Three siblings stand in front of their new home. They each stare at the huge old victorian style house not sure what to do or what their next step should be. Khillian with his long braids and musclar frame turns to his younger sister Khole and asks "are you sure this is the place?", "I'm positive, this place is burned into my memory" she replies as her long pink hair blows in the wind. As the older two marvel and hesitate to make the first move, Kenneth with his short ear length curly locks and chubby frame starts to approach the front door. As hes walking he turns to his sister and motions for her to follow. She looks at their older brother, sighs and walks towards the front door hesitantly. Before he begins to walk towards his siblings and new life khillian looks around, puts his hands in his pockets and, starts mumbling under his breath as he begins to walk forward. When Khillian reaches the front door mumbling Kenneth knocks on the door. As they wait for someone to open Khillian and, Kenneth begin to argue "Do we have to be here?" Khillian says with a very harsh tone "We dont have to be here, Khole and I do because we're under 18, you can go be depressed and broody somewhere else" Kenneth replies. "Do you two ever quit? Our grandparents died last week saving our lives, and our aunt has to take us in, the least you two can do is shut the hell up and act civil for a day". As she finishes her statement the door opens and there is their aunt Kendall with the most cheerful grin on her face. She greets each sibling with a kiss on the forhead and ushers them into the house. She waves her hand and blue flames appear making candles light up throughout the house. "Khillian, you big strong handsome young man. you look just like your father but those eyes, those piercing green eyes, those come from your mom. First door at the top of the stairs is your room". she rubs his left shoulder and goes over to Khole "The princess of the litter, compassionate little Khole. You dear are becoming such a lovely young woman. Your mother would be so proud". She turns her head to a old photo which is of herself and the sibling's mom as she begins to tear she turns back to Khole and says "The door all the way at the end of the hallway on the right is your room" she graciously smiles and walks over to Kenneth who is staring into his phone texting "now you sir, I see havent changed one bit. Always with your nose into something while your suppose to be paying attention". she starts off serious but lets out a huge chuckle afterwards and hugs the youngest sibling. kenneth holds her tight and begins to tear up at the loving embrace. As they seperate she stares at him and cups his cheeks in her hand "dont tell your brother or sister I said this but you look the most like your mother, when you hit the top of the stairs turn left and the second door next to Serenity's room is yours" she says. as kenneth begins to walk up the wooden stairs he turns around to his aunt and asks "where is serenity anyway?" "probably with that moody boyfriend of hers, now go make yourself at home, Tio Mal and I are preparing dinner" Kendall replies.

As Kenneth walks up the stairs so many old memories of visting with his parents for holidays start to flood his mind until he reaches a blank as if something is missing from his mind. He shakes it off and begins walking toward his room as he hears a huge yell coming from what he remembers aunt kendall saying would be Khole's room. Khillian runs out his room and looks at Kenneth who darts towards where his sister should be. Khillian tries to open the door first but cant as it seems to be locked. Kenneth gently pushes khillian and squints his eyes which forces the door open with his telekensis. When the door opens they see clothes flying everywhere from a closet. Khole peeks her head out and screams "check your rooms, we got new clothes and stuff". Both Kenneth and Khillian look at eachother grin and run to their respective rooms. As each sibling reacts loudly upstairs their aunt Kendall is now speaking with her husband Malachi downstairs.

Kendall: "Im guessing they liked the clothes and things i summoned for them"

Malachi: "We cant just spoil them and hope everything will be okay, the prophecy is coming and not only will they be thrust into a age old war but their lives are in danger"

Kendall: "Dont be such a worry wart, they have until both Khole and Kenneth are of age which is 4 years from now. we have 4 years to get them up to speed, train them the way they should and . . ."

Malachi: "Tell them the truth".

Kendall gives Malachi a piercing look and turns back to what she was doing. Malachi gets up from his seat and exits the room. Kendall appears to be crying with her head down. when she finally looks up, she looks up at the ceiling and says "Mom, dad, Kenn, help me protect these children from all evil, including themselves".

Two hours later and dinner is done. As Kendall calls for the siblings, their cousin Serenity walks through the house front door and yells "IM HOME!". Kennth comes running down the stairs giddy like a kid in a candy store. he runs staright for his cousin and embraces her. The sentiment is returned. excitedly she asks "when did you get in" "two hours ago" he replies. they both start walking towards the dining room. As they reach the dining room serentiy looks shocked

Serenity: "Whats all this for?"

Kendall: "For your cousins silly goose"

Serenity: "Mom, your scaring me with how cheerful you are. Stop drinking those emotion potions"

Khillian: "Emotion Potion?"

"Malachi: " A little soemthing your aunt created for when shes anxious and too emotional"

Kenneth: "I think she needs to share that with mr.brood over here" He points at khillian

suddenly a glass breaks and khole gets very uncomfortable as she doesnt know how to control her powers much due to her supressing her craft.

khole: "im sooooo sorry"

Malachi gets up to clean the broken glass.

Serenity: "Still havent gotten ahold of those powers i see"

Khole: "No offense but you know my stance on magic Ren"

Khillian gets up with his plate and walks out the room.

Kendall: "Khilly, where ya going ?"

