Jade Groove City
"Why!? Why!? WHY!?" Adel shouted, his voice echoing through his small apartment.
"Are those Ego Masters really insane?" he muttered to himself, moving frantically. "How could they make me bring a Cain into the Tower!? Do they want me to be killed?"
He shoved clothes and belongings into a bag, his heart was racing. "I already expected something was wrong when the guy they brought in had amethyst eyes, but I didn't expect him to be a Cain. I need to leave before the Order of Lunar Moon finds me. Those guys will never believe me, even if I tell the truth."
As he continued to pack, Adel felt a gentle poke on his back.
He spun around, startled.
"Hi..." a soft voice greeted him, and saw a young girl fidgeting nervously behind him.
She had long, dark purple messy hair, a dark-colored dress with intricate designs and frills, long dark leggings, and black heels. A small black hat sat atop her head. Her most noticeable feature, however, was her amethyst eyes that was commonly found among the Descendants of Cain.
"Umm... Can you tell me about the Cain you're talking about?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. She shifted from foot to foot, her fingers playing with the hem of her dress.
"A C-Cainnn!?" Adel's voice trembled as he noticed the amethyst eyes of the young girl. Panic surged through him, making his heart race.
He tried to step back, desperate to put some distance between them. However, his frantic movements made him lose his balance, and he fell backward onto the floor, a look of sheer terror appeared on his face.
Adel's breath came in rapid, shallow gasps as he scrambled to push himself away from her. "Please...Don't kill me...." he pleaded, his eyes wide with fear. His mind and heart raced.
The young girl slowly moved closer to Adel.
Every step she makes, her shadow pulses like a wave that hits Adel's body.
And, every time she moved closer, the more intense Adel's fear became.
When the young girl is just one step away from Adel, Adel's movement suddenly stops.
Bloods flowed out from his seven orifices before his body collapsed in the floor.
"W-what happened!? Why did he die?"
The young girl's voice trembled with shock and confusion as she stared at Adel's lifeless body to the floor
Her hands shook as she clutch the fabric for her dress, her eyes wide with panic.
"I-I didn't mean for this to happen," she stammered, her breaths coming in quick, shallow gasps. " I'm just curious about the Cain he's talking about because I felt like my brothers and sisters were doing something fun without me..."

Tower of Babel.
After talking about the engraving, they continue walking through the hallway with heavy steps amidst the intense stare of the people around them.
After a minute or so of walking and turning, they reached a circular platform with railings on the side.
"What's that?" Seeing the unfamiliar infrastructure., Noah couldn't help but ask.
"That's a lift," Sol explained. "It will take us to the 50th floor, where the library is."
"But how?" Noah scratched his head, clearly still confused.
Sol chuckled and gestured toward the lift. "Let's go first. You'll see."
They stepped onto the platform, and Sol pressed a button on the control panel. The lift hummed to life as the gears started rotating, and Noah felt a slight lurch as they began to ascend.
"It's a bit different from what you're used to, right?" Sol said, noticing Noah's amazement."Yeah, definitely," Noah replied, gripping the railing tightly as the lift smoothly ascended through the tower.
As they rose higher, the view outside the lift became more impressive. Noah could see the intricate architecture of the tower and it's interior. It was a sight that filled him with a mix of awe and apprehension.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Still finding his footing properly, the lift continued to ascend for another 20 minutes before stopping to the 50th Floor.
Upon reaching the 50th floor, a dark void greeted their sight. It was a place where there seemed to be nothing—just an expanse of inky blackness stretching out in all directions.
Noah stepped off the lift cautiously, his eyes straining to adjust to the lack of light. "Is this the library?" he asked, his voice echoing slightly in the empty space.
"Yes," Sol replied, his tone calm and assured. "The Great Library. It's not what you'd expect, but it's here."
Noah blinked, trying to make sense of the emptiness. "I don't see any books or shelves. How does it work?"
Sol smiled and gestured for Noah to look at the top. "Look."
Turning his gaze above, Noah saw a countless ball of light floating and glistening in the void atop of them.
He probed further and noticed that those are actually books protected by thin membranes of light.
"A newcomer?"
Suddenly, a voice appeared and a figure materialized before them. A tall, ethereal being with flowing robe and eyes that shows the image of cosmo.
