Khole walks into the kitchen where she sees Kenneth sitting at the table looking into a very large old looking book. "Whats that?" she says. Kennth barely picks up his head because he's so focused into what he's reading. "Our family's grimoire, there are spells and potions in here for everything. and a family tree but oddly were not on it, it ends with mom and dad and theres 3 questions marks where our names should be" he replies. Khole sits down in a chair next to him to take a look at the book with him. "where did you find this?" she aske. "It was on a book shelf in the living room." he replies as they turn the pages. Khole stops Kenneth from flipping the pages noticing a familiar handwriting "Mom" she says in low tone. "Mom? what about her?" Kenneth replies. "This is her handwriting, she wrote this" Khole says as she passes her fingers across the letters on the page. Khole then gets up and starts to walk out of the kitchen towards the front door.

Kenneth: "where are you going?"

Khole: "to go find Khillian."

Kenneth: "Why?"

Khole: "I think its time i face my fears" she continues walking as she grabs her coat. Kenneth trailing behind her says "meaning what exacty?"

Khole: "Meaning i want to embrace this whole magic thing. There is so much none of us know and I think together we can all learn and become greater at this, plus I dont want to end up like mom, or grandpa and grandma".

Kenneth: "Too soon Ko Ko".

Khole: "No, its not. this is the reality we all have to face and yes you're very young but not stupid and know more about magic than I do. . . something is coming after us if you havent noticed and today I stood upstairs and retreated while you ran downstairs. We're stronger together. Kennth begins to interrupt her "but". "But nothing, i know you two are always at odds, I know Khillian can sometimes be aggressive with his words especially towards you and your secret." Kenneth's eyes get wide and his cheeks turn bright red "what secret?" "Boy, im your older sister, I love you to death and i know dad makes you feel as if you cant say it out loud but its okay, I know your gay." kenneth starts to pace back and forth but eventually looks at his sister and says "Thank you . . now lets go find mr. brood . . . I mean Khillian." he hugs her, grabs his coat and the two walk out the front door to find Khillian sitting right there on the porch. He looks up at his siblings seemingly angry. Khole goes to sit next to him but he moves over away from her. Kennth rolls his eyes and then corners him inbetween them by sitting on the opposite end. Khillian looks at them both weirdly not knowing whats going on. Kenneth makes a silly face at him and hugs him "I love you." Khillian gets up and looks at his younger brother and says with a demanding tone "Stop the gay shit!" Kenneth looks at Khole as tears form in his eyes "see, we came out here to comfort you and to try to start bonding as all of this we're going through is crazy BUT instead of you embracing your little brother for who he is as hes showing you love, you do THIS!" Kenneth gets up with the tears coming down his face and looks Khillian right in the eyes as he continues his statement "fuck you, fuck you and everything you stand for. As a older brother you suck and i honestly wish it was me that died instead of everyone else cause it seems that would make you happy" he runs back inside slamming the door behind him. Khole has her head in her hands in disbelief. she then stands up and looks at Khillian.

Khillian: "did you guys really come out here to comfort me?"

Khole: "ofcourse we did, we both love you. Well atleast I do as of now. I dont think he will ever forgive you for that one. He just admitted to me he's gay and was happy about it and you crushed his feelings. you and dad treat that kid as if being gay is the worst thing in the world. If you havent noticed there are people trying to kill us and our family, we have to stick together or else were dead too. how would you feel if he died? or if something happened to me?"

Khillian:"I would feel horrible, im hard on him because hes too soft."

Khole: "your hard on him because you dont like hes gay, stop telling yourself lies. thats your little brother, our baby brother, what would mom say to you if she heard what you just said to him?" Khillian stays quiet with his head down not knowing what to say.

Khole: "Exactly, you are going to be the reason he starts to hate you." she then walks back inside to try to calm kenneth down.

