I awoke to the sound of a gentle voice calling my name and the feeling of soft hands rubbing my back, I grumbled and rose my face from my pillow and looked up to see my mother smiling down at me , I could only smile back at her as she wished me good morning and told me to get up and prepare for school.
I took my time getting up only to sit on the side of the bed for the next ten minutes, when I felt that I had properly woken up I made my way to my bath and showered, washed my hair and brushed my teeth, when I was finished I rubbed lotion on my skin and then headed back to my room as I dried my hair, I looked to my bed to see it had already been made and my uniform was laying neatly on it, i walked past my bed and made it to my vanity so I could style my hair and then moved on to getting dressed.
I buttoned my outer jacket and stood in the mirror looking myself over, I looked well dressed in my black and red uniform, the jacket and pants were black, along with my school shirt, the sleeves and collar for my jacket were all trimmed in red, with the red insignia for the school on my jacket pocket, my tie was red, also carrying an insignia to represent the grade I was in, my black shoes were neatly waxed and ready for wearing, I would like I was heading out to work if it wasn't for the insignia.
I smiled to myself and headed out my room and down to the kitchen where I was greeted by my mother and the servants, along with my head guard, I was finished eating within a few minutes and kissed my mother on her cheek before heading outside where my car was waiting to take me to school, it was a half an hours drive from my mothers mansion to the capital where the school was located along with the Palace a place I hadn't seen the inside of since I was five.
It was clear to say that my mother the king's third wife didn't live with him, same goes for all the other wives and their children, aside from the first born Prince and Princess along with the Queen. I didn't know my other siblings and mother's I didn't even know my father, Only knew what he looked like because he was always seen in the public eye, I had asked my mother why it was this way and she said it was for our protection, I never understood what she meant, so I decided not to think about it, I was simply the son of a mother that would give her life for me and a father who couldn't care less.

We pulled up to the school, and I waited for the car to pull into the entrance and come to a stop before getting out, I couldn't help but smile at the sight before me, my best friend Daiki Ogawa the son of a Governor who I had known since I was two stood there waiting for me, along with the most beautiful woman in the world, only second to my mother, Miu Mori, the girl who had been betrothed to me on my second birthday and we had been together ever since, I loved her with all my heart and couldn't wait for the day of our wedding which was set for after our graduation.
She seemed to almost bounce over to me with her long brown hair flowing in the wind, her light brown eyes shinning in the sun light, she hugged me and I placed a kiss on her forehead, her soft skin felt wonderful against my lips, I wanted to kiss her to see how her lips would feel, but I was forbidden to do it until the day of our wedding and for her I would definitely wait, no matter how painful it was.
Daiki walked over and threw his arm over my shoulder as Miu held on to my other hand and we made our way into the school, aside from the two of them, few teachers and the people assigned to protect me, no one here knew I was the third prince, but none the less I was still popular, because of my looks and my grade as the top scorer in the country when it came to the high school level and also of course because of the company I kept, everyone knew who Daiki was because he was the only son to be born to the Governor out of the seven children he had and everyone knew who Miu was because she was a daughter of the high priestess but they couldn't really understand our connection, but it made my life better so it wasn't a bother.
