While Nyx watched, Amara began mass summoning her mobs for her first floor. She summoned 20 moss soldiers, which would allow a reasonable amount of distance for them to roam while still being close enough to activate their The Unit skill. Next, she summoned 9 mores mcflytraps and 5 boom seeds. After she summoned those mobs, she had 35 mob points remaining. He summoned 5 treeneedles, which cost 20 mob points total, and 3 hypno’s that cost 15 mob points total.
“Are you done playing around?” Nyx’s voice pulled Amara out of her trance and admiration of her mobs and back to the situation at hand. A glance at the timer showed that she had wasted 10 hours building her floor and setting up her mobs. This left her 15 hours until the game officially started, and her dungeon became open to adventurers and players.
“Yep, what do we have to do next?” Asked Amara, anxious to move on to the other things she has to do as time is ticking away. She definitely felt that she was making good progress with her dungeon creation. She was just worried that she may not have enough resources to continuously finish everything she has to do to make sure that the dungeon is ready for adventurers.
“The floor boss, of course.”
“And how is the floor boss chosen?”
“Same way you chose your mob type. If you do not like the choices, you can redraw with V Coins” With that, Nyx snapped her fingers, and the table with the blank cards appeared in between them.
Nyx shuffled the cards for a couple of seconds before drawing three and placing them on the table.
The first card on the left depicted a treant. The card in the middle showed a human-like person within a giant flower. The last card on the right depicted a lion made out of plants and vines.
Amara studied each card intensely, as well as compared them with each other. The treant was out, as the treeneedle mob was very similar. The flower human was something that Amara was not so sure about. As it seemed that this boss was stationary, and she did not want that. She wanted something that would move around the floor, requiring adventurers to track it down to fight it. So that left the plant lion. The plant lion seemed the best option, lions, in general, were strong and fast, and that probably would translate into this floor boss.
“I choose the floor boss on the right card, the one that looks like a lion.”

With her decision made, the left and middle cards image disappeared, while the right card glowed.
Nyx snapped her fingers and a status sheet for the boss.

Amara gave a short whistle as she looked over the boss’s information. Compared to her other mobs, this boss was extremely formidable. She highly doubted that in the beginning, adventurers would be able to take the boss down solo. Especially not at lower levels. The first unique ability was interesting, but the second made Amara smile. The ability to buff all of her mobs within a certain area was outstanding. This boss was undoubtedly going to gain her a lot of experience. This was going to be fun.
“Are you happy with your choice?” Nyx was looking at the boss’s information with her.
“I am.” She gave the lion’s stats one last look over before turning back to her fairy. “So, can we summon it now?”
“In a rush, are you?” Nyx grinned at Amara’s enthusiasm. Amara quickly looked at the countdown, and she still had 14 hours left until they go live.
“No, just excited.” Nyx gave a soft, genuine laugh as she flew over to Amara’s core before lightly patting it. “I like your enthusiasm Anaphiel. However, you still have a bit more work to do before you can have fun.” With a snap of her fingers, Nyx brought up a page that had the words upgrades, with the number 5 flashing next to it.
“Every time you summon a floor boss or any type of boss mob, you will have 5 upgrade coins to use. Of course, this is before you summoning the boss for the first time. As your boss starts at a higher level than your other mobs. As such, your mobs will be level 1, while your boss would be level 5. As you gain tiers, they will all grow a level per rank.”
“So, when I hit Rank 2, my mobs will move up to level 2, and my boss, level 6?”
“Yep, you will also gain 1 point for each of your mobs to upgrade, while the boss will get another point.”
These game mechanics were getting better and better for Amara. That meant that every rank would give her more possibilities and options to evolve. He could test run her dungeon against the adventurers, then adapt it the best way.
“Alright, so can we upgrade them now?”
“No, before we do that, you have to name your boss. As a dungeon core, you get to name every floor boss and any other adjacent boss that comes after that you create.”
“Are there any restrictions to what I name my boss?”
“Nope, just nothing too blatant that would give away that you are a player dungeon core or anything that goes against your NDA.”
After a couple minutes of thinking, Amara thought of the perfect name for the plant lion.
“I think I will name it Dandylion.”
“Dandylion? Really?” Nyx asked as she laughed.
“Hey! Don’t be mean. It goes with the plant theme of this floor.”
“Well, whatever you want then.”
“Well then, Nyx, shall we start upgrading Dandylion?” When Amara said the boss’s name, Nyx smothered a laugh.
