The Dark Lord's Domain : Chapter 5

Kai emerged from the castle, his heart racing with relief. He was finally free from the darkness that had consumed him for what felt like an eternity.

But his relief was short-lived, as he soon realized that he was not alone. A figure approached him from the shadows, a figure with a cloak and hood that obscured his face.

"Welcome, young one," the figure spoke in a deep, sinister voice. "You have entered the domain of the Dark Lord, the ruler of this realm."

Kai stepped back, fear gripping his heart. He had heard of the Dark Lord, a powerful being that controlled the land with an iron fist.

"Why have you brought me here?" Kai asked, his voice trembling. "What do you want from me?"

"I have brought you here to offer you a choice," the Dark Lord replied. "You can either serve me, or die."

Kai knew that he had to make a choice, and he knew that he needed to act quickly. He could feel the darkness closing in on him, and he knew that he needed to find a way out.

He thought of his friends, his family, and he knew what he needed to do. He stepped forward, determination in his heart.

"I will not serve you," he said. "I will not become a pawn in your evil games."

The Dark Lord laughed, a cruel and sinister laugh that filled the air. "You are brave, young one," he said. "But bravery will not save you. You will serve me, or you will die."

And with that, the Dark Lord disappeared into the shadows, leaving Kai alone in the darkness. He knew that he had to find a way out of this place, and he knew that he had to fight for his freedom.
