“You called something fun” Said Aurora.
Atlas didn't understand this and only looked at her with confusion.
“Let's go” Said Tabitha pointing out the door.
She truly enjoyed rum and almost anything else unhealthy.
Atlas remembered the first time they meet. Tabitha was training and seemed confused when she saw him. But when she saw his mother she gasped and ran over. She looked at Levy and Atlas. She asked his mother if they were her's.
When Jane said “Yes”.
Tabitha hugged them and would not stop smiling.
“Look at this beautiful place!” Said Tabitha.
The beach had sand that looked like tiny drops of sunlight. The water was crystal clear.
“Lucius, remember when we spend that time together in the place with the big river?” Asked Aurora.
“Yes, what about it” Said Lucius. Atlas knew he would never forget it. He had enjoyed getting to know Aurora. He felt like he would be angry if he lost her. He wanted to keep her around. She had become an object that he liked to keep around.
“Do you remember how you freaked out when I kissed you” Said Aurora.
“I didn't freak out that much” Said Atlas.
He knew in his mind it could not have been more wrong. When she kissed him his mind was in shambles. He knew he was being honest because he did much more than freaked out.
“That's so cute” Tabitha began poking at a flustered Atlas.
He never showed in in his expression, he just barely knew it himself with his own feelings. But the feeling however small was there.
“Isn't he just” Said Aurora.
Atlas jumped into the water and drifted. He didn't understand why he felt so odd. He knew what he felt for Aurora made him uncomfortable but he didn't understand why. He poked out of the water and looked at Aurora. He quickly looked away knowing he ran the risk of getting her pregnant. Hex had told him that was how babies were made. He was not allowed to study in the area of human reproduction so he had no understanding of it. He worried if he had looked at her to long it may just happen. Tabitha was busy getting wasted.
She removed her uniform and had only a thin skirt and shirt. Tabitha looked over at Atlas and could not help but notice the similarity between him and King. Not only were the eyes similar but King had once showed the Elders that he had a mortal form. The sketch of King had a frightening resemble. She remembered being there for his trial. Held in court for Crimes against the Arks. Showing his mortal form proved he was not a true Ark member and released him of all charges.

“Hey Lucius remember when you told me you would teach me to swim?” Aurora was making a small circle in the sand with her foot.
“Yes would you like to continue that lesson?” Asked Atlas.
He felt a sharp pain cut his body. He was unable to feel his body as it hit the ground. He attempted to move as his vision left him. He knew he would never reach his pills in time. He closed his eyes and felt only hate for himself. He hated himself for being so selfish and careless. His mind drifted to his sisters and mother. He did his best to keep them off his mind knowing he would just disappoint them. He had failed at the only thing he truly needed to do. Live. He felt his lips part and something strange. He shot up and his body burned. She had somehow done it. Aurora knew he needed his pills.
“Thanks, I felt a little funny” Said Atlas taking a few deep breath. He pretended that it was all fine. The pain was unlike anything he had ever felt.
“I was so scared” Said Aurora holding him.
Atlas felt wrong. He knew he liked the feel of her soft skin. He didn't want to. He liked how easy it was to smile around her but he didn't want to smile. He didn't know when he had done it but his lips had kissed her cheek.
“Thanks for saving me” Said Atlas.
He knew he meant it but he didn't want to admit it.
“Saving you?” Asked Aurora.
“Never mind let's get back to teaching you how to swim” Said Atlas.
“No way, we are taking you right back to your sister. She can take better care of you” Said Aurora.
“But…”
“Not buts, she's right. Athena knows how to take better care of you than any of us. Other than your mother of course” Said Tabitha.
Atlas nodded and walked back to the ship. They spend some time talking with the crew and drank some fruit smoothies. Atlas got a large cup and was going to hand it to Aurora. His hand felt numb and he spilled it on her.
“Sorry” Said Atlas.
“No problem, I’ll just change my shirt” Said Aurora.
“I got a spare if you want it” Said Tabitha.
“Thanks” Said Aurora walking away with Tabitha.
Atlas got back to commanding the ship. Atlas was deep in thought. He wonder what would have happened if he had not chosen Aurora. He wondered if that sandy beach would have been his resting place.
“What do you think?” Asked Aurora.
Atlas know how to describe color to the blind, he knew how to describe pain so well it could kill. He knew he to describe hunger so well it could make others starve to death. But he knew he could never be able to describe how beautiful she was and would always be. He had no way to tell her how beautiful she was. He wanted her to understand his predicament.
“Maybe you should look in a mirror before you ask” Said Atlas.
She seemed sad for just an instant but Atlas would never have known. Tabitha, Atlas and Aurora all walked back to the main house.
“We have a dinner to attend” Said Atlas.
“Oh Lucius!” Said Hex.
Atlas Turned and said “Do you like my outfit” Hex was blowing a kiss in his direction.
Atlas knew he quite enjoyed the maiden outfit but felt like a horrible person for doing so.
“Mind if we talk in my bedroom” Said Atlas.