"Yeah, but we need the Great Librarian's help," Sol responded, stepping forward.
"Then, follow me." With a wave of it's hand, the space distorted and the surrounding quickly changes.
In the blink of an eye, Noah and Sol found themselves in an office room and noticed that the ethereal being was gone.
The room was lined with shelves filled with books and scrolls. A large wooden desk sat in the center, cluttered with papers, quills, and strange artifacts. The walls were adorned with maps and charts, some depicting constellations and other ancient lands.
"Welcome." A voice appeared. Noah and Sol turned to look at the source of the voice, and they saw a little girl presumably 7-8 years old sitting in chair and writing something in wooden desk.
"A kid?" Noah blurted out, surprised.
"I'm not." The same voice appeared again. When they turned to their sides, they noticed a middle aged woman standing beside them, wearing a golden robe.
Her hair was pitch-black like a void and flows freely.
They turned to look at the little girl at the wooden desk, but noticed that she's gone.
"What do you need me for?" The woman asked.
Sol stepped forward. "Great Librarian, we need your help."
The Great Librarian raised an eyebrow. "Oh, is it time for 'that'?"
"Not yet," Sol replied. "He still hasn't done his exam."
"But we now need your eyes," he added.
The Great Librarian nodded slowly. "Very well."
"Veda." Without wasting anymore time, the Great Librarian summoned an old tattered book.
"Is that......?"
Sol nodded, a hint of reverence in his voice. "Yeah, it's her Ego weapon. The Book of Knowledge, Veda."
Suddenly, the Great Librarian's eyes glowed with faint cosmos as she looked at Noah intensely.
The eyes, as if able to see something beyond, glowed intensely with cosmos before completely disappearing.
After the light disappeared, the book of knowledge, Veda, suddenly burst open, revealing an intense golden light that filled the room with its brilliance.
Noah and Sol shielded their eyes momentarily from the radiant glow. The pages of the book kept flipping and seemed to shimmer with ancient symbols, as if the knowledge contained within was eager to reveal itself.
After some time, a page tears itself from the Book before it silently floats before them.
The page was written with some characters they didn't know before. But as if they have a life of their own, the characters move and translate themselves into Altrea language— the common language used in the whole world.
The context of page shows Noah's general information.

"It's Strange." Seeing the information before them, the Great Librarian couldn't help furrow her brow.
Sol frowned. "Is there something wrong?"
"It's not a big deal but it's strange."
"My omniscient eye can see the information of someone across space and time. However, there are some parts that are not shown. This usually only happens if the information pertains to the future or things that don't even exist yet. But in this case, the information we're seeing is from the past and present."
"Is there a problem with my information?" Noah asked, his voice tinged with worry.
The Great Librarian shook her head. "So far, so good. Your purity rate is not in the negative, which means you're not a Cain or, much less, a Fallen.
The only strange things was your background information which is not really a problem. So just focus on what you need to do."
"Since we're already discussing his information, I want to ask that attributes. What's Genesis?" Asked Sol, curious was evident in his face.
"It's my first time seeing it too, but it's probably comparable to the supreme attributes since Genesis means beginning," the Great Librarian replied thoughtfully.
"Really? So it's as strong as my attribute, Order and Ciel's attribute, time"
The Great Librarian smiled faintly. "In a way, Attributes like Order and Time are immensely powerful, but Genesis could signify the origin or creation of things, which suggests it has vast, untapped potential."
Noah looked between them, trying to process the information. "So, what does that mean for me? I don't know much about attributes because I'm only taught things related to Fallen."
"It means," Sol said, placing a hand on Noah's shoulder, "that you have a rare and potentially powerful attribute. With proper training and understanding, you might unlock abilities beyond our current knowledge."
The Great Librarian nodded in agreement. "Well, enough of that, you should prepare for your exam because you're still not officially registered."
"Well do."
After that, Sol brought Noah to a 1-bedroom room on the 64th floor where he will be staying temporarily.
Sol called it a 1-bedroom room but it's as big as a Noble's room.
It has its own bathroom, tables, chairs, kitchen and a big soft bed.
Seeing the big comfy bed, drowsiness surged within Noah.
He couldn't help but fell into its embrace.
