Chapter One – General Khan

A Man in a black suit walks onto the stage surrounded by many people in a large room at the Hyades Convention Center in Boston. He walks to the middle of the stage he greets the family of the man and walks where the podium stands and looks toward the crowd

“I am the president of the USA and it is my honor to come here personally to reward General Khan with one of the greatest award that anyone could have possibly achieved for the recognition of achievement he has accomplished during the war. He put himself into the heart of the enemy taking the risk that no one else would take so we the people can sleep well at night with no worries. To him his life was not important as the ones he love and us the people of the United States of America. He didn’t have to fight in the war because his already retired, but chose to reenlist into the military to serve his country in our time of need. I have no words to describe the heart that this man has. He went above and beyond and with his courage and strong determination. He overcame the impossible and ended the war swiftly before the enemy could do anything to our country. As asked by his family I would like to show a video that we wouldn’t otherwise show without the consent of the military and family, but this is an important video that has to be watched by all. The video will be shown through the eye camera that will show the 1st person view of the person. We will be playing the camera of 2nd Lt Rogers, we would recommend people with weak hearts to leave this room as the video is very graphic”

The light goes dim and a video begins playing

2nd LT Rogers POV of the final battle

“Shit they won’t fucking give up” he screamed in his head

Rogers was sprinting down the hall avoiding gunshot from enemy fire. He was task into planting the bomb into one part of the building, but was spotted by enemy units that were going to reinforce the other side of the building that was being assault by the main force that was used as distraction for his team. He was part of the team that jumped with General Khan to the back side of the building to plant bombs and another assault force distracted the enemy by attacking the front of the building and another building next to it. He successfully infiltrated the building and completed his assignment, but a mistake on route got him running into a squad. He managed to toss a flash bang and run around, but they still caught up to him as he had to avoid other team within the chaos and was spotted by another unit.

He grabs hold of another flash bang from his belt and drops it on the ground to blind the enemy, but before the flash goes off “Bang” one of the enemy soldier gets a good shot at Rogers and he’s hit in the leg. He groans in pain and continues running while he’s bleeding profusely. Rogers’s vision slowly loses awareness in his surrounding and can barely focus as the blood keeps flowing out. Suddenly a rocket flies past him and hits the wall causing him to fly into the wall in the opposite direction knocking him out cold.

2nd LT Camera POV of the final battle (he’s unconscious so everything you see is through his headgear camera now and this is what the audience is also watching too)

In the video Rogers is looked to be against the wall unconscious. You can see the wall in front of him has been hit by a rocket and there are bits of debris and small fire around him. In the corner of the video you can see armed enemy soldiers walking towards him with their guns up watching him with caution for any movement. One of the soldiers walks up to Rogers and checks his pulse while unarming him.

“He’s unconscious and unarmed sir, what do you want to do?”   He says to his officer

“Good work private let me make a call to headquarters” The officer replies

As the officer is making the call and the soldiers are waiting for orders, someone comes out from the darkness of one of the vents on grabs one of the soldier and snaps his neck like a twig. He proceeds to the next one and also snaps his neck effortlessly as he did to the previous soldier. The next closest soldier turns around and before he could say and take any action the person drives a combat knife into his neck. The soldier examining Rogers look over and before he could raise his gun, the man pulls out his pistol “Pft, Pft” he takes two shot from his silencer pistol putting a bullet through the skull of the soldier and his officer.

The man holster his pistol and combat knife and walks over to Rogers and check on his pulse and sighed happily when he finds out Rogers still alive.

As he quickly Bandage up Rogers wounds he says “Rogers you’re always getting messed up no matter where we go, even If we’re not even on mission. I’m glad that you’re still alive kiddo.”

He proceeds to pick up Rogers and puts him over his shoulders and you can see them moving through the building. Guns and explosive can be heard in the back ground as the two continues moving through the building, but the viewers can’t see anything since the camera are facing the ground. Suddenly you can see the movement of the person increases as the picture of the ground moves faster and faster. Bullets and be heard being shot at the two and a bullet mark is made in the ground on the camera as they are moving. The camera becomes shaky as the person is trying to move as fast they can while turning and Rogers body jerks with the sudden movement. This goes for 12 minutes before the camera shows them going out the window of the building with Rogers tucked into the man arms to shield him from the fall out of the 2nd story building. The face of the man is shown on the camera as blood coming out of his mouth and he struggles to get up. The man carries Rogers through the forest as the bullets can be heard hitting the ground. In the background you can hear two voices.

“Commander we have successfully retreated and out of blast range” said from one of the voice

“Tell the men I’m sorry and that have Major Cunningham take control.” Replied the man as he coughs violently.

“What do yo----“The man cut off as a massive explosive can be heard.

It shows the man falling down from the force of the explosion and you can see the camera facing toward the man who struggling to turn over on to his back.

In the video you can see the guy looking into the sky

“Sorry my love it seems like I won’t make it home” he says as he continue staring into the endless sky

These were the final moments of General Khan, Father of 4 kids, Husband to a loving wife, Hero to the people of the United States of America.
