Su was the first to break the silence. In front of Xiu, Su did not hesitate to show her dependence as a young girl.

Xiu suppressed the weakness caused by being partially detached from his memory body's influence and only came back to his senses after a while. The actions he made during the excessive emotional fluctuations earlier required strong willpower support, which was equivalent to grabbing hold of the steering wheel from the driver's seat on a highway and speeding recklessly ahead. This thing called psychological resilience had been exercised quite well through Xiu's many experiences during the days.

"You are now in Oubel City's Twin Towers. This city is Ante Corporation’s secret base built on Earth for researching ideation-body forests . They captured you also for ideation-body research purposes. Also...you wouldn't have participated in that selection exam too...right?"

Su nodded but still felt confused about their current situation - what is Ante Corporation? She wanted nothing more than just entering Orphidell Polytechnic Institute together with Xiu at same university but who would have thought it was all part of some scheming conspirators' plan?

"Brother, did you participate in that selection exam one year ago too?" Su asked softly while running alongside him panting.

"Silly girl! You can't even imagine what I've been through during this period of time. Hurry up now. cover your nose and run!"

The Ante alarm system has issued a warning. At the same time, countless 'ideation wanderer' in the building who were in a state of awakening were forced to enter sleep mode. The images in Xiu's eyes became even more bizarre and surreal, with cyberpunk-style fantasies appearing before him. Xu Yunchang sitting in his office had no time for these matters as his daughter's condition suddenly worsened due to her suffering from ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and she had been unconscious for a day now. Currently he was using his identity privileges to search through Cloud Metalas's massive database looking for any possible way to perform an operation on her mind-body connection that could help treat her condition, currently his daughter's situation was worse than those lost within their own consciousness like these 'ideation wanderers'.

His daughter meant more than his life.

Arriving outside Blowing Terrace Square at an open-air platform, automated cargo flying vehicles continuously transported a special type of ore towards loading rooms located at bottom end of cable elevators. Xiu noticed that they were actually transporting Rose-Quartz Ore which shone with pink-purple radiance. Its composition mainly consisting of cobalt and iron along with unique chemical bonds making it quite stable while not reacting easily with hydrogen or helium found within fuel sources - resistant against high temperatures - typically used as face covers when manufacturing spacecraft acceleration engines.

Xiu quickly pulled Su behind one such aircraft which had landed nearby charging station.With sharp eyesight he already spotted Ante Corporation’s repatriation team rushing over from opposite direction so he gestured Su not make any noise.

"Shh... Do you see that building across from us? We need to reach 60rd floor there where we can find our escape vehicle here first ,let’s wait until those people over there are gone." Xiu spoke softly but seriously only audible between them both.

Su nodded silently agreeing not speak up anymore.

The crcrsolemn soldiers looked around with their faces covered, and the silenced magnetic guns in their hands swung continuously as they moved. This type of silenced magnetic gun does not make any sound when fired, but the small range magnetic field it creates can temporarily short-circuit the memory implanted in the 'ideation wanderer' brain. Xiu opened his smart bracelet and scanned a silenced magnetic gun. The description information of this gun matched, making his expression even more serious.

"You, you, and you follow me to search at Blowing Terrace Square. The rest stay here for a carpet search."

The message from the external helmet indicated that 'ideation wanderer' No. 001 was nearby in this area. The remaining six people searched everywhere and approached Xiu step by step.

"Yitong, can you help me?"

"What do you need?" Su tried to lower her voice.

"Have you seen the silenced magnetic gun in their hands? That gun only affects the memory implanted in 'ideation wanderer' brains within a small range without harming external bodies. I have implanted memories now so that gun is effective against me but not against you. I need you to go to the cable elevator entrance on that side to attract their attention while I use enough anesthetic here to knock out these six people." Xiu pointed discreetly at his hidden scar behind his head then pointed at the anesthetic needle he held.

"Okay," although Su still didn't understand what Xiu meant by "memory implant" or how it related to Ante Building, she had absolute trust in her childhood neighbor brother. She ran around like a rabbit, looking for a concealed direction until she quietly arrived at 200 meters away from where she started shouting.

"Hey! You guys! I'm over here, idiots!"

While shouting loudly with both hands waving above her head back and forth as much as possible trying hard to attract attention towards herself for Xiu's plan.

"There's someone there! Hurry up!" One soldier heard Su's shout first then signaled other soldiers together toward her direction quickly approaching them all together.

"Why is it a girl? Control center shows that ideation wanderer No. 001 who escaped is male?" That same soldier discovered something wrong first again.

"It might be another ideation wanderer having withdrawal symptoms gone crazy again; however strange why would they run over here? Let’s catch them all together." Another soldier raised a silenced magnetic gun about 30 meters away from Su aiming directly towards her firing silently into thin air creating an invisible electromagnetic field instantly surrounding Su.

"How could...could it be that there are no memory chip implanted inside her head?!" After half hesitation seeing no reaction from Su after being hit by silence-magnetic-gun made him show shock on his face while gradually losing consciousness too.

"How about it, the feeling of having your intention body forcibly suppressed is not pleasant, right?" Xiu leaned close to the ear of the Crsolemn soldier and said calmly, ignoring his panicked expression.

"You are..." Before he could finish speaking, the Crsolemn soldier fell down, followed by his other fallen comrades.

After dealing with six Crsolemn soldiers, Xiu didn't waste any time and quickly ran towards Su.

"How do we go up? Is it this cable elevator behind us?" Su pointed to the huge cable elevator behind her and looked at Xiu in confusion. There seemed to be no external entrance to the cable elevator behind her.

"Yes."

Xiu placed his forearm in front of him and tapped a few times on the screen of his wristband. The dandelion-like neural map was projected onto the wristband. He then scanned in front of a concealed sensor on the right side of the titanium alloy cable elevator before an hidden door opened.

Xiu entered into the interior of the cable elevator first. After confirming that it was safe, he turned around and waved for Su to come in. Seeing Xiu's beckoning gesture and looking back at unconscious Crsolemn soldiers lying on their backs made Su tremble with fear as she walked inside.

The technological level of this world was at least 30 years ahead compared to what she had known from her own world - did she travel through time?

Su thought for a moment, then shook her head and looked at the figure of Xiu who was walking slowly in front of her with his warm and broad back. She confirmed that she had not traveled through time. The young man in front of her was Xiu who had disappeared for a year, and he was also the older brother next door whom she grew up with.

At least they have temporarily escaped danger now, Su thought.
