I entered the classroom for the second time and quietly sat down in my seat. Since I was a window seat, I could just stare outward at the beautiful scenery. At exactly 8, our first class, liberal arts, started. Liberal arts were my strongest topic, so I continued staring at the cherry blossom trees outside the window. Though I couldn't see her, I was sure the girl to the right of me, Amikura, was staring at me. What the hell does she want? I glanced towards her and saw her purposely knock her pencil off her desk.
"Can you please grab my pencil" She whispered.
"You clearly dropped it on purpose. Don't mess with me"
It was this early in the morning and this girl was already fake dropping her pencil. I don't want to deal with her antics. My comment seems to have worked as she didn't bother me for the rest of the school day. After school ended, Hoshanomiya came in to give some quick announcements.
"Make sure to come to the club fair in the gymnasium. The student council will be starting it in about ten minutes."
No need for me to go. Why would I give myself extra work by doing a club? The chess club should still be open, I doubt they need to give a speech to recruit members. I left the classroom and headed towards the chess club using the map. After about ten minutes, I found the room and peered through the door window to see there were a couple of second and third-years inside the room. I opened the door, and a second-year student was there to greet me.
"Hey, I don't think I've seen you here before. What brings you here?"
"I heard that you guys do wagers here. I would like to do some if possible"
"What class are you from"
Knowing that Class D had the worst students, I immediately said.
"Year 1, Class D. Hikgaya"
"hahah, sure. Do one with me. How much are you putting up"
The person in front of me would now let their guard down as he now believes that I'm from the worst class. This would make him play worse, so I decided it was time to go all in.
"90,000 points?"
"Deal! Come sit down over here"
I walked towards the chess board and sat down across from him. We started, and I'm not being cocky when I say I wiped the floor with him. In 5 minutes, I had won. The senior, who was previously full of confidence, now seemed somewhat sad as he gave me the 90,000 points. Another senior walked up to our table.
"ha, Jin, you lost to a first year. Don't worry I'll get your revenge. How bout it, kid?"
"haha, I think I got lucky with him. Do 150,000 points sound good?"
"don't complain when you lose"
I started the game, and this girl was significantly better than the boy before. If I was 2,000 Elo, she would be from around 1,200 - 1,400 Elo. However, the difference in our skills was clear after I beat her in 10 minutes. Like the boy before her, her confidence immediately dropped and she sadly handed me the 150,000 points. I was on a streak, so I decided to go again.
"Would anyone like to wager 300,000 points?"
Another senior, this time a third-year, walked up and shook my hand.
"ha, kid you may be good enough to beat them but don't get too cocky."
We started the match, and I beat him within 20 minutes. He handed me the 300,000 points, but unlike the others, he didn't look sad. On the contrary, he seemed interested in me.
"Are you really from Class D?"

I decided it wouldn't matter anymore if I came clean, as no one would underestimate me after I had already beaten 3 students.
"Haha, sorry, I'm actually in Class B. I just said I was in D, so you guys would underestimate me."
"Hmmm, so you already figured out the sorting of classes. What kind of first year are you? In two days?"
"haha, just lucky I guess."
"Anyways, most of us here are already out of points. Come back next month and play against me again"
"Of course, senior"
I walked out of the chess club room with 630,000 points. Not bad at all. As I exited the class, I saw someone waiting outside the clubroom. It was the girl who was at the front of the Class A-line. Just glancing at her gave me chills. I ignored her and began walking back to my dorm. Thankfully, the girl didn't say anything to me, though, I did feel her gaze on my back as I walked away.
-*- (2 weeks laters)
Surprisingly my first 2 weeks of this school were almost going perfectly. No one in Class B attempted to talk to me, probably due to what I said to Amikura, and I had over 600,000 private points. Soon, that number would be over 20 million if my plan went as expected. Currently class ended, but I was on my way to ask Hoshanomiya a question that went with my plan. I saw her walking in front of me and called out to her.
"Hoshanomiya, I have a question if you have time right now"
"Yes, what is it"
"How many points is it to save a person from being expelled?"
"... 20 million, but what are you planning"
"You'll see soon"
Great, everything was going perfectly. For the past two weeks, I had been carefully observing the behavior of the red-haired kid, I met on my first day, after all, he was the key to my plan of making 20 million points, and he really pissed me off back then. After he was scolded by the ramen shop owner, he saw me and realized I was watching them.
'Hey, you trash, are you going to leave or not"
Usually, I don't get angry after being insulted, by this time I felt pure anger. Someone, far inferior to me on every level, was calling me a piece of trash? I wouldn't take this at all. Getting him expelled was too easy of a task and too light of a punishment, so I decided I would ruin his entire class. This wasn't a rash action by me as my plan would probably lead to that if everything had gone well.
After watching, I realized he was most vulnerable and aggressive after his basketball practice. My plan has to be completed within the next 2 weeks. If I waited until after that, my plan to ruin his entire class wouldn't work as students would find out that they didn't receive 100,000 private points each month. Taking that into account, I decided that today would be the day, so I walked towards a supermarket that was near his practice. After stalling a bit in there, it was 5:25 and his practice ended in five minutes, so I left the supermarket to sit on a nearby bench.
This wasn't just any bench. This bench had over 3 security cameras looking at it, so I decided that it would be the best place for a "fight." It was also on the path the Sudo, the red kid, would use to get back to the dorm.
About 5 minutes later, I saw him walking back from practice, and right as he passed by me, I scoffed quietly. It would make the cameras think I coughed, however, to Sudo, it would be clear I scoffed at him. I could see the anger growing in Sudo's eyes as he turned towards me.
"what the hell did you just do"
I realized that as long as Sudo thought he was stronger than someone, he would easily fight them. All I needed to do was appear weak and instigate Sudo until he hit me. I would take a hit gladly. That hit would cost him his class, and it would be impossible for him to see through me as he was in the worst Class D. Also, according to the admission handbook, any form of violence would result in immediate expulsion. I purposely trembled and said.
"N-nothing, n-nothing I-i sw-swear"
'Eh, so you can scoff at me behind my back, but when I talk to you, you're scared shitless. I might have to teach you a lesson"
"N-no p-please"
Sudo walked towards me and leaned over me, directly looking at me in the eyes. Now, I knew he wouldn't do anything violent if I continued acting scared, so I now needed to instigate more. And now was the perfect chance, anything I whispered to him now wouldn't be able to reach the security cameras, so I whispered to him.
"You're not gonna do shit dumbass"
Sudo froze for a moment. The person who had been scared of just talking to him now completely changed his attitude.
"ha, I really do need to educate you"
For the appearance of the security camera, I kept trembling as Sudo slowly raised his fist. His fist now at the height of his shoulder swiftly moved through the air and made contact with my cheek.
*BOOM*
I went flying off the bench and landed on the floor. I could feel blood. My nose was bleeding, however, rather than being angry, I was happy. This idiot really just hit me in front of 3 security cameras. I now understand was Class D was deemed the worst.
Sudo walked away gleefully as he saw me slumped down across the sidewalk.
"Hey, if you ever do that shit again, I'll beat the hell out of you"
I almost raised my fist in glee. Not only did he hit me in front of 3 security cameras, but he also threatened me with even more violence. This was a clear-cut case, he would be expelled easily. After 5 minutes of lying down, I got up and pretended to look around until my eyes paused on one security camera.
This action was carefully planned by me to refute anyone saying that I had planned this entire thing. If I got up immediately after Sudo left to get the footage, it would be easy to tell that this was a scheme made by me. However, I remained lying down for five minutes and pretended to notice a security camera.
It's over for Class D.
