🌩 Suddenly the dark clouds gathered, flashes of lightning created the deep thundering sound. Clara and Jayda entered the house, but Mateo left both of them in the living room.

“I’m afraid it’s gonna rain soon.”😧 Clara worried while looking at the dark sky through the large window. The room was getting darker and the eerie chill cold wind lightly blew in the room.

“AAAAAAH!!!” 😱😱

The girls screamed in horror, hugging each other, when they heard the classical Toccata 🎶 🎹 started to play. And a tall and large figure dressed in black butler suit carrying a lit up candelabra, entered into the living room.

“We are out of electricity!” 😑 Said the large man. The girls only realized that he was Gabe, they thought they saw Frankenstein.

“It’s… It’s okay, we’ll have a romantic candle light dinner then.”😅 Jayda replied, immediately un-hug Clara and corrected her posture.

“I’m afraid, today’s dinner will be prepared by Penn.” 😗 Gabe replied, the Toccata section 🎶 replayed again with that spooky organ sound.

“Stop it! Mate!” 😑 Gabe shouted. “Sorry to spook you out, that’s the only section he knows to play.”

“I see, so you guys are switching roles today?” 😅 Asked Clara.

“Yeah, we used to take turns. But…” 😥

The sound of an oven with a mechanical timer indicating the reheat has done. Penn opened the oven and took out packets of plastic bags. He unpacked the food 🥐 🍟 🥪 in it and placed them on the delicately ornate porcelain plates.🍽 Trying to make the food look as palatable as possible. Those were French cuisine indeed, but the food was still cold.

“Oh thank god!” 😑 “Luckily the electricity was out, he thought it was a microwave.” Gabe opened up a bottle of Korean Soju 🍶 and poured it into their cup. “You may still wash them down with some good wine.” 😑

“Hey, you can still eat them chilled!” 😒 Penn grabbed a piece of cold stale croissant 🥐 and took a bite. 😗 🤢 He then forcefully swallowed that cold food. “It’s… not bad!” 😅

“Hello, Miss Juana and Miss Yeoh. My apologies, the house is without electricity and I’ve ordered the technician to fix it as soon as possible.” 🧐 Aron entered the living room to greet them. As usual, he dressed up like a nobleman from the Victorian era, and kept his hat on his head even when he was indoors. 🎶 Another Toccata section replayed.

To their surprised, 😳 Jayda raised the wooden cross ✝ to her chest and Clara raised the garlic braid 🧄 and bottle of holy water 💧.

Suddenly the indoor light lighten up 💡 .

Tzk…tzk… BOOM! 💥💥💥

The oven suddenly ran into short circuit, the explosion followed up with sudden back to darkness.

“AAAAAAH!!!” 😱😱

Surprised by the explosion, Clara and Jayda both screamed.

As a gentleman, Aron attempted to keep the girls calm, while he rushed towards them 🏃, he was tripped by the extended electrical wire 🔌 that connected to the oven.

He was about to fell towards Jayda 😵 while Jayda and Clara assumed that he was going to attack them🧛 …

[Oh! I’m willing to die!] 🥴

[Jayda! I’ll save you!] 😫

Clara frantically threw away the braid of garlics 🧄 towards Aron, hitting his head, his cap dropped and she immediately splashed 💦 the holy water onto his head 🧑‍🦲.

The indoor light came back 💡 and everybody stood still, feeling deep trouble ahead when the light brightly reflected from Aron’s bald spot which was hidden under his cap. Added to that, the splash of holy water made it worse.

“Heh!”

Aron stared at them with a smug, while the holy water dripped from the top of his head.

Penn must have connected the made in for Taiwan oven into the Hungarian electrical power supply. (You can’t plug 110VAC appliances directly into a 230VAC power supply, you idiot! 🤦)
