The next morning i woke up stiff from the wooden bed, sun creeping inside of the tattered curtains, slowly wiping the gound out of my eyes.

Suddenly hearing screams outside, it seems to be our neighbour Adam, not making any sense of why he sounds to be in a panicked state at this current moment so early in the morning.

Especially on an sunday, putting my clothes on quickly i rush outside to see what the commotion is about, i see Jamie over at the edge of the forest his hands stuck on his head shaking it.

I notice his Wife Cheryl is crouching besides him, i barely hear sobbing coming over there looking more carefully i see Cheryl crouching over someone that is lying down, not sure who it is.

Adam suddenly turns towards my direction as he spots me his hands fall down from the top of his head limp his eyes loosing all emotions his face becoming paler with every second as he looks at me.

I get a gut wrenching feeling that something horrible happened, not sure what to do standing there staring into Adam's eyes for what looked like time had stopped, suddenly Adam snaps out of his daze crouches besides Cheryl and whispers into her ears.

Cheryl slowly stood up walking towards me, while our eyes locked i noticed that her eyes were swollen looking like she had cried for hours, snotty nose her hair roughed up.

As she reached in front of me grabbing my arms pulling me into her embrace still sobbing, whispering in my ear : Nick my boy i'm so terribly sorry.

Sudden urge of crying explodes out of myself tears start streaming out of my eyes not knowing why, confused i get the urge to know exactly what had happened & why i´m so sad at this current moment.

I Struggle out of Cheryl's embrace & barely get from her i start sprinting towards where Cheryl was crouching before, getting closer & closer to the person that is lying down i can't make it clearly out who it is but i see something sticking out of that persons body.

As i get to that person i look at the object first that is sticking out of him it is a Gilded Tulwar.

After looking at the Tulwar sticking out of the body i dry out the tears out of my eyes and start to look up towards the face of the person, emotions suddenly exploding out shock sadness anger anxiety frightened.

Tears start pooring down my face like there is no other, it was my Brother Brad , Brad Holster loving and caring brother that has taken care of me & my upbringing , provided for us eating less himself letting me having bigger portions saying that i should eat enough to grow up faster & stronger.

Why Brad ? why not me ? why did this have to happen to me ? i fall down onto my knees besides my brothers head huddling myself together with his head hugging him , bringing his head in my lap, emotions in my mind running wild crying to the point that i can't cry anymore my eyes starting to dry up like the desert in the Western Lands of Vladin.

Suddenly i stop feeling anything not being able to think at all, everything seeming to be a dream not believing that this has happened.

Starting to feel everything spinning, my vision growing blurry & suddenly it hit, everything went black.

Cheryl & Adam*

It was early morning after being half awake all night long from the pain in my ligaments & hips, making breakfast for my adorable husband Adam.

Going back into the bedroom waking up Adam telling him breakfast was ready, the sun was not even up yet it was around the time when we would grab something to eat before Adam would go into the forest to help Brad bit out with Chopping down tree's before he would go into town to work.

Adam had been helping Brad out teaching him the tricks & safety around Chopping down tree´s and turning them into useable Firewood so Brad & Nick would have means to survive it all started with Five years ago when their Parents got Murdered.

Nick had been just Seven years of age and not understanding much what happened so the first weeks Cheryl & Adam had taken them two under their wings like their own children, Brad had just been 12 years of age that year and was about to take the examination towards  Robert Trident's School, but with the unfortunate event's he never got around doing it.

Brad had gotten overly protective over his little brother wanting to provide the best he could for him not letting his passed away parents down, so Adam decided to help him out with starting to learn how to make & gather Firewood.

All of the surrounding neighbours helped them to begin with food & clothing, buying the firewood from Brad & Adam.

As Brad got older he started being more self sufficient & didn't need Adam's help anymore but then again Adam got allways up around this time to help him out for few hours Before he would need to go to work himself, Maintaining all public structures in the city.

Adam was a simple Laborer but he got decent wages that let him live comfortable life with his Wife Cheryl in the edge of the forest outside of the city.

Cheryl herself had stayed home after her mid 30´s as she started to be in more & more pain and could not do much other then take of their household.

After sitting down in the dining room it was simple porridge with bread & eggs for breakfast.

"Adam isn't it time to get going & help Brad ?"

*"Yeah he should be arriving anytime soon"

In that moment Adam finished his sentence yells could be heard outside of the house startling Cheryl & Adam

*"Stay inside i will check what is happening"

Just as Adam was getting himself ready everything went quiet , putting his boots on walking outside checking the surroundings he does not spot anything at first but then suddenly see's something stick out of the ground thinking it was odd Adam walked over to check it out.

hearing small groans as he got closer & closer, just as he was getting closer he realised it was Brad that was lying down there and something sticking out of his chest he rushed over noticing it was a Gilded Tulwar that was stuck within his Chest blood leaking out of the corners of his mouth.

In a Panick he Screams : "CHERYL!!!!!!!!!!"

*"What happened my boy ? who did this to you ?"

Brad started coughing up blood having hard time trying to speak so Adam took him in his lap and raised his head up.

**"They finally came back to clean all loose ends, *Cough* Please don't ask anymore about it just promise me one thing make Nick go to school no matter what & please try to look after him if needed."

As Brad spoke his last words his body suddenly went limp, Brad Holster had died.

*"Cheryl Get over here Now!!!!!".