Khillian feels bad and starts to tear up as he thinks about everything they have been through. when he picks his head up he sees the hooded man again in the distance between the same two trees but this time the man has a green flame in his hand. Khillian starts to walk towards the hooded figure but as he gets closer the figure begins to fade. He then halts his steps as he hears a raspy, distorted voice in his head "The Prophecy of 3." he looks around but sees noone, he then turns his attention back to the figure but this time the green flame that was once in the man's hand is now coming towards him. Khillian is frozen in place and cant move. the green flame stops directly in front of him as the voice calls out to him again saying "open your hand" he doesnt hesitate for some reason as the presence feels familiar and does as he's asked. When he opens his hand the figure appears right next to him and takes the hood off. Khillian eyes widen as he sees his father's face. He tries to talk but cant as his hands remain open his father then begins to speak "I dont have much time, I need you to tell your sister and brother I love them and I also need you guys to come find me. the green flame in front of you is now yours, you dont understand now but when the time is right you will know how to use it. Trust yourself and be easy on your brother. I'm sorry i havent seen you guys in so long i love y . . ." before he can finish his sentence he vanishes and the green flame goes into khillian's chest and his heart glows green. The hold that was on his body has now lifted and he falls to the ground out of breath. As he regains his breath he runs back into the house looking for his siblings. He finds them in Kenneth's room. Both Kenneth and Khole look up at him from Kenneth's bed. Khillian has a huge smile on his face and says "DAD! i just seen dad." both Kenneth and Khole get up from their seats and before they can say anything, Khillian hugs Kenneth tighty saying "im sorry for everything ive ever said, i know im a hard ass but i love you, i dont wish you were dead and it would honestly hurt me if anything did happen to you . . . I wouldnt be able to forgive myself" as they seperate Kenneth punches him hard in his right arm "asshole" he says. Khillian laughs saying "now that were on the same page, dad gave me very specific instructions. He wants us to go find him and he gave me this green flame saying i would know what to do with it when the time is right. he also said soemthing about the prophecy of 3 and that he loves us all." Khole looks worried and says "what if it wasnt really him?"

Khillian: "it was, his presence alone just felt familiar and he seems like he was hiding from something or someone, we have to save him. I know you dont really have the best opinion of him due to how he left us but i dont think he just left the way you think Khole. I seen him yesterday too but i didnt know who he was. He appears to me through those trees everytime" Khillian is pointing at the trees as serenity walks in.

Serenity: "The trees of freedom, why you pointing at those?"

Kenneth: "Trees of freedom?"

Serenity:" Yea those two treess are older than us all combined. They're kind of a way for magical beings to communicate and travel here from the other relam."

Khole: "other realm?"

Khillian: "magical realm silly"

Kenneth: "so dad is there, hes in the magical realm!" kenneth says excitedly. Serenity looks confsed and asks "what did i miss?"

Khole: "a lot, apparently my dad has been showing himself to khillian through those trees since we got here. He wants us to come find him and gave khillian some type of green flame."

Serenity's eyes widen and she starts to shuffle through books at the nearby bookshelf in the hallway. "what you looking for?" Khillian askes. she then pulls out a very thin book that looks like it has 5-10 pages the most. "this" she replies. on the front of the book is a picture of a green flame she hands it to khillian who grabs it and opens it quickly serenity then looks at Khole and askes "did you go to the basement yet?" Khole looks around at her sibligs and says "no." Serenity then runs down the stairs screaming "well, come on!". the siblings look at eachother and run behind her. She stops in front of the door and gestures for one of them to open it.

Khole: "Why dont you open it ren?"

Serenity: "Because it has to be one of you"

Khillian: "huh?"

Serenity: "Just trust me." kenneth then sucks his teeth and grabs the doorknob. he feels a rush come over him and it knocks him on his butt. When each sibling touches him to make sure he's okay, they glow green.

Kennth: "whats going on?"

Serenity: "The prophecy of 3" khillian's eyes get wide and says "dad said that"

the basment door swings open slowly and Khillian's heart glows green. everyone looks in amazement as to what is happening. Kenneth gets up and looks down the stairs and says "its dark"

Khole: "what isnt in our lives." as she pushes him down the stairs so they can all find out what it is they need to see.

as they walk down the stairs candles light up with green flames and as they do Khillians heart glows brighter until they reach the bottom which holds a chest and a large book that resembles the one kenneth and khole were looking at earlier. It has no words on the front but is marked with a 3. Khillian's heart stops glowing as the glow from his heart transfers into the 3 on the cover. All three siblings look shocked with mouths open saying "whoa". The book then opens by itself and the pages begin to turn. It lands on a blank page. Everyone looks shocked except for serenity. she walks closer to the book.

All three siblings get close to the book. Kennth, giddily touches the book first. Khillian follows not long after. Khole is figeting seeminly unsure

Kenneth: "what's wrong?"

Khole: "I dont know, whatever is on that page will kickstart our journey. I'm scared and in no rush to help a father who abandoned us and couldve been protecting us this whole time."

Khillian reaches out with his free hand and smiles at his little sister "We have eachother, we will get through this."

Kennth: "we deserve answers."

Khole reaches out and finally touches the book. It glows and starts to vibrate, then everything stops and time seemingly has frozen. Everything and everyone is frozen besides the siblings. They all look around each with different expressions.

