As the master of this space I willed for life to appear, I could feel the elements around me. Occasionally they would shift as something emerged from them, A life form, something that calls this continent home. Rising from the elements came plants, animals and the sentient.
The Plant People from the Earth Element. The Naga from the Water Element. The Harpies from the Wind Element. The Dragons from the Fire Element, The Angels from the Light Element, and the Demons from the Darkness Element. The six races that represent each of their element, their body being the purest substance of any other existence.
Of course since its a magical world there will be elves, orcs, goblins, dwarves, giants, kobalds, lizardmen and any other species of magical creatures that you would find. I drooled when imagining all the types of beast girls that appeared but I stopped fantasizing and got back on task.
At first each species were confined to their element, unable to leave or disturb those of others elements and due to this each element had a few powerful kingdoms. Humans were spread everywhere, learning about the different magics that could be taught. Many went to explore for the ruins that I had scattered throughout the continent.
Some were able to learn how to summon, to craft weapons, the magic of stances yet the knowledge on the Void, and the secrets of the creation of life remain hidden. Some have found hints of mana control yet none had explored the lost sky ruins.
I was proud to see that humans have compounded together a school to teach magic to all kinds.
The elements were brought together, the leader of the Purest races created a council to represent each element.
Each element is unique and different from the others.
The creatures of the Fire Element share strong bonds and a sense of justice to help those in need. to "Protect" others from harms way. Likewise their pride is to the extent of bordering arrogance and their belief of what they say is justice.
Hailing from the Wind Elements are the creatures who try to understand the workings of their universe. How does mana flow? Why is it present in our bodies when it is not needed to survive? Why are some people capable of wielding it more effectively than others? They often lose themselves in the pursuit of their knowledge that they can be ignorant of what is happening around them.

Creature of the Earth Element are obsessed with improving their conditions, may it be physically, economically, spiritually, mentally, or socially. Creatures of the Light Element have a high affinity to others than self. They are social butterflies that are willing to become friends with everyone. They allow themselves to be the servant of others and to make sure that others have a good time, are in good health and are not suffering in any way. Due to this they often neglect themselves damaging their body as they constantly undergo extraneous tasks.
Creatures of the Darkness element are natural adventurers. They often experience periods of wanderlust, often leaving everything behind to go adventuring, and more often than not to never be seen again. They are also the ones who discover many of the continent's secrets as they push themselves to explore all the unexplored regions in the land. They always manage to bring back stories of grand adventures, sharing the secrets and mysteries that lay dormant in the ruins they explore.
I am proud to see my continent bustling, the uses of magic continue to amaze me. I had always thought it would be something that could make life easier, from the household to the battlefield but viewing the daily lives of people I can see that they use it for more than that.
I put my hands together and words of power appeared, I drew them onto a creature and it gave a roar as its potential was unlocked. I unleashed it into the wild and sent words of power into the skies. from now I have created powerful beasts that teach deeper secrets in magic. Guarduin: the Runic Beasts
