"Rían, next time you invite a nice lady overnight, it would be nice to tell me first", Millicent places a cup of fresh mead at the table before sitting down on the stool, watching her elder brother with a frown on her face.
Although not officially related by blood, Millicent is like a little sister to the Captain, and she sees him as a big brother as well. The relationship these two share is quite unique; she's not incredibly clingy or anything, and she knows when her brother is having one of his usual "I need a girl or boy to sleep with"-moments. Kid's being desperate after all, and what he really needs is a partner to rely on, not to just have a fuck in between.
Rían's head is buried into his arms, groaning in theatrical agony while he looks up to take a glimpse at his sister. She has red hair, tied into a bun, and a freckled face, red cheeks and blue eyes. If it hadn't been her parents, he wouldn't have met her, and he wouldn't become the man he is right now.
His life "drastically" changed, however, when he'd met the daughter of a baron, fell in love with her and was dead set on marrying her, until the baron accused him of only getting married to her because of the family treasures he'd inherit. Such a stupid accusation that almost cost his life; in the end, he was banned from Amnos, the baron's island. One step into his territory, and Rían sure would never return to his own airship.
"Baron Crowley has sent us a telegram, by the way", Millicent said, taking a sip from her mead, "he's accusing us of stealing something 'valuable'. Did you steal something from him when you were with his daughter?"
"'ts been two years...", Rían mutters, "why'd he come up with that now? If he's talking about the handkerchief, it was a fuckin' present from her daughter!"
Millicent just heaves a sigh, "All this hassle for a handkerchief, now Crowley is sure acting a bit dramatic", she says, then gets up from her stool. "We're about to reach Bayware, now get your shit together. It's finally time we're taking some good rest for once. I've been dying to see mom and dad again, they've been worried sick about us."

"Wait, we're almost there!?", Rían abruptly gets up from his stool and heads out to the railing, widening his eyes when he visions how they're about to approach the airship landing.
----------------------------------------
As soon as the airship has landed, Rían leaves the ship along with his crew. It has been a while since he's been there; he sure has missed home, and he cannot wait to meet his adoptive parents again.
"Do you think they're cooking us a feast, Milly?", he asks Millicent, who looks at him with a shrug.
"Eh... possibly. It sure has been a while since we were last here."
Bayware is the island of sky pirates, where some have started their adventures and ended them for the sake of retiring and now telling their adventures to their grandchildren. The island has a neutral standing with the royal kingdom, therefore no one from the kingdom is allowed to attack this place— as long as no one even dares to set a foot on the royal island, that is.
Bayware is filled with several guilds and markets, even outsiders, who are not sky pirates, like to travel here, only for the good atmosphere the island is offering.
"I don't want to ruin your fun, but", Luke hands them a flyer, "I guess we're having issues with the King's Guard."
Luke is a tad bit shorter than both Rían and Millicent; being seventeen years old, he's also the youngest member of the crew. Luke serves as the strategist and navigator, he's also quite intelligent and a bit of a pessimistic fellow.
Rían takes the flyer with a frown upon his features. The picture that was tracing the flyer is a bit strange as it only shows like five people in masks. "King's Guard huh... Troupe Noire? What have they done now?" Rían looks at Luke, who only shrugs.
"I don't know... but let's find out!", he says, then adjusts his glasses. "While we're here, I can look for more information, while you can go and meet your family!"
Millicent hums at the suggestion, then looks up to her stepbrother. "Perhaps mom and dad know something, too. Especially dad. He knows the talk of the island."
Rían just gives her a shrug. "Then let's go visit them. I am hungry."
"You only think about food, Rían."
