“Hmmm? This is…” Yong Min was feeling something inside his body. It was energy, surging like the waves in the ocean. He felt his body turn hot. It was as if he needed to use it somewhere.
He closed his hand and suddenly punched out.
“Swoosh!”
The tent’s curtain was blown away.
“Boom!”
Something shot out from his fist, landing to a tree 10 meters away.
“Crack!”
“Thud!”
The energy that was sent out of his punch made the tree collapse.
“What happened?”
“Quick protect the young lord!”
Shouts could be heard around the tribe the moment the energy wave landed on the tree.
A group of young women holding swords quickly rushed to the tent where Yong Min was.
“Young lord!” the first one who got inside called out to Yong Min, she was afraid that something happened to their god.
“I’m fine!” Yong Min said smiling towards all of them. He was touched that they cared so much about him, although it was maybe because he was their so called “Demon God”, he was still touched no matter what.
Seeing him fine and even full of energy, all of the young women heaved a sigh of relief.
“Oh?” One of the young women said as she noticed something.
The others noticed as well. There were black liquids on the ground. Even Yong Min’s robe had some.
“Young lord did you perhaps…” Someone said, her voice quivering in awe and worship.
They were all stunned when they felt the energy from Yong Min’s body. Even though they believed that he was the reincarnation of their god, the speed in which he cultivated was astounding. Just yesterday, he was an average human with no inkling that he cultivated. But now, he was exuding the aura of a bronze realm level 1 warrior.
They all quickly looked at the tree that had fallen down to the ground, they don’t need Yong Min to tell them, that he was the one who did it, and the commotion that got all of them to panic was also caused by him.
They giggled and blushed; the ones who really caused a commotion were them. Looking back at Yong Min, they quickly praised him and excused themselves.
Yong Min sighed. He quickly looked at the tree on the ground and then quickly thought of the energy wave that he managed to materialize earlier.
He then looked at the bone on the ground and picked it up. He could feel that the bone was already depleted of energy. He sighed again. It seems he is going to need a lot of it.
He looked at the black fluids on the ground, he could smell the black fluids, it smelled like fish.
“So these are the impurities in my body.” Yong Min murmured. He had read about impurities on one of the books that he got from the tribal chief.
Yong Min went out of the tent and called one of the women he saw walking.
“Where do I go to take a bath?” he asked. He could see a river not far away, but that’s where they take the water they drink.
“Oh, we can bring a barrel inside the tent if you want young lord.” The woman answered.
“You don’t have to trouble yourself.” Yong Min said, he didn’t want to cause so much trouble just for him taking a bath.
“There’s a hot spring nearby young lord, it is occupied by our Small Earthly Fire tribe but you would have to walk. It is quite far from here, all the Dagan we have is currently used by the tribal chief and her unit.” The woman said.
The author's content has been appropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.
“It is okay, but what’s a Dagan?” Yong Min asked, he could imagine that it was a mount or a carriage.
“A Dagan is a wild beast tamed by human, as they are sturdy and docile in nature.” The woman explained carefully.
“Hmmm. Where did the chief go?” Yong Min asked, as he heard the woman say that the Dagan were currently used by the tribal chief and her unit.
“They went to go to the neighboring tribes to trade some items.” The woman sad.
“I see. Then can we go to the hot spring right now?” Yong Min asked, he was feeling uncomfortable by the smell he was exuding. But the group of young women from earlier and the woman he was talking to right now didn’t seemed bothered about the smell. It seemed that they were already accustomed to it, as they were cultivators.
“Of course, but let me prepare before we go.” The woman said, she quickly excused herself, and then went back holding a towel and a new set of clothes. Behind her were a group of women she called to come to guard Yong Min.
Looking at the group of young women, Yong Min was inwardly shocked. This group of young women could be called the strongest warriors of the tribe. They all had a cultivation of bronze realm level 4.
“Young lord, we can now go to the hot springs!” The young woman said.
