One of the reason's I have enjoyed writing this story as much as I have is because of readers comments and recommendations. Many of you know that this is my first time sharing anything I have written in a public forum. As such, I take feedback very seriously.

After reviewing several of the comments in recent chapters about my character arc for Kedryn I realized I was doing a very poor job representing him. Instead, I made him the childish buffoon instead of the highly intelligent Soldier he is with some very acute character/social flaws. As such, I have rewritten chapter 23 to bring Kedryn's character development back on track.

I will be deleting chapter 23 a, b, and c by 31 August 2023, but wanted to keep it up for a couple of days so you, as the readers, can provide any additional insights feedback by comparing the two. I will also be going back and reviewing additional chapters and may be tweaking some things here and there.

Yes, there are still some items I have kept that you may not initially agree with. You will see why I have retained them in chapter 24a (also being posted same day as this post and the revised chapter 23).
