“Any updates on our participant?” A man in a red robe covering his entire body, but his body seemed slightly distorted like he was a hologram.
“He’s made it into the final thirty-two sir.” Said a man in a black robe.
“Good, we wasted too much on that useless kid for him not to win this. How’s that other issue going?”
“We believe we lured him to the demon continent for the time being so he shouldn’t locate us for the time being.”
“Wonderful! Maybe for once my plans on this curve will work out.” The red robed man was ecstatic.
“I’ll be dealing with things on my end for the time being, Lucifer has been exceptionally active lately so I think it’s time I put him in his place.” After the red robed man said this he vanished.
“God I hate dealing with him, why did the other curves get the better Dominators?” The black robed man complained before exiting the dark room.
——Back at the tournament
“All contestants make their way towards the arena area, the final thirty-two will take place now.” A loud voice reverberated throughout the coliseum.
“I hope you won’t go back on your promise, Duke Reinhardt.” Yuna whispered to Reiner's father.
“I wouldn’t dream of it.” He said with a confident smile. He chalked up all of Dante’s wins to his extreme speed so his son should be fine with taking a hit or two to win.
Slowly the remaining students made their way to the arena area and noticed the platform had changed to sixteen arenas now.
“I see you made it.” Ariel said as she approached Dante from the side.
“You disappeared suddenly.” Dante said. He remembered seeing Ariel in his area but after the first round she had disappeared.
“Issues arose, but I took care of them.”
Dante merely clapped his hands in response.
“What seed are you?” Dante asked Ariel.
“Four.” Ariel seemed dejected about it but the rankings weren’t solidified yet so she wasn’t too disheartened.
“You?”
“Two.” Somehow Dante wasn’t one, but he chalked it up to not having a match that lasted more than five seconds.
“I’m three.” Reiner said as he approached. “Looks like we will get to brawl in the semi finals.”
“Why are you here?” Ariel said with a look of disgust.
“Me and Dante are best friends!” Dante raised his eyebrow in response to Reiner’s claim, but he quickly decided he didn’t care enough to fix it.
“As if.”
Something clearly had happened between the two of them but Dante at this point didn’t know either of them well enough to care yet.
“Can everyone make their way to the designated arena.” Aaron yelled out loud.
As Dante made his way to the arena he raised his eyebrow at his opponent, it was an orc.
The orc was a deep green color who was almost seven feet tall with an incredibly built frame on him, on his back was a greataxe that looked like it weighed a ton.

“There’s no way this dude is sixteen.” Dante said to himself.
“Begin.”
For once Dante wasn’t the first to move, the orc using nothing but his brute strength dashed forward leaving small imprints in the area from his heavy frame.
“He’s gotta weigh at least a ton or two.” Dante thought.
Dante was sticking to his War glaives now since it was the weapon he was most confident with, he charged forward and met the downward swing of the greataxe head on.
Right before they made contact, the axe had rocks form around it increasing the weight of the smash. As the two weapons made contact a loud crash echoed throughout the arena and a huge cloud of dust formed. All of a sudden a ton of noises began coming from the cloud which sounded like an intense clash of weapons was taking place.
Suddenly Dante’s figure was shot out of the cloud and hit the black barrier around the arena.
“Brute force is a no go.” Dante was slightly surprised he was finally beat in terms of pure power but he wasn’t scared still.
“I like you!” The giant orc said as he slowly walked out of the dust cloud which was slowly dissipating.
The orc had a huge grin on his face, he had never met someone who had strength like him that wasn’t a beast.
“I am Garrosh, tell me your name brother.” Garrosh the orc said.
“Dante.”
“Come! Our battle will be legendary!” Garrosh roared in excitement before dashing at Dante again with an underhanded swing this time.
Dante smiled at his opponent's remark and charged forward to trade blows with Garrosh again. Using both of his war glaives, Dante put just enough force to where he wouldn’t lose control, and used the incredible strength of Garrosh to launch himself over two hundred feet into the air.
“Let’s finish this!” Garrosh roared before imbuing his body and axe with all the mana he had.
As Dante started falling down he angled both of his war glaives directly down and finally used gravity magic, after imbuing them with gravity magic his descent suddenly hastened which surprised everyone watching.
As both weapons met a huge crash resounded, only dust filled the entire perimeter of the arena.
As it cleared everyone saw that Garrosh's legs were inside the arena, it reached up to almost his thighs. His greataxe had been completely severed down the middle, followed by a huge gash going down his chest to his stomach.
Dante was standing below him with one of his war glaives pressed against the neck of Garrosh.
“Thank you for my first decent match.” Dante said with a smile before lowering his weapon and wiping the dust off his clothes and face.
Garrosh just stood in silence, he couldn’t believe in a battle of pure power he was actually bested.
Dante held his fist out, hoping for a fist bump but clearly the orc had no idea what this meant.
“Close your fist and bump it into mine, it’s a fist bump.” Dante explained.
Garrosh did what he was told and fist bumped him back.
“Exit the arena.” The judge said after watching the display of camaraderie.
Back in the stands all the nobles had their mouths agape.
“Did he just beat Garrosh using brute force?” Said a noble.
“There’s no way he’s an elf or human, neither race could possibly have that much power inside that small frame.” Said another.
“Getting nervous?” Yuna said as she nudged Duke Reinhardt.
“Of course not, my son will take care of yours easily.” The Duke as he wiped a little sweat from his forehead with a handkerchief.
In another arena the last seeded competitor was facing off against the first seed, but it was a gruesome sight.
“Get up you pathetic piece of shit.” Said a human with black hair, he had scars all over his body showing how much pain he had suffered to get here.
“I. Surrender.” The other competitor tried to say, but as he said this a small black wisp of magic covered his mouth.
He was mercilessly ripped up by his hair by his opponent.
“You don’t get to quit.” Carter, the first seed said with a malicious smile.
For the next hour the poor teen was beaten to a bloody mess and even lost a few fingers before finally the judge stepped in.
“Leave, you’ve won.” The judge said as he used wind magic to separate the two.
Carter turned around and walked off before giving a wave to the crowd that he couldn’t even see.
Carters match was the last match of the round still going since he decided to completely torture his opponent, everyone in the crowd had a disgusted look on their face except for Yuna.
She looked as if she had found something interesting and smiled before walking out of the arena to god knows where.