“Ughh! Aren’t you going way over board with bringing everyone along just because I wanted to take a bath?” Yong Min asked. The tribal chief was a bronze realm level 6 warrior and she was a tribal chief. But the group of young women was already at the bronze realm level 4 and they were only here to act as his guard.
“No. We were tasked to look after you by the tribal chief.” A young woman said.
“Okay.” Yong Min stared at them for a while before he could only nod. The tribal chief was really good to him.
They quickly left the tribe, going to the hot spring. They entered a forest and on their way, they encountered some wild beast, luckily it was mostly at the bronze realm level 1.
…..
On the three high peaks plateau’s tent that were used by the three great elders.
The three great elders were seating on a round table. On the table was a map of the plateau and its surroundings. On the map were circles and X’s that signified where the enemy was last seen and where a battle took place. Although there were many circles and X’s all over the map, the three great elders were focused on looking at a spot on the eastern part of the map. It was where the main army of the alliance of the plain was gathered, led by their supreme elder and great elders.
Around the three great elders were close to a hundred people. They were the elders of the three high peaks plateau. They gathered because of the constant attacks of the Alliance of the plain. They were waiting for the orders as to when they would counter attack and how they would do it.
“What do we do? They attacked the post to our south, and even managed to rout the warriors on the west.” Lu Angou said.
“I say, we attack them directly and kill those mother fuckers!” Chu Gang said. He already wanted to go personally and attack the army of the alliance many times, but Ye Chung would pin him down every time.
“Brother Chu, we already talked about this many times, we should wait for the right moment before sending you to battle. We don’t want any accident to happen to you!” Ye Chung said as he sighed.
He knew that Chu Gang wanted to end this quickly, but the price would be the many lives of the plateau’s elders and warriors.
“Hmmp!” Chu Gang grunted.
Ye Chung turned silent, thinking about something, while Chu Gang and Lu Angou were discussing about the battles.
“Elder Ye Yong!” Ye Chung called out an elder.
“Great elder!” an elder answered as he knelt with one leg. He was wearing a long grey robe. He looked frail as he was skinny and was already old. He was the elder that Ye Chung called out.
“Bring a group of elders with you and go to the north and recruit some tribal warriors that are willing to fight for us.” Ye Chung said.
When the elders heard Ye Chung’s words, they were shocked. Even Chu Gang and Lu Angou were shocked.
“Brother Ye, didn’t you say that we should just wait for the right moment? Why do we need to go to the north? The tribes there are only as strong as the elders of our three high peaks plateau?” Lu Angou said, although the tribes there were as strong as an elder of the three high peaks plateau, no tribal chief would hire themselves to fight the alliance of the plain. They would at most send some warriors that were at bronze realm level 4 or below.
“What would a bunch of tribal warriors be able to do? They would only become cannon fodder!” Chu Gang said.
“I naturally have plan.” Ye Chung looked at both great elders and said slowly. Even he, himself was not sure if his plan was doable.
“Really?” Chu Gang said doubtfully.
“Just let him be. We will know sooner or later what plan he is cooking in those big brains of his.” Lu Angou said.
Ye Chung wryly smiled. It was his first time not telling these two brothers of his, what his plan was. He was afraid that they wouldn’t consent to his plan.
Truthfully, his plan was simple. He would recruit some tribal warriors in exchange for promising them entry into the three high peaks plateau, allowing them to become villagers, enjoying the heritage and teachings of their village. Those recruited would be divided into the number of villages from the alliance and will be led by the elders of the plateau to attack those villages in order to force the alliance to retreat.
Although the alliance attacked almost each side of the plateau, they were not able to attack the north side. That was because the north side was a cliff, with a height of more than 2000 feet. The alliance would have a hard time if they chose to attack that side. There were no stairs or path towards the peak of the plateau.
But because there were no traitors from the plateau, they didn’t know that there was a secret passage from the peak of the plateau to a tunnel underground, leading to the north. But the only problem was, taking this path, the warriors would have to travel a long tunnel that would take 10 days to cross. No one knew who built this tunnel, but because of this tunnel, the founders of the three high peaks plateau chose to build their village here.
