Sir Rodric the Fourth sighed. The recent meetings of the newly-dubbed Allied Races had taken a lot out of him, and he had only recently allied the other Humans. Unlike the Elves or Angels, who were Created together, the Humans were spread throughout the Great Plains.
The Newmans ended up near the mountains; they knew how to create stone items. The ‘pickaxes’ they made let us mine more stone for more technology, and some of the Newmans knew how to smelt something called iron, which was even more durable than stone.
The Windings lived near the Willow Lake, and they worked together with the Newmans well when allied, contributing hunting techniques and better fire to the rest of us plebeians.
Rodric himself was from one of the more physically powered tribes, but he had greater ambitions, and believed there were other races, and other humans. He had led his tribe, called Royalis, to uniting most tribes. Some did not wish to unite, but would consider it. They were allied with the Nation of Akana.

The Royalis tribe was now considered royalty. Royalty was a word derived from Royalis, which was shortened to Royals so it was easier to speak. Rodric was called the Great Uniter by those under his rule.
The new report from an Angel messenger was concerning. There was a race called Demons who attacked the Angel on sight, and there were rumors of an alliance between them and creatures called Beast-Kin. The Angel had accidentally intruded on a meeting between the leaders, and barely managed to escape.
The Elves also reported that a new tree and possibly sentient race was on their land, called nymphs. They were plant spirits, and the specific kind that was worrying was labeled Dryads.
The Dryads were tree spirits, and were Semi-Sentient, able to hide themselves well. The only reason they were known was because a kind Bromeliad Nymph took it upon herself to inform about all currently known species. Most were known and contacted, but the Wooden spirits had not been found yet.
“Go back,” he told the Angel. “Tell King Snow I will assist any endeavours or battles concerning these possible new foes.” He sighed again. There was a storm brewing, Rodric knew it.
