Ch#06 land of Sand and Ruin

Pixie started to circle around jack appearing quite ashamed

“Oh well master, you know we were talking about your memories and I forgot… you can understand right” said pixie while playing with her fingers and appearing quite pitiful.

Jack sighed upon seeing pixie acting all sorry and adorable. He then shrugged his shoulders helpless to do anything.

“Alright you little devil stop pretending and start talking” said jack putting a stern face.

“Oh, alright… Master you might have guessed that you are a bit unique” said pixie as all her previous mischievousness disappeared from her. Jack fell silent for a moment after hearing pixies inquiry.

“Yea even I can guess that much…which normal person would have swords and dragons coming out of them” said jack with a shrug of his shoulders.

Pixie looked at jack a bit stunned… hmmm master seems like he didn’t see the deal between him and that human that occurred  in the space vortex in those memories, hmm strange… well none of my business anyway thought pixie

“Well as you are unique there are some dormant powers, abilities hidden within your body, specifically in your bloodline” said pixie

Jack felt smug as he puffed his chest out and looked at his right hand… it went into here thought jack “so you are saying that those things happened to me was not because of the pendant but it was in me all along and can I use them” asked jack enthusiastically.

Pixie looking at jack smirked “Yes and no, although those things are in your body but they are currently sealed you cannot use them, although with the help of the pendant you unsealed some of the power but what you unlocked is an extremely tiny portion of it ” said pixie waking jack from his land of dreams.

Jack felt as if someone has thrown a bucket of cold water on him as he stood there stunned

“What do you mean? it is in me, it made me go through all that pain, and now you are saying that I can’t use them” asked jack as he started to lose his temper.

Pixie looked at jack then hurriedly replied “no, no, no it’s not like you can’t use them, it’s just that you are not strong enough”

Jack grunted as he heard pixies reply sh*t, again with that not strong enough thing thought jack

“well then miss pixie, the thing you are saying is that in my first awakening I unlocked some kind of super ability but I am pathetically weak to use them, am I right” asked jack as black lines started to appear on his forehead his expression showed the epitome of irritation.

Pixie started to sweat as she looked at jack who was obviously annoyed

“ahm… yes, yes, you are absolutely right master” said pixie as her expression faltered, as tears began to well up in her eyes.

Hmmm calm down jack calm down, it’s not like if its pixies fault. The first thing I have to do is evolve and that will happen a week from now so let’s go out and look around a bit also there is that old man thought jack

“Alright pixie you don’t have to cry, it is my fault I shouldn’t have got angry at you” consoled jack as he rubbed pixies head

Pixie made hyun hyun sound like a cat as she closed her eyes letting jack ruffle her hair “I wasn’t crying you know” said pixie in an adorably while pouting.

Jack felt stunned as he looked at the tiny beauty “ok my little fairy, now that I know my origins lets go out of this damned room I’m sick of seeing all this dust and broken walls ” said jack as he picked pixie and putted her on his head while pocketing the pendant as went towards the door.

While making his way towards the door jack caught a glimpse of himself in a shattered glass he was about 3’9 he had dark blue hair and a pair of blue eyes with a golden shade that could mesmerize anyone who stared at his eyes making them unable to look away, he had a normal built with broad shoulders. His facial features were flawless as he looked like a son of a noble.

I changed a lot huh, from a 21 year old young man to an 11 year old brat, but I look quite handsome even those playboys from those noble families would feel ashamed of their appearances while comparing with mine thought jack as he inwardly snickered.

jack opened the door the first thing he felt was the piercing sun light as it pierced his eyes, jack lifted his hands to cover his eyes as he walked out, as his vision got clear what he saw made him immensely shocked

What he saw was aged, ruined buildings. Scraps of metals here and there and Sand covering everything as hot wind blew on his face. It was a land of sand without a single speck of vegetation.

When he looked up he was greeted with a majestic red sky which looked as if had been dyed with blood with two majestically shining suns, some occasional red clouds could be seen as well.

Damn when that old man Han said that it was a war planet I didn’t think it would be this bad thought jack as his expression turned bitter.

When jack was contemplating at how to survive at this new land an aged voice woke him up from his trance.

“Hey kid you finally came out huh… all the boys are over there” said old man Han as he pointed towards the east.

Jack could see that some people were gathered at that direction some distance away, some were playing and some were sitting and others seemed to work. It looked like a small town as some civilization could be seen.

Old man Han saw jack gazing at the distant village

“Well brat that is our home, called the black vultures village” said old man Han pride surfaced his face

Black vultures village huh… that place will be the start my journey thought jack as his eyes flashed with determination and he walked forward making his way in this ruined world.
