In a split second, Dante's surrounding changed completely.

Dante was now in sort of a new dimension that was devoid of any Vitralis Essence. He was standing on top of a surface that had a Luminescent glow. This glow on the surface seemed out of the world and stretched throughout. The air around him wasn't normal but had an ethereal and a unique presence.

Surrounding Dante were Flames! Some of them were raising infernos that stretched in the otherworldly dark blue sky and some of them were just a tiny sparks!

They were although swirling violently, they didn't create any sound. The most violent flames were those that were of Crimson huey.

All the flames were Vibrant, casting an otherworldly glow that fluctuated between hues of crimson, golden and azure.

At this moment, something appeared in Dante mind and suddenly, he knew what he had to do in this new dimension.

He needs to have complete control over these raging flames! He needs to control the flames in this dimension like an extension of his body!

This.... So that's why, I had a feeling seeing these flames... I can feel the connection with the flames.... But I can't control them effectively... This is troublesome.

Dante body was not made of flesh in this dimension. He had no body more specifically. He was just a bright white light that didn't had a specific shape. Despite of this, He was still able to see, feel everything normally.

Dante gazed at the flames and raised his 'hands ' in an attempt to control them, but they didn't budge at all. They were struggling against his control.

They are struggling... What am I supposed to do with them? How am I supposed to have full control over them?

Dante then remembered the lessons he learnt during high school in his previous life.

Flame requires oxygen, heat and some kind of fuel... How the hell can I control an atom! There isn't any kind of fuel in this dimension also!

Wait... I might be looking at this in a wrong way. It isn't necessary for it to be scientific, After all I am in a magical world... But symbolism, metaphorical way?

Flame is associated with anger and danger or specifically fear... To control these flames means to control these emotions? These flames may represent different degree of emotions of anger and fear... Infernos requiring high control over the emotions while the smaller flames requiring less control.

....All this time, I am living in constant fear. This fear is due to my unique circumstances and the situation I am currently in...

I also feel angry on how I had Transmigrated to a new world... This is my only source of anger in this world but it never seemed to end...

These are things that are related to my previous life... To control them means to not worry about the feelings related to them..

The azure flame burned Dante a little as he felt an excruciating pain! But 'fortunately' , he had faced worse pain like the integration of Old man in his mind and literal breaking of his body! Those moments made Dante a little resistant to this pain.

The bright light of the 'body' of Dante dimmed a little after being burnt.

This isn't good. From the looks of it, I can only afford one more failure. Any more would lead to me losing the trial.

Dante's 'eyes' shined with determination as he revisited the moments. Those moments felt very real as if he was experiencing them right now. His body like last time, trembled. His 'eyelids' were continuously flickering and his whole body was shaking violently.

A surge of emotions rushed in his mind continuously like a tsunami! Dante was struggling like a lamb in slaughterhouse!

But suddenly, Dante's 'eyes ' opened violently.

He failed again!

A flame with golden huey violently attacked Dante at the moment.

" Agghhhhh" Under the Excruciating pain, Dante let out a painful grunt.

I-i have to hang in here.

Dante slowly stood up and the moments from before resurfaced. Dante's body trembled violently, as the emotions were becoming more and more intense as time went on. Dante's body shook very violently from before.

A burst of emotions rushed on his mind like a tsunami, but it was stronger than before.

Dante's body wanted to stop, but his mind mind said otherwise!

He continued to struggle against the Tsunami of the intense emotions, but at the last moment his mind couldn't handle the stress just like his body.

Dante failed again!

Swish

This time, a crimson flame burnt Dante completely!

" Agghhhhh!!!! " Dante screamed in pain!

Suddenly, the scene shattered and Dante found himself on his room again.

Pah

Dante let out a spatfull of blood from his mouth! His soul had been injured greatly! He felt great weakness all over his body! It seemed as if he would collapse in any moment!

Without wasting any time, Dante crushed the milky white stone in front of him. The white swirl of energy entered his body in a split second and he felt the weakness in his body, disappearing.

I didn't manage to succeed after all. I still have 2 chances left, I can't afford to lose them too. I also have the entrance exam tomorrow...

It's evening already.. I can't afford to waste any more time. I have to succeed this time!

Dante's eyes shined with determination as he began the spiritual trial of the Ignifer Nexus once again!

The flame again completely engulfed Dante as he found himself in the same dimension as before.

This time Dante was calm. He wasn't stressed, fearful, or angry at his losses. He tried to suppress them as much as he can.

He slowly closed his eyes once again and commenced the trial. This time, his body shook very violently that was stronger from before!

The emotions were amplified from before as Dante relived those emotions again. This time, Dante didn't resist the emotions.

This time, Dante let the emotions enter his mind. He felt all those emotions but suppressed them as if they didn't existed. To Dante, these emotions were nothing compared to his goals. They are nothing but stepping stones for him.

Suddenly, a gigantic tsunami surfaced on his mind. This giant tsunami had all those moments regarding fear and anger that Dante felt in his entire life.

But Dante stood there. His body that was materialized in front of the Tsunami in his mind was struck by those intense emotions.

The corners of Dante mouth twitched. His body shook violently under the pressure of the tsunami. His mind began to break down.

But Dante didn't back down. He used all of his willpower to overcome those intense emotions.

He embraced those emotions as a part of him but maintained control over them. The emotions that looked alive struggled against Dante but to no avail.

He rejected these emotions. They were nothing to him. Nothing in front of his goals! If his mind was so weak to be influenced by these emotions, then what would be of his goals?

He is a mortal that was struggling against Mortality! He slowly teared apart those emotions with his bare hands as he stood above them.

He is free.

He is free from the shackles of fear and Anger that were lingering deep in his heart and mind.

He was an ordinary mortal from other world, but now he has started to break the boundaries of Mortality!

He is now going again the Will of Origin of this world! But to Dante, these things are nothing to him.

His only goal was to return to his previous world.

He is ready to do anything to achieve it.

Even if it means going against heavens!

Suddenly, the scene changed and Dante found himself outside his mind, in the dimension he was before.

The flames that were swirling violently were now calm than before. Dante soul suddenly took the form of his body.

He slowly raised his hand and the flames from outside rushed towards his body. They swirled around Dante and formed a robe on Dante's body.

Dante flicked his hand as an inferno of Crimson colour was conjured in front of him.

Dante's lips curled up to form a smile as the scene shattered and Dante found himself in the room again.