Khillian continues to walk away without answering

Khole: "He doesnt understand why i hate magic so much"

Kenneth: "None of us do" as he looks at her with a very blank stare".

Everyone seems to get a little uneasy and continues to eat their food in silence as Malachi finishes cleaning up the glass. Meanwhile upstairs Khillian is eating but randomly gets a flashback of his childhood which turns into some sort of vision. He remembers a sunny day being extremely happy because his father just got home and as he got excited he noices trees dying and everything around him withering and burning. He shakes himself out of the flashback and goes towards the room window to clear his head. As he looks out he sees a figure in the distance semingly hiding between two trees. It seems to be a hooded man in all black. the man just stares at khillian's window. Khillian getting annoyed by the stranger staring opens the window to yell soemthing at him but as he looks to where the man is again after opening the window, hes gone. Khillian looks confused but closes the window very fast. He then turns around and notices a picture on the desk in his room. its a picture of him, his parents and his siblings about 6 years ago. he begins to tear up as he remembers the christmas the picture is from. He takes the picture from the desk and holds it close to him as he lays on his bed.

The next morning everything is still and quiet until a huge booms comes from downstairs. All three siblings rushs out their rooms and look at eachother. Khillian and Kenneth run downstairs to investigate as Khole retreats back into her room. They dont see anything out of the ordinary but hear scuffling ahead. They go into the living room and see Serentiy being picked up and then thrown across the room by a huge hulking man with hooves for hands and two large horns on each corner of the top of his head. "DEMON!" screams Kenneth. Khillian sprints into action as Kenneth goes to check on Serenity. Khillian squares up with the muscular beast and the two start to trade blows until the beast starts to over power Khillian. The beats smacks Khillian with so much force he flies across the room the same way serenity did. Kenneth seeing this gets up and squints his eyes using his telekensis. The beast flies back into the wall. Khillian then gets up and runs towards the beast and places his hand on the monster's forhead using his power to drain the energy and life force from the beast. The monster begins to shake as if it is having a seizure and eventually explodes. Serenity then hops up and looks at her cousins saying "thank you, only god knows what would have happened if you two wouldnt have come to my rescue" Kenneth smiles but Khillian doesnt look too happy saying "I thought we were safe here". "you are" she replies seemingly confused. "Last week we lost the closest thing we knew as parents, we had to leave our home becasue of this stuff. I love magic but i dont wanna fight for my life at every turn". Serenity puts her head down seemily sad now as kenneth jumps in "cool down doofus, its not like she conjured him to attack us". Khillian looks at kenneth and storms off grabbing his coat and leaving outside. Serenity tries chasing behind him as Kenneth stops her saying "he always does this, let him cool off" Khole then comes walking down the stairs asking "everything okay?" Kenneth looks at her seemingly dissapointed, shakes his head and walks away towards the kitchen. Serenity turns to her cousin and shrungs her shoulders "Boys". Serenity then motions for Khole to come sit with her on the nearby couch. As they sit Serenity looks as if shes thinking of a way to say something when Khole chimes in for her to just spit it out.

Serenity: "why are you afraid of magic?"

Khole starts to fidget with her hands and looks at her cosuin and sighs.

Khole:" Im not scared of magic, I hate it".

Serenity: "But Why?".

Khole:"Isnt it obvious, look at my brothers, look what its done to our family, my mother is dead, my father is missing, our grandparents died trying to protect us from god knows what and now were here and I know we are still in danger, i can feel it and i cant shake it because its part of who I am but how can I be who I am if part of what I am has killed everything I love" Khole begins to tear up. Serenity grabs her and hugs her tightly.

Serenity: "I cant imagine the void you feel inside, or the hurt that will never go away. One thing i've learned about magic is that yes, it is scary but it's also fun, liberating and come on we're bad ass chicks with super powers" they both chuckle while Serenity keeps talking. "I'm gunna be very blunt, I wasnt home yesterday because I needed a break from it all. You guys actually have it lucky, everyone has been trying to protect you and guard you from whats to come while me, i'm just in the thick of it and to be honest today I seen first hand, me alone, i'm no match for the danger you guys have coming". Khole looks worried. "but you wanna know what else i noticed? I noticed when it came down to it, your brothers not only stood together but they fought together to save me and, not only that they were successful! You have so much power inside you and your holding it all in. Let it out and be free Khole, i'm here, my mom is here and so is my dad.

Khole interrupts her.

Khole:" and thats my problem and fear, how many more people will die because they are trying to protect us, why wont anyone tell us the truth about this danger, why us and, where the hell is my father?!".

Serentiy looks down and says "what the hell, whats the worst that can happen". she then grabs Khole's hands and leads her to the house's basment door.

Serenity: "behind this door, holds your truth but you cant tell either of your brothers about this especially Khillian or mr.brood as Kenneth calls him because my parents would kill me. I know your probably nowhere near ready for the truth but when you are know its here and remember i only told you, not your brothers, they will find out when the time is right". Serenity then walks away leaving khole to make a choice whether to go downstairs or wait. After minutes of thinking to herself she reaches for the doorknob when kenneth calls to her. She remembers what serentiy told her and turns away to see what it is her brother is calling her for even though she feels as if something is pulling her towards the door but she shakes off the feeling and continues to find her younger brother.
