Benedict Charne was, what you would call, normal, sure he liked anime and was above average in the smarts, but other than that... well he may have been a bit of a sociopath but only a bit. And sure, he may have not been what you would call a 'Hero', but still, he wasn't evil, and would only trouble those that troubled him first, and so, 20 years of his life passed, and everything was good, till a certain Truck came after him, in the form of a drunk driver and a kid running in the street. You would think he would go and save the young boy, but no, He was no 'Hero', and so the child died, and events like this happend more and more till, whatever God and/or Goddess got tired and killed him with a lightning bolt. this would be his end, except, while floating in the void, dissolving in moats of light he saw a... game screen?
