This story was simply too boring, the general idea was to make a story that mimicked minecraft modpacks with their railroaded stories and whatnot.
The place in which the story starts is interesting but not really all that great when it comes to expandability. I had a lot of trouble, and writing blocks, trying to figure out how to get the character where I wanted him. Which led to the story being very blocky, filled with whiplash, as it switched to various things. With nothing really that interesting in-between where I wanted him to go. With it being a rather dangerous woods It is not impossible to make this interesting. I just found it strange to try and mix this with the book systems and the sheer amount of other nonsense I tried to shove in. Other versions of this story in my head started with a old veteran adventurer and that probably would have been a better way of doing things.

Would i come to this concept again?
I may intersect this concept into other stories but as an actual story? These types of novels are actually quite boring in that the inbetween is really tedious. How most of them I read functioned was by ignoring the tedium. Leading to many timeskips and rather wishy washy timescaling. This type of story seems to function best with a more laidback premises. The main character being in lush semi-safe environments living the true farming life. You could tell I got bored and started writing from the brothers perspective. And now that I think about it, that's how a lot of those farming stories end up. Fuck the farming man main charater i made. Let's focus on actual interesting people in the world.
