first day.” She pursed her lips as she knew it wouldn’t be easy. She smirked evilly as she thought up other plans to seduce him while completely ignoring the fact that he was her little brother.

Ming Zhao who was about to dig in felt a chill up his spine. He looked at his sister and wondered what calamity was coming his way.

“Jiejie, gege, Good morning!” As he was about eat, two cute and energetic voices overlapping each other came down from the stairs. His twin sisters, Ming Mei and Ming Li came down and grabbed a seat while greeting them.

These two twins were the older sisters of Ming Zhao, apparently one year older than him. They had golden eyes on one side of their eyes, and purple in the other.

The one sitting on the left of Ming Zhao was Ming Li, with golden iris on the right and purple on the left. The one on his right was Ming Mei, she had golden iris on the left and purple on the right. The girls had identical features, yet opposing ones.

However, the girls seem awfully attached to him, as they both wrapped themselves around his arm and leaned against him, looking very cute yet could make people jealous.

When the girls sat beside him, Ming Rou Rou looked at them with a sharp gaze, as if telling them to back off. She and the twins were competitors competing for Ming Zhao’s attention, and hopefully his love. They had been competing for years now so such scenes were extremely familiar to him.

The twins however, still attached themselves on Ming Zhao, and cast Ming Rou Rou a look, as if saying “What are you going to do about it”.

Ming Rou very much wanted to teach her younger sisters a lesson, but had to refrain as Ming Zhao was present. She didn’t want to appear unruly in front of him, making him think bad of her. So, she could only think of a different approach.

“Xiao Li, Xiao Mei, let go of Xiao Zhao’s arm. He needs to eat breakfast and go to school or else he’ll be late.”

“Let sister clean, you go and get ready.” When Ming Zhao was finished and was about to clean up his mess, Ming Rou came and picked up his plate, starting to clean, while she motioned for him to get ready.

“Alright, thank you sis.” Said Ming Zhao. He grabbed his bag and walked out the door.

When Ming Rou heard the door shut, she breathed a sigh of relief, then cast her gaze at the twins, who also looked back.

Outside, you could constantly hear the sound of struggling, turning the house into a mess.

Meanwhile, Ming Zhao who was oblivious of the things happening in the house, was heading towards the bus stop. Although in a family of espers, he naturally was rich, but he wanted to stay low key and obtain real friends instead of ones who only eyed his money.

“Stop!” When Ming Zhao arrived at the bus stop, he could see a crowd of people surrounding something. However, once he heard a voice coming from the crowd, he fastened his pace to get a closer look, since he was someone of very high curiosity.

When he arrived, he pushed through the crowd and went in, causing a few to cast annoyed gazes while others just payed attention to the spectacle that was happening in the center.

Once Ming Zhao took a look, he saw a girl in the middle of crowd while being surrounded by boys around her age. They all seemed to be middle schoolers. It seems the girl was being bullied.

Ming Zhao wasn’t an impulsive person, nor a righteous one, so he just observed the situation to see if the girl needed help.

Minami Aiko, the girl that was being bullied was currently annoyed yet scared at the same time. She was usually a person who was energetic and unwavering, and taking on one person was her limit, but that person usually was a girl as they were fragile and didn’t know how to fight. However, when faced with several boys, she was really cornered.

Seeing that many people were surrounding them, she looked around to see if anyone would help her, yet she felt helpless once she saw the surrounding onlookers only watch, not intending to help in the least bit. Some people even started recording and taking pictures.

“It’s no use Aiko, no one will help you! Just be my girlfriend and you’ll have everything you want, you can do anything you want, unless you still like that guy?” A boy, possibly the leader, said as he looked at Aiko.

When Aiko heard those words, she was slightly flustered but hid it, causing the boy to get angry. His name was Hoshi Taruda, the future heir of the Hoshi conglomerate, which was one of the top companies in Japan.

(I know nothing about companies or corporations, so this might be wrong.)

As the heir to the Hoshi conglomerate, he was spoiled from birth and still spoiled as of today, so he grew up thinking anything he wants is his, and others should feel honored when they see him.

He was also a braggart, and wanted to show off to people that he had beautiful girls on his side. Once his reputation of a young master was known, many girls swarmed his sides, and he had tasted them all. Since he was a young master of high status, adding on his good looks, all girls would die for him. Yet, this girl, Minami Aiko, actually rejected him so many times, making him lose face in front of many people.

After tasting many rejections, he decided to get the girls’ background checked, and found she had a boyfriend already, or at least that’s what rumors said.

Today was the last day, the last chance. If she rejects him again, he would tell his men to secretly kidnap her and be done with her, then ruin her boyfriend's life.

When Aiko saw that the boy was getting angry, she was slightly nervous. She knew he was someone of very high status, and could cause misfortune to her and her family, so she didn’t dare to anger him. Yet she also couldn’t agree to be his girlfriend, as she already had a boyfriend and she also didn’t like rich young masters like Hoshi Taruda, who used his family’s hard earned money for his own uses.

“No! Never in my life will I ever agree, nor will I agree in my next life either.” Those were the words that came out of her mouth as her brain circulated fast. The words contained despair, sadness, anger, and freedom. When she said these words, she felt like she had a huge burden lifted from her, freeing her.

When Taruda heard this, he immediately exploded, and said while pointing at her, “Beat her! Beat her until she apologizes to me!” The lackeys behind him instantly ran forward towards Aiko, intending to beat her.

Although Ming Zhao was of Chinese blood, he was still a genius, and had studied all the languages on the planet, proving to be very proficient at it. Thus, he was able to understand what they were talking about.

It was just a young master and his daily routines of showing off his wealth and status, making others submit before him. In this situation, the young master was making the girl submit before him, or at least he was trying. Furthermore, it was very forceful, and the young master telling his lackeys to beat her up further stabilized his thoughts, making him hellbent on saving the girl and teaching the young master and his lackeys a lesson.

Seeing that the lackeys were approaching the girl, Ming Zhao quickly made his move, swinging his fist at lighting speed, accurately hitting all the lackeys in the jaw, making them spit out a tooth or two. This caused the surrounding to drop their jaws in shock, not understanding what had transpired.
