Veloth felt like he was being pushed and pulled through a vast distance as planetary bodies and stars flashed by like orbs of wonder, winking in and out of existence as quickly as it takes to move ones eye a faction. Veloth could probably only see these worlds and stars for such a brief period because of his species’ heightened senses and abilities.
He was fuming mad. He had finally learned how to speak to his mother, only to be taken away from her. Veloth could only hope this situation was not what he thought it was.
[I swear if this is a summoning I am going to kill someone.]
Veloth’s senses abruptly returned. The first thing he noticed was that the dark power that coated him in the cave remained clinging to his fur. No, not clinging, more like it was absorbed by his fur, changing its color to the purest, void-like black.
The protective frost on his fur was gone. He had determined the frost was not only from the cold of his home but also from an aura his species emits, an aura of intense cold. Frost created from his aura began to reform on his fur, only this time it resembled frozen tar.
Next Veloth noticed he was standing in a large crimson circle, and the same darkness was permeating from it, as though a visible odor. That darkness, as soon as it wafted from the circle, swirled around and settled on Veloth, as though to thicken his coat.
Veloth then noticed seven creatures which can only be described as demons. Six of them stood at set intervals around the circle, hands held palm-down in front of them. They wore crimson cloaks and multiple tools of varying sizes and shapes, almost all caked in fresh or dried blood. Their appearances varied greatly, some with or without horns, wings feathered or bat-like, tails scaled or furred, red skin, blue skin, gray skin, slit eyes and not slit.
“Hah! Finally! It looks magnificent! Well done!”
The seventh demon boomed. Charcoal grey hair, golden snake-like eyes, clean-shaven red skin, a robe that could probably be called a kimono with gold and silver dragon entwined around it, rings of varying metals and gems on each finger including the thumbs, and large diamond earrings hanging from each lobe, causing them to stretch. Absolutely gaudy. A perfect target for Veloth's fury.
“GROOAAAAARR!” Letting out a roar more akin to a lion’s, Veloth pounced. The gaudy demon’s face contorted from one of satisfaction into one of surprise and fear. The demon appeared to move very sluggishly as it began to utter a single word.

Zavus watched as his hemomancers worked, pouring massive amounts of mana into the edges of the already mana enriched blood circle. The circle emitted a pure, dark energy, more than even the demon king was capable of possessing. The dark mana swirled and frothed in the middle of the formation, as though trying to pull something from the very air into existence.
There it was, a grand figure, about four feet tall, claws that looked menacing, teeth that could surely puncture and shred the toughest mnna infused armors. Eyes that glowed a deep blue piercing the very soul. Two tails perfect for balancing high-speed maneuvers. Lastly, void-like fur that was absorbing the massive amounts of dark mana meant to bind the bea-

[Eh…? That mana is meant for the binding, why is it being absorbed?]
As Zavus began to panic internally, his outer appearance soon came to mirror his inner turmoil as the beast roared and dashed with an ungodly speed straight for him. With some of the greatest reflexes among the Seven Sins, he uttered his emergency word.
“Teleport!” Zavus shrieked in an unrefined matter. A ring on his left hand glowed brightly, made purely of diamond, and the world distorted as he appeared once more in his chambers within the palace of darkness, Pandemonium.
“Geh… I have to tell the others about this. But if they kill it, I will never possess that power!” When the creature charged at him he felt purely mismatched. Zavus, a demon general of such great power, he is recognized world-wide by demon and human kind alike as one of the Seven Sins, the mightiest powers on the world of Cres. He was defeated by a single action, before combat could even hope to take place.
Zavus had one tool among his possessions which could possibly tame the beast. He had planned to use it on the demon king, but the demon king’s power is no longer needed if he possessed this beast. Zavus removes an ivory collar from his desk beneath his diamond framed mirror. This collar had an ancient enchantment which would make the wearer unable to act against the wearer of its sister ring of similar ivory.
“With this, I will be the greatest power without doubt, on this world.”
Zavus grinned and shuddered as he imagined owning such a power. As though to serenade him, screams could be heard throughout the palace Pandemonium.

[The cowardly fool vanished!]
Veloth growled to himself as he turned towards the six other robed figures in the room, who were now drawing kris daggers and other such blood-letting or sacrificial weapons and tools.
[Judging from appearance alone they are blood mages of some sort, so it is probably best to wipe them out quickly. The more blood there is, the more difficult things will become.]
Veloth discovered while hunting that his mind only needs to will his power to create something for it to become a spell. If he were to imagine a great field of levitating, iron-hard ice spikes, for example, they would appear as his power spreads from its bottomless center within himself. Next if he willed such ice move with such force as though being launched from a massive nail gun, they would pierce his desired targets.
There was one thing about his spell that was for some reason off. The ice that formed the spell was the same color as the protective frost aura emanating from his fur, appearing as though a void of nothingness could be frozen and launched as a weapon.
Screams from the dying and punctured hemomancers sang throughout the room Veloth was summoned to.
