The Void
In an endless abyss of darkness, there was a red orb, surrounded by crimson flames. This was Benedict Charne well his soul at least, who was favored by some gods and hated by others, he was a normal man and despite his faults many loved him, but this is not that story, this is the story of his life in another world, a world swords and magic, a fantasy that not many see and those that have try to change it but I am going on tangents, so I will start this wonderful story, the story known as The Chronicles Of The Chaotic Sorcerer.
'is this what death is?' he wondered 'I have no eyes yet can see, nobody yet can still feel, no mouth but still speak,' he mused to himself, and thought back to how this all became, 'Was it today?' he thought "no, it started a while ago if I recall right, back when I was still young,' he thought. 'ahh yes, those were the days, back when I was still alive and kicking, 5 days ago," he said, unintentionally .
Five days ago, earth
It all started when I was getting back to college from spring break when a drunk driver was callously driving on the road, and when a child was playing with his ball and when it got on the road, the child ran after it but it was only after did he see the truck barreling towards him, back then I thought the kid was stupid, and he was 'welp he's gonna die.'.... yes, yes I'm not the most heroic of people but I have no regrets, i'm not gonna try to play the 'hero' i've always liked the villain better anyway.
And this was not the last time this happened either, after all I always was the one who attracted the most trouble, from being in fights, to getting lucky on the lottery, and then getting kidnapped because of it, well it was what payed my tuitions, even though I had a scholarship, I think that was also the time when I got my first kill by getting out of their chokehold (gym finally came in handy) I stabbed him with a pocketknife . Yes I may be a bit of a sociopath and all but, well, nobody knew what happened since there was minimal screaming and nobody saw anything till the garbage men found them in the trash can, but by then it was too late.
The Void
"Then 4 days ago there was a robbery in a store that I frequented," I started "while I was still in it, and kept people hostage, while killing someone every hour they didn't get their demands fulfilled, their were 5 dead that day, thankfully they weren't me because I escaped through the back door, and yes while it was cowardly life is, and always will be better than death," I thought while my consciousness started to fade.
"Then 3 days ago there was a shooting at the college I was in" I started "which thankfully once again, I was skipping school with some friends and was at one of said friends apartment while watching some anime, and reading manga, and finishing up with fighting over the seasonal best waifu" I said "Yuri is definitely best waifu" I declared to no one in particular, "oh! And if you're wondering, 10 people died," I felt fainter yet continued on.
"2nd day was free day because, ya know shooting and all that, and was the rest of the week too, well not like I'll be able to enjoy it anymore" I stated to, once again to no one "on this day I went too an all you can eat buffet you can eat buffet with all my friends, that being 11, we ate our fill and started to head back to our rooms while I went to a book store instead, because I wanted to fill up my manga collection," I stated once again "and thought this was a good opportunity despite all the happenings in recent days . I went out to the book store but was unable to because it was crashed by a car and blew up, this only happened 5 minutes ago since I could still smell the burning bodies and smell of iron," I felt tired but decided to finish anyway.
"Then finally the day you sick freaks in my head or should I say soul" I said despite knowing that no one was listening wanted to know about, MY DEATH ," I said the last part in an unexpectedly ghostly voice "It was an extremely stormy day where you could mistake it for night if you didn't know any better, lightning flashed and I was on my bed reading some fanfics , when" I drawled on for a second "BOOM! a thunderous roar echoed out before everything flashed white, and I only knew excruciating pain before" I stopped for dramatic tension, though there was no one I was saying this too "poof, I knew no more and saw this void of nothingness" I said to the endless void.
My mind felt a heavy weight on it before I said anymore and before my mind started to sleep, I thought 'so this is what death is' my soul started to break apart into countless moats of light. Before they started coming back and reforming into the red orb and crimson flames, my mind returning even faster and seeing,

I saw this message and like cogs in a machine my mind processed these words before saying "fuck" audibly before the endless darkness of the void shattered like glass following the mad cackle that was both horrendous and at the same time angelic. What he saw next was something he could never imagine that a goddess would look like, she was, from what he could see only 5ft tall and yet holding his entire body, or is it soul? "I'll never get used to this soul thing" he said audibly once again but this only seemed to make her cackle once again, but she looked only 10 to 12 and her hair was 2 long light pink pigtails except without the braids, she was also wearing and gothic lolita outfit with red eyes and a smug expression adorning her face along with multiple golden ornaments across her entire form.
She then opened her mouth and said "So you are the being in the void that has been causing a rukous as of late," but then immediately said "you must either be mad or insane to talk like that to me," before even giving me any breathing room to me she then additionally said "I like it, be my champion in my crusade against the light!" Finally giving me some breathing room for some thought.
After a while of thinking and finally getting to see the new place I was trapped within, it was a colorful place filled with roses and and a giant mansion with a blood red moon in full bloom, as background she was sitting on a seat with tea on the table beside her "And t-to what does this entail exactly," I finally managed to say, before quivering in the delighted expression that she had, it was like she was looking at prey right before killing it.
"Well then mortal, I guess you at least need some knowledge into what you are going to be doing for me." she drawled out with and entirely out of place expression, that was an extremely innocent smile, before then explaining my situation, "You have been chosen by me the Evil Goddess Of Chaos And The Moon Quelannia to do battle in a world that you would know as a 'Fantasy' world to defeat the hero that my opposite to see the fate of this 'Fantasy' world," she said before asking "any questions." with an innocent expression.
As she said this I came to a conclusion "so this is an isekai, but except instead of defeating the main villain, i'm the villain, and must defeat/kill the hero." I manage to say without somehow stuttering.
"Not a question but essentially, yes" she said almost exactly after what I said "now shall you choose to be my champion and get a chance to ascend to godhood, or shall you choose to go to hell for over 500 years" she said the last part in an unexpectedly dark tone.

I thought over it 'become the villain in this story and kill the hero, while dooming the world and getting a chance at godhood or go to hell' I thought about this for less than a second before answering "Hell yes! I've always loved being the villain anyways!" I exclaimed loudly in enthusiasm.
She apparently only found it funny, because she laughed at my words and tearing up, before saying " great, great now that the introductions over what job will you choose." she said the last part in an unexpectedly serious tone while wiping away the tears from laughing, making it unexpectedly cute.
But before even getting to that, I heard the word class and accidently said "job?" dumbly
She just gave me a face, and said "yeah job, dum-dum, like in video games, will you choose to be the close quarter fighter, The magic casting mage, the sneaky thief or the bow and arrow using ranger" as she said this four icons appeared a blue shield and two swords crossing, a red staff with fire coming out, a black hooded cloak with some daggers, and finally a green bow and arrows.
I carefully thought about this 'this is important, I need to think will I be a fighter, mage, thief, or ranger,' I racked my brain for about 5 minutes before choosing, "I choose Mage" I finally said, 'It was decided for me ever since she told me my options, I thought, 'after all i've always loved mage.
She made a smile that temporarily made me doubt that she was an evil goddess before remembering the the demonic visage that we were currently in "great, then you can assign your points, towards whichever field that you want," she said as she disappeared in bloody red roses, as well as the rest of the world.
'Great back here, huh' if I could sigh I would 'but seriously, are we sure this isn't a game' he thought before a screen popped up.

'I'm gonna go ahead and assume 5 is the standard, and most people don't have any mp at all, the signature and ultimate, i'm gonna worry about later, class is probably what type of Spell caster I am, and everything else is explained' another screen popped up after.
