The Hatching

Well, that’s… an odd name. I wonder what that means my creatures are like. I’m not an idiot. Does my name mean idiot? I don’t think so. I hope not. Anyways, I should go look for more eggs.

So, there's 4 eggs. Hopefully, two males and two females. Also, what will they eat? Do I make a miracle and make prey for them or something?

Wow! I totally didn’t do that for plo-(technical difficulties)

So, I guess I’ll make another animal? Also, how did I get this?

[Answering planets question:

By getting your first beast, you have unlocked the menu and basic animals and plants.

Unlocked include:

Iron grass

Iron mouse

Quicksilver snake

Iron tree

Stone cricket

Rain]

Wow, how nice. I’ll put down some grass and a mouse. Oh, and maybe a couple crickets. Ooooh, should I make it rain? Sure, why not? I click the miracles button after spawning some animals. When I click on the rain, the screens tell me:

[WARNING:

Rain will harm the creatures nearby as they are used to fire.]

I realize that harming is bad. Wait, I already knew that. But anyways, I should make rain happen somewhere else. Also, apparently now I can float around too. I slowly float over to somewhere with nothing near the area. I go to the miracles page again, and click the rain button. This time, nothing stopped me.

[Initiating miracle:

Rain]

Suddenly, blue drops fell from the sky and quickly filled up holes. It was filling too fast, and I was still too close to the fire land. I heard a pinging, but put it on hold. I had more pressing matters. I rushed to the fire land and checked my menu. A new button had formed. It was called terraforming. Panicking, I clicked on it. Here are the options it gave me.

Down

Smooth out]

Yes! This is what I need. I click the up and hold down on the area I want. The fire ‘zone’ suddenly goes further and further up. I’ll make it smoother later, now I need to lift it high. I make sure that all of the fire things are rising, then, at a level that I judge high enough, I stop. I’ll make more of these ‘islands’ later, but for now I’ll see if I can turn off the rain, or at least control it. If I can’t, I’ll just sleep.

So, I ended up sleeping, and now I think that there's a sea. I hope a lot of life happens because of this. At least the fire ‘zone’ is still a mountain. Apparently the rain can’t raise water higher than a certain level(sea limit). I should check the bunch of notifications I got when I did everything.

Wow, that's a lot. But why are there no beasts? As I realize that it does not mention beasts, a new screen comes up.

[Beasts evolve from animals, and once evolved, you can spawn them.]

Wow, that’s useful. I’m saying wow way too much. I should come up with a less dry exclamation. Anyways, I’ll just go around and place some animals. Then I finally get to sleep. Or, I can check if there is a new button now on my menu now.

Semi-Sentient and Sentient Beings(New!)]

I wonder what a sentient being is.

[A sentient being is a being capable of free will, and has complicated thought processes. You currently have 0 sentient and 0 semi-sentient beings. The option has been revealed as you have made your first section of ocean, although it looks more like a lake.]

Ah. I see. So, do sentient beings speak to me?

[ Not directly, but their faith boosts your power and their prayers may reach you. Those dedicated to you reach you in the Afterlife. ]

What's the Afterlife?

[Where Sentients and Semi-Sentients go when they die]

How would they pronounce my name?

[Ay-ree-ohs]

I like my name. I suppose that sleeping should be used, after I make a few more islands, and maybe a mainland. I’ll be sure to add trees. Maybe I can get smaller plants, soon. A flower would be nice. It sounds pretty.

So, then, I pulled the land into many smaller islands. I spread more water around, after the Menu told me it let life flourish. It told me to mix in minerals, which counted as terraforming. I planted some trees, and made little environments by how the Menu told me they worked. They would spread, like the First Tree, which I made the World Tree of Fire.

I added more creatures, and plants, and figured out that the Cherry Trees and Moonflowers were my favorite. I managed to create a Moonflower variant that was pink, light purple, violet, or indigo, all pale, and all glowing like the original flower. I also made the World Tree of Water, because there was a sparkly and massive lake, right next the the tree.

I added a moon, something that would apparently govern the tides, and a sun, which would let life grow. It took a little for life to adjust.

I made a massive Mainland, scattering some caves and mountains. The Menu said that life would become diversified like this, though some kinds of life would look bad, it would be beautiful if I learned how it worked.

I spread more plant life, and some specialized unevolved life I unlocked by creating biomes. I liked the look of crystals, so I made delicate Crystal Chrysanthemums for my favorite forest, which was now named the Blessed Glade. I found out how to bless land just for the Glade, which was originally called Cherry Tree Forest. I changed some of the colors of crystals, and trees, so the Glade would have more color. There were now Violet and Light Blue Cherry Trees, which added some flavor to the glade.

It was at this point that I realized my perception of time had slowed. I had gone into some sort of creative trance, and I only realized it after watching a Quicksilver Snake move slower than normal. I snapped out quickly. Then I realized that I had done everything I wanted to do, told Menu to wake me up when something interesting happened and settled to rest in the Glade.
