In the depths of the void, a solitary existence spontaneously appeared at a time that no entity witnessed or noticed. This existence seemed similar to a human body, yet it was so far from any worlds that held such lifeforms, instead appearing where lifeforms should not be able to exist at all... yet exist it did... or did it?

The humanoid body was only that at this time, a body. No consciousness, no soul, no life. Just a simple body floating in the void. This did cause some side effects however, as the body's exposure to the void caused the very essence of the body to be tempered by a higher form of energy: mana.

The mana that was being introduced to the body while it was in the void caused the body to repeatedly begin to breakdown from not being able to handle the potent mana from the void, only to suddenly repair itself instantly by unknown means.

This cycle of destruction and rebirth repeated for centuries in the void, however, something had started to observe this odd phenomenon within the void after nearly a millennia since the inception of the body appearing. The entity's curiosity was piqued for the first time in nearly an aeon as it observed this perfectly healthy body being tempered in such an odd way. Why was there such a resilient body floating in the void? For what reason had it continued to exist? Then a slightly dangerous thought crossed the observer's mind: what would happen if life were introduced to such a body?

The entity that was observing the body's unorthodox tempering process began to ponder. For years it pondered... running through several scenarios in its mind as it continued to be fascinated by the odd phenomenon happening within the void. After thinking about the possibilities, and finding that it could not fathom the future of such an odd body being incorporated into a human civilization, it decided to act. The entity would introduce life to this void tempered body while placing the lifeform within a world administered by the entity.