Khillian is on guard as if he is waiting to be attacked. Khole is standing still looking around seemingly timid and Kenneth is waving his hand in front of Serenity's face to confirm she is also frozen. The room then begins to shake. The entire book starts to glow as it slams shut and shoots out a bright yellow beam which shoots around the room bouncing on the walls until it lands directly in the center of the siblings. It starts to form into shape and then takes form into a woman the siblings all recognize as their mom. She begins to speak

Elena: "my darlings, if you are seeing this. I have sadly passed on and your dad has most likely already started his quest. I had a vision all this would happen so i'm here to warn you and to give you the tools you need to fight a war older than life itself. There is a chest in the corner, open it" as she continues to speak the siblings open the chest and each bring out something they instinctively feel belongs to them."Inside the chest are three weapons. Khillian . . .the sword of truth, this will lead you to the truth of your past you know is erased. Khole the sais of bravery. My sweet girl, your so much stronger than you know. Stop holding yourself back and let go. My baby boy kenny, the chakram of balance. When your mind gets foggy, this will silence the noise and bring you back to you. My children . . .Save your father and avenge your grandparents." She smiles at her children and then disappears. everything goes back to normal as the siblings stand there all sobbing and holding eachother.

serenity: "did . .i . .miss something ?"

Its now night time and the siblings are all still in the basement. Malachi has already gotten home but hasnt told anyone. He is in the attic seemingly brewing a potion. As hes throwing ingrediants into the cauldron he hears a knock on the door. As he gets up to go open it he hears serenity already there. Its Lance, her boyfriend. He listens to their conversation. We now see serenity and her boyfriend speaking at the front door.

Lance: "I miss you, let me in"

Serenity:" Lance, I told you im having a family emergency."

lance:" Is you mom and dad okay ?"

serenity: "yes, but my cousins need me."

Lance gets excited. A little too excited as Serenity just looks on nervously trying to find a way for him to leave as he doesnt know about magic. Malachi comes downstairs asking serenity if everything is okay. She says yes. Malachi then proceeds to ask lance to leave. He nods and walks away. As serenity closes the door lance stops walking and turns around towards the house back door. Back inside Malachi begins to ask Serenity about what she meant by her cousins needing her.

Serenity begins to speak very fast :" finding their dad. he appeared to them and they opened a book and their mom came out of it from a blocked page. now they have their weapons and they are getting ready to go kick some demon ass.

Malachi chuckles and ask serenity to lead her to her cosuins. They walk towards and then downstairs to the basement. As they walk down the stairs Lance creeps into the house. His eyes glow black and he begins to conjure a knife in one hand, a fireball in the other. he proceeds towards to enter the house looking around to see where everyone is.

Malachi is now speaking with the siblings telling them he will train them with combat, how to use their weapons and indivuaslly on how to strenghten and properly use their powers. He tells them this will take atleast a few weeks. Khillian tries to protest but Malachi reminds them that they cannot save their dad without strengh, knowledge and the correct use of their powers. The siblings all agree and Malachi gives them a schedule for the next two weeks for practice. Ant kendall then comes downstairs looks around and jolts back upstairs.

Khole: "is she okay?"

Serenity: "emotion potion"

Everyone chuckles and proceeds to go upstairs.

Once upstairs Malachi kisses kendall who is now very giddy thanks to the potion in her hand. she tells everyone shes is going to order pizza tonight and quickly walks to her room.

Malachi:" dont mind her, when she musters up some courage, she'll teach you guys some real cool potions" he smiles at everyone and walks away to the room. Serenity is now talking to the siblings as Lance walks into the living room where they are. He still has the knife and fireball in each of his hands.

Lance:" hate to break up your little family reunion but i think its time you all learn the truth"

serenity jolts up at the sight of lance "Lance, whats going on ?"

He throws the fireball at her but malachi jumps in front of her taking the blow being thrown across the room hitting the wall. Serenity now open to be attacked again, Lance throws the knife at her but it passes through her as she uses her powers to phase through things. Lance frustrated tips over the coach in front of him to get to her. Khole then tries to stop him, using her powers to control matter by holding out her hand. She tries to stop him from moving but only slows him down because he's too strong. Kenneth then squints using his telekensis to send him flying across the room. Lance gets up and throws two fire balls. Kenneth and Khole dodge them. Malachi and Kendall come running into the living room and as they try to spring into action, Serenity motions for them to not do so saying "I got this"

serenity eyes lance sizing him up. Lance forms two fireballs once again and throws them both at Serenity. She dodges the first one but the second one clips her shoulder. She falls back and Lance tries to get on top of her she kicks him staright in the balls and as he hits the floor in pain she kicks him again in the head she gets on top of him and begins to punch him in the face. He blocks the fourth hit and sends her flying backwards off of him. As he stands up he forms a knife in both of his hands. He gives her a evil grin but she doesnt look fazed at all. He lunges forward with the knife and she dodges it swiftly. He begins to charge with the second she side steps him and kicks one of the knives out of his hand. They size eachother up. He lunges forward again but she falls backwards purposely using his own weight to throw him over her. She stands up waiting for him to get up and when he does she jumps towards him using her powers to phase through things to go right into him, he then begins to yell telling her to get out. He then begins to spiral as flames form around him until he eventually explodes and Serenity jumps out.

