I tried swimming over to shore....but intense pain ran through my body....I looked back and saw that one of my little wings is bent the wrong way...did it break?

I forced myself to reach the shore...as I was still in the middle of this river...dont want it carrying me god knows where.

I stepped out of the river....I first looked at my wing...damn it I think it's really broken....while looking at my wing I also saw my scales....well let's just say they look different.

My scales are quite different from the elders and my mothers....they are black with strange red patterns all over....guess this is how a chaos dragon looks huh?

I took a glance at the river,  I also wanted to see my head as it was impossible to see without some mirror or in this case....a river.

I walked over to the clear water that hasn't been muddied by me when I was walking out of it....wow now I really look like a monster...heh

Just like on my body dark scales covered with strange red patterns..my horns are small...well considering that I just hatched they might be rather  big...maybe I still don't know how other just hatched dragons look like...tho I don't care that much my eyes...are different...and when I say different I mean different colour my left eye is red and the other one is black... whats with the red and black?

Anyway, what am I supposed to do now...."growl!!"...well it seems I have my answer thanks to my stomach....I did just hatch after all.

But there is one tiny problem....what do dragons eat?

"Hmm" well considering all the stories about dragons....I would say meat I guess....I glance back at my image in the water and open my mouth...sharp...really sharp teeth....meat it is.

I look at the forest in front of me...guess I need to go over there if I wish to fill my belly..."sigh"...will I be alright?

I entered the forest with some difficulties...mainly because of my wing...it hurts so much...well it is one of my limbs now.

Trying my best to ignore the pain the broken wing is giving me I walk through the forest....but I see nothing..."growl!!"...I know you are hungry....."sigh".

I kept walking around the forest and....yeah I got lost....ah damn...why is this forest so thick.

While I was cursing inside my mind...I heard noises just in front of me behind a large tree.

I moved closer and peeked out my head slowly and looked at the....rabbit?

Yeah, I am looking at a rabbit but.....are rabbits supposed to have a giant horn on their heads?

That thing looks dangerous....maybe it's better to eat some grass...yeah let's do that.

I started backing away slowly...but luck has never been on my side has it...I stepped on a few branches that attracted the rabbits attention "crap"

The rabbit turned around and faced me with a rather menacing glare...well I don't blame him...he just saw a hungry dragon.

The rabbit jumped towards me....he is really fast...and of course he wanted to impale me with his giant horn...I managed to avoid him.

It didn't take long for the rabbit to launch another attack at me...but this time, it was different...faster...I ducked with my whole body..he flew over me and hit the tree behind me.

That was scary...I look at the rabbit behind me and find him stuck....his horn is stuck inside a tree....lucky me.

I move closer to the rabbit...."sorry but I need to survive in this world" I mutter as I open my mouth and take a deep bite at the rabbit..."squeak!" he let out a cry...but I don't care....I need to eat.

It didn't take long for me to eat him whole and...it was rather enjoyable...at least, I found something to eat in this forest...guess I won't be sleeping hungry.
