Oliver found himself in a dimly lit cave; however, that was not the interesting situation. Instead, it was the pair of green monsters that had their bodies glued to each other. Their bodies reeked of sweat and passion, while their mouths let out loud grunts. Of course, his sudden appearance in this room didn't go unnoticed as they quickly separated from each other and roared at Oliver. It was then he noticed the rusted cleaver and knife in their hands. As they charged toward him, Oliver squinted his eyes.
He didn't even consider them a threat. No, instead, he wondered whether he could delete the scene he just saw from his brain. Two men in love with each other? Sure, that's fine. While he wouldn't watch, he would support them nevertheless. However, two skinny green boys the size of children? He would rather drink a gallon of bleach than see that again. Oliver put his hand on his chin and thought a gallon of bleach might really remove such a thought from his mind.
As the monsters arrived at Oliver's body, who had stood still the entire time, he began to move. While the more dominant of the two stabbed the knife toward his abdomen, Oliver took a single step backward, and the knife stopped only a few centimeters away from his body. Although the monster was confused, luckily for him, he wasn't in that state for too long. Oliver took a quick step forward, twisted his body, and planted his fist perfectly on the monster's chest. The monster's mouth let out a fistful of blood, and he staggered a few steps back.
The other monster roared once again. However, this time, a few tears dropped from its eyes. He charged with his rusted cleaver, but before he could even take a step, Oliver was already in front of him. He stretched out his hand, grabbing his wrist. He twisted the wrist, letting the cleaver fall from his hand. With a quick movement, he grabbed the rusted cleaver falling to the ground and stabbed it into the thing's neck. Quickly, Oliver pulled out the cleaver and threw it into the other monster's chest, effectively killing both of them. Oliver stood over the two bodies with an air of dignity, although such a presence was quickly destroyed as he started to gag.
"Ugh! W-what the hell!? Oh my god! I-I'm going to throw up…" Oliver quickly moved away from the two corpses. However, the smell stuck to him like an annoying ex. The reason? His clothes were stained with the monster's blood, its puke-green blood. Oliver quickly took off his clothing and replaced them with a set he had bought.
Now he was wearing a simple long-sleeve black shirt, along with a pair of jeans. Nothing too complicated, yet better than clothes stained with green blood. Moreover, albeit small, Oliver could feel a surge of power throughout his body. He let out a satisfying sigh and scanned the cave he found himself in. It was empty, other than the two dead monsters. As he was staring at the monsters, a barrage of information assaulted his mind similar to the past. This time, he learned that he was still on the same planet of Glamour. However, he was inside a former Chimera Ant Colony and was now inhabited by a goblin colony. The goal for this Fissure was to kill 200 goblins and their chief.

"Wow, 200? Hmm, that's a high amount considering this Fissure was ranked lower than the other one." Oliver concluded goblins were weaker than the Jinki. However, that didn't mean he would let his guard down. He went over the dead goblins, dug into their chests, and grabbed a small red stone. These stones could be sold for money and were present in most monsters. The better purity and size, the more expensive they are. He also grabbed the rusted knife from the goblin with the cleaver in his chest. Oliver looked at the corpses around him and wondered,
"A-am I even human?"
Oliver finally realized what had happened in the other Fissure now that he was back. He had killed 100 human-like people. While they were being possessed by a monster, that doesn't mean he can escape responsibility. Hell, for all he knew, if the Jinki were killed, they might have regained consciousness. Moreover, he burned the village, the forest, and everything in it to the ground. The heat that the pitiful animals felt, the pain of being cooked alive, the feeling of helplessness, that was all his doing.
Oliver looked at the green creatures known as goblins one more time and shook his head. While he admitted he viewed himself as a monster, he acknowledged he should have looked for another way in the other Fissure. He also admitted the two monsters were fundamentally different. The Jinki were parasitic creatures that fed off a living host, while goblins were cancerous creatures that had no sense of humanity. Jinki weren't human, but their hosts were close enough. Oliver let out a sigh and tossed the stones into his subspace, the space created from the enchantment Pocket. He looked around the cave and found only a single entrance and exit, a long tunnel that had flickers of flame inside. Small drips of liquid echoed throughout the tunnel and stopped at the cave he was in. However, he was most worried about the loud growls that were becoming louder and louder with every second.
Oliver felt he should take some time after this was all over to think about a few things. However, he knew this wasn't the time. Whether it's the approaching footsteps or the cold breeze that gave him chills, he needed to focus or this might become his resting place. Oliver looked at the tunnel, having made up his mind to not view the goblins and anything similar as anything but animals. He ventured inside with a newfound mindset toward the goblins hiding inside this hollow world, a new mindset for the other monsters that will come, the ones that have no shred of humanity.
They were monsters, they were animals. As such, Oliver began to view them as animals.
Yes, they were all animals, animals that were meant to be slaughtered without an ounce of mercy or remorse.
