Prologue

Year 2064

This year a man called Sebastian Androssi from Italy developed technology that allowed people to enter into a game, it was called virtual reality. There are two forms; first the capsule which is more expensive but allows up to 99% realism and stimulates the muscles in your body so that you can play for longer amounts of time and have no health problems. The second form is a helmet, this can go up to 95% realism but if used for long amounts of time can cause major health problems (over 30 hours with no rest). In the game time goes at x4 speed so, 4 hours in the game is 1 hour in the real world.

Day 22 in Prison

Hi guys my name is John and I'm coming at you from prison.

I bet you're wondering how I got here.... Well I will tell you, I "used" to be what some people would call a mad scientist. But I think I'm pretty normal. Sometimes I do have weird thoughts like "what if I could make a 1.5 meter chicken and solve world hunger", but apart from that I'm completely fine. Anyway back to why I'm here, I may have blown up half of a building while trying to turn water into gold. Soooo yeah, I got arrested for 3 months. To be honest I think they were overreacting I mean it wasn't that bad, I mean no one died or whatever....

Day 23 in prison

The guards at the prison also think I'm crazy and keep trying to get me to go to a psychiatrist so I can "sort" out my problems. They have been telling since day 1 to go and I finally cracked and decided to visit Dr. Richards. When I finally got to his office while being escorted by some guards, he actually made me a prisoner wait with some random strangers in a waiting room. I haven't even met him but I feel like he is the crazy one. Finally after God knows how long of sitting (my bottom actually went numb) I finally entered. And oh.........

Ummm, is this guy ok in the head. What I have just seen is making me want to jump out the nearest window immediately. His room has a fluffy wall and cuddly toys sitting around a tiny table with tea on it. And he is sitting there, actually hanging upside down on a pole while playing a psp, ALSO he looks about 14.

He jumped down and landed after a front flip.

He said"Hello John ......."

"John" I replied

"John John???" He stared me in the eyes.

I nodded. He looked very amused and started to laugh like there was no tomorrow. Dude, is my name really that funny, like come on he is actually on the floor now. Even the guards are laughing at me from behind. Well anyway let's skip all of this useless stuff and get to the good part. He told me to start playing the brand new vrmmorpg (Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) called Dragon's Tale. Dragon's Tale is set in a fantasy world with magic, Warriors and monsters. It was so hyped up because it was revealed to have no monthly subscription, only a one time purchase and it allowed up to 97% realism with the helmet on which caused a lot of commotion as that was supposed to be impossible. I was quite happy after that I was sent back to my cell and was told it would arrive in 1 days (praise the Lord for one day rush). After that I went to sleep wondering how I would play when I was finally in the game myself after all of that hype around a few months ago.

Day 24 in prison

It was around 11:30 when I finally heard the knock on my cell door, i had been waiting for this for 4 hours. I was getting tired from sitting at the door and staring out of the window so when I heard that knock I instantly opened the door and startled the man outside carrying a medium sized box.After that ordeal the man would not look at me straight, and I didn't know why but if I had to guess it was probably because I scared him or........ He saw my name on the box. Probably the second one so after an awkward couple of minutes I was finally ready to play.

I laid down on the bed and put the helmet on, yes it is a helmet and not a capsule. I was told it was because they thought I might make a bomb or something stupid like that. I couldn't help but laugh.

So here I go onwards to Dragon's Tale