Kenneth:"cooooooool" in an amazed slow tone.

Serenity is breathing heavy. Her mother. Kendall runs into the kitchen. Malachi hugs her tightly praising her. Kendall comes running back in with a potion. Serenity drinks it and it heals all her wounds. Khillian then jolts up from the corner he was slumped in with his hands up ready to fight. everyone looks at hima nd begins to laugh.

Each sibling has unique power passed down to them by family members before them. Khillian as the oldest has more control as he practices magic more often than the others. He has the power of rengeneration meaning he can heal himself at will, he can mimic someones power temporarily when he touches them and can also drain soemone lifeforce and energy in that same touch. Khole can control matter on a moleculer level, her powers are limitless while Kenneth has the power of telekenesis. Serenity gets her power to phase through things from her father. Ant Kendall has the same powers as Khole but more advanced.

After everyone finishes cleaning up and getting the house back in order. Malachi makes everyone sit in the living room as he and Kendall stand before them.

Malachi: "today was a perfect example of what your fighting can be like.Training will be hard I wont be easy on any of you. All of you have a lot of work to do as the next few weeks will test you both physically and mentally." Thankfully this is summer and theres no school, right honey."

Kendall: " right, I will teach you potions and safety. Also the dos and donts of the magical realm. I know this all either scary or exciting and maybe both but we need you guys to be focused and serious, this is not a game. This is only the beginig of a lifetime of danger but it's also liberating, freeing and worth it. I've watched you all grow and i know your mother is proud. Be strong, be fearless, be you" she looks directly at Kenneth. Khole grabs his hand and squeezes it. Serenity also hugs him and Khillian gives him a approving knod. He tears up. They all embrace and dispurce to their rooms. Over the next days and coming weeks the siblings train hard. Khole gains so much confidence during this process. She also learns so much about her powers and what she can do with them. Kenneth learns to also control his powers through his hands and not only his eyes. He can also send out waves of telekentic energy from his body in a circle around him in case he is cornered or trapped between enemies. Khillian learns how to harness his powers indivually meaning now when he touches people he can choose between wanting to drain his victim's energy and their powers. His regeneration powers are also tested basically leaving him unkillable unless someone cuts off his head. One day after training Malachi sits khillian down to tell him that he must undergo one last training as he needs to go into the sword of truth his mother bestowed upon him to know why this is all happening. Khillian seems confused as to what Malachi is telling him but malachi reassures him it is nothing he should fear and should only be done when he is ready. Khillian askes to give him some time to think as he needs time to process.

Another week goes by and Khillian finally gains the courage to ask Malachi one day on how to go into the sword. Malachi tells him his aunt will help him as he needs a potion to do so. 5 minutes later Khillian finds his aunt in the attic where she usually makes and stores her potions. Khillian hesistantly walks over to her taking his time to speak up. She eventually notices him and gets startled as he has never been one to be light footed or hesistant to speak. she notices he looks a bit nervous to speak so she starts the conversation.

Kendall: "hey honey, everything okay? you look as if your in some sort of trouble."

Khillian puts his head down and says: " im not in any trouble but i need your help with a potion to get into my sword."

Kendall now begins to get fidgetty and says:"oh, give me a second." she goes to the back of the attic where theres a bunch of shelves with little potions viles all filled and labeled. she goes to a shelf all the way to the right and grabs a pink potion. she startes at it for about a minute and then brings it to khillian. As he grabs it she cusps his right cheek in her head and says "no matter what you find out, remember, you are loved." Khillian nods his head yes and askes how to use the potion he was just given. His aunt tells him to drink half of it and then put it in his pocket as he will need the other half to come back once hes found out his truth. Khillian thanks her while they hug. She holds him tightly that he has to remind her to let go, he smiles at her then goes to the basement. He looks at the sword and then stares at the potion. he repeats this a couple times. He wonders what truth he might face and why it has been hidden from him. He opens the potion vile and then drinks half as he was instructed. He puts the rest of the potion in his pocket. he starts to feel woozy and unsteady. As he tries to find his balance he drops the sword which begins to glow pink like the potion. He falls to the ground unconscious and and is sucked into the sword which vibrates upon his entrance. It then stops glowing hitting the floor motionless. Malachi enters the basment from the stairs, picking up the sword and saying "May strength and faith be with you". He then walks up the stairs and exits the basment closing the door behind him.
