Chapter 4 - Black-Haired Blonde

Chapter 4 - Black-Haired Blonde

.::. U know what? We'll just use this as the present and work from here. .::.

At this moment, what I saw made my jaw drop so low, it puts all dub-step music makers and writers (did you know that you can write that stuff?) to shame.

On the couch, by the wall next to the door, lay the principal, sleeping, with her shirt slightly unbuttoned. Deep within me a urge that none but the most trained professional could endure and suppress.

But I happened to be such a professional, at least in my mind. Sam on the other hand wasn't and he passed out long before she had entered the room. That, or her sadistic tendencies that occasionally manifest themselves in her scared him so shitless that he passed out like he normally does. Either way, he's out cold.

Noting that the notifications tab showed the files were 86% complete, I crossed the room to retrieve a blanket from the closet. Covering the Principal I closed my eyes.

Don't look don't look don't look

I crouched down and grabbed Sam's collar, attempting to free him from her iron grip, but my actions were fruitless.

Might as well give up and go back to the computer...

Walking to the chair I noticed the notifications in the corner of the screen

"K, I want you to throw everything you have at them, and then disconnect."

"Everything? Even the Kraken?!"

---------- Warning - Block Of Text Imminent ----------

Kraken was the official unofficial name for a nasty project we had been working on as part of our 'practice'. It was a virus purely designed to troll those who messed with us. It cause problems that could be easily repaired, but was very annoying, and caused many software glitches. Icons and windows would move when you mouse over them. Sounds would randomly play, and many would be mangled and augmented to sound demonic and quite scary. Devices would mount themselves and then unmount themselves. Files would be moved around. The desktop background would change to the picture of a Kraken. Ed drives, if anyone still had them, would open and close. Fans would turn on and off. Parts would be overclocked to the point that they begun to heat up and burn slightly, pouring smoke out of the system, but they wouldn't be too badly damaged. Most importantly it left no traces and couldn't be followed back to us. It would also delete itself after some time. The virus itself was named after a certain Deep Space Kraken that the computer looked like it was being attacked by as it shook violently from all that was happening. Today I felt like splurging. The Kraken had never been tested as a whole. Only bits and pieces of the code had been tested, and most tests ended after the first trial due to the fact that it worked, which was thrilling to realize how accomplished they were as programmers, but disappointing to say the least when they didn't get to do it again.

If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.

"Launch the Kraken!" I commanded in an authoritative tone.

This will teach you to mess with me when I'm busy! Try and catch me now!

I grabbed the radio and shouted into it, "Vince, get ready to run!"

*"...."*

There was no response. Not even the usual grunt.

"K we've lost contact with Vince!"

"Is the radio working? Did you try turning it off and back on again?"

I fiddled around with it and replied.

"Are you reta..."

"It was off."

He gave me a look that said, 'You're and idiot! Worse than a blonde!'

I retaliated with the, 'Death shall come. Soon.' look.

"Vince, unplug it and get out of there! They might be coming soon."

It would have taken them a while, but the GIN would be able to link one of their computers going offline around the time of the hacking to the hacking and realize their computer had been hijacked. They would be able to come here and catch us, but trace-wise, our 'footprints' were untraceable, since we had connected to another computer, and connected that computer to another computer, and so on. The last computer had connected to the GIN computer using the USB device that had been plugged in. We were untraceable. Uncatchable? Hey, I don't do English.

*"Hhmmh"*

"K check the GIN reports and pull up the school cameras on the monitor."

In the front of the classroom on the main monitor, a screen split into six showed cameras from the area near the entrances of the building, and scrolled through the list.

Among the information saved was the passwords to the school cameras, so we still had access to them even after disconnecting from the computer.

What we could see through those cameras shocked us, and called for an organized plan to be put into effect.

AUTHOR'S RANT:

When I write, I am like a conspiracy theorist. I have several plot points pinned to the wall and I'm drawing lines between them. I don't have a ruler, or a steady hand, so the line is VERY messy. Comparing this story and my writing to that conspiracy theorist analogy, I see many, many similar... things.... (couldn't think of a word.). I am very new to writing and will accept any critiques and criticism (just don't hate too much, it'll hurt my feelings). My naming sense could use some work. Especially the chapter names. Need name for principal. preferably Korean.

TLDR:

I'm a newbie, don't hurt me, please respond if there's a problem. Need name for principal.
