After gathering all the steel and orcuiliuium in this ritual I need to figure out a safe way out of here. The first thing I need it to find a railroad smuggling point. If I can find that the tunnels should go under the fighting. Although first I need a weapon, I'll just make something simple. Using alchemy I shift a piece of steel into the shape of a spear head. Then taking a piece of wood I make a shaft. Alchemically bonding the two together will make for a decent weapon. I am not a blacksmith so I have no idea how to make a good spearhead. But don't I have a book on carpentry, won't that have something to do with a wooden shaft?
Opening up the book I am surprised only one thing is in it

Mission 1 look at a tree

Mission 2 think about the tree and its uses
-
Well a tree can be used for wood, and buildings, and weapons, and other things I guess?
I immediately look back at the book

Ahh so I have found what I need, but how do I get to it? Think "how to make a good spear out of only wood?" Looking at the book nothing happens. I decide to touch the sentence, and it apparently takes me to the information I need.
-
You find a stick, then sharpen said stick, then put barbs on the end to make ripping it out of someone painful. If you have a rock it might be a smart idea to find a way to strap it onto your stick somehow. Put a rune of shattering on the stick. Really sticks are quite cheap, and I don't necessarily see myself using one.
-
The "study materials" were only this sentence and a diagram for the rune of shattering. I uh, am kinda starting to understand why people with these books haven't taken over the world yet. I guess on the upper end the information gets good but this is quite simple. What is a rune of shattering anyhow.
That rune was something invented by the dwarfs incredibly long ago. Really when dwarfs still used Melee weapons more generally. Most of the time it would usually be put onto hammers. the effect of the rune would shatter the enemies armor. This rune in particular seems to shatter whatever the rune is placed on.
Shatter whatever it's placed on?
End.
This is the last chapter, this is when I stopped writing this.
