There are different kinds of clan that has influence in this world. There are clans that own a library or many libraries. There are clans that focused on enlightened people. There are clans that have big resources. There are other kinds but all in all, the goal is only one, to be enlightened, to have more wisemen.
The Tibular family is a branch of a clan that owns library. Well, you can call it a family but it only has 3 living person as of now; the young man, Library Mistress Ysabele and his father. There is also his mother, grandfather and grandmother but they are all dead. His mother died while he was only less than 1 year old and his grandmother followed when he was 4 years old. The young man turned 17 last month and all through his life, only his grandfather took care of him till when he was 12 that his grandfather died. Since then, his Aunt was only family member that took care of him. His father always sent him things he needed but never saw him personally. Ysabele always tell him not to think badly of his father because he is very busy in the capital. He knows that but can’t help to disapprove of his father in his heart. This is also the reason why it became hard for him to adapt with other people which lead him to be always alone.
The young boy is called Deus Septima Tibular. He grew up with his grandfather who taught him all things in life; like moral character, loyalty, respect, and etc. It is also because of his grandfather that he likes to read books not because he wants to be enlightened but to read it with his heart. As a matter of fact he already had discovered many means but didn’t care much about enlightenment which always made his aunt angry with him but can’t do anything about it. It’s not like he didn’t have enlightenment on few books that makes him be qualified to attend lessons of mid-foundational wiseman.
Tibular Library is considered the lowest level library in this world. The lectures in the library are only for foundational wisemen which is the lowest level and also the most important part. It is called foundational because wisemen in this stage is building up their enlightenments and how do they perceive the means which will later be the starting point of their way to higher realm of enlightenment.
Even though they only have the lowest level library, Ysabele cannot be treated as someone weak because no one knows what level of wiseman she already is. One thing that should be noted is she was once the most talented person at Genesis city in her generation. That is why no one is making a mess of Tibular Library even if it is only a low level one. It is actually to the point that many big families in the city and cities next to Genesis want their child to be a student of her. Yearly, she accepts students that she taught for a year in the central part of the library but never did she accept her own apprentice for unknown reason. Many call her Librarian Mistress but she is only 23 years old.
Inside a room in the quarter, someone is silently reading and murmuring to himself every now and then. He is seated in a chair in front of a study table at the corner of the room. The room is dark except the place in top of his table being lit by a handful size flame hovering in the air.
“This story of the little bird is short but full of emotions.” he said inwardly.
“I wonder why many parents thinks that a bird should leave the nest to learn how to fly” Thinking deeply with confusion. “Is it really worth being away from home? From your parents?”
“I wonder why my dad left home. Maybe, because he wants me to grow up independently? But it’s so sad, is it really worth it?” He said while being more depressed after one question and another.
While being depressed thinking of the reason why he was suddenly interrupted by a knock, “Deus, dinner is ready. Let’s eat first.” a voice of a girl said so.
“Okay Aunt Ysabele, give me a sec.” He said while standing up from his chair. He arranged the books in his table then he wave his hand for the handful size flame to lead the way out of his room. He put off the fire after leaving his room and went to the dining room.

“Oh, why look like that? Did you eat something bad?” said Ysabele while giggling.
“Nothing, I’m just thinking the reason of something I read earlier.” he said while sighing deeply. He shook his head removing those thoughts in his mind and said “What do we have for dinner?”
“Ahh, what makes him so depressed?” She murmured to herself while preparing the food before bringing it on the dining table. ”Well, it’s our traditional keep it up meal for very first day of class in a year every time you fail making friends.” she said with a joking smile in her face.
“So it is my favourite steak huh.” he said so smiling bitterly while taking his seat.
“hehehe, yes it is my very own special steak” she said before taking her seat too. ”Let’s eat!”
Only the sound of utensils was heard for a while before Ysabele asked “What were you reading earlier” then she continued eating.
Deus finished the food in his mouth first before answering “It was the story of the little bird that you said to read in the class earlier”
“Ehh, didn’t you already finish that many times already?” she said before taking another bite.
“Yes, but I wanted to reread it because I still don’t understand something” He said while looking depressed again before sighing and continue to eat.
“Hhmmm, so what do you not understand? Let your aunt hear it.” She said curiously.
“It’s nothing big. It is just I am a bit bothered of why do the little bird needs to leave the nest to learn how to fly. Isn’t it sad?” he said so with a wondering voice like he was thinking out loud.
“Sigh, is it because of your father again?” she said bitterly.
“It is not a thing which I can influence you but just remember one thing that I want you to not forget, always, please understand your father, there are things that you won’t understand right now but sooner you will know and realize why. So as much as you can, please don’t think so badly of your father” she said so with a sincere and caring tone.
“I understand; it’s just, I can’t help but feel sad from time to time” He said, looking down while ashamed of himself.
Ysabele put her spoon down before getting up from her seat and went to his back before hugging his head in her tummy and said “There is nothing to be ashamed of Deus. I am happy that you can still stay strong even though your father never been with you since you’re a child. Don’t worry, I am always here and will not go away from you alright?” Ysabele hug him tighter before letting go and going back to her seat.
“Okay, forget sad things and let’s continue eating” she said with a loving smile.
Deus was quiet for a sec before coming to himself then he shook his head and said “Thanks aunt Ysabele” He continued to eat after saying so with a sincere smile.
Ysabele went quiet for a bit for some unknown reason before she continued to eat and said with a loving tone “You’re always welcome.”
They continued to eat and talk until the food is almost done when suddenly Aunt Ysabele asked “For the Bookmakers sake Deus, how is your enlightenment?”
He went still for a moment before saying “Ahh, hehehe, I haven’t tried since the last time I had one” then took a bite of the steak while saying stiffly “Hhhmm, this steak is really good!”
Aunt Ysabele looks annoyed and amused at the same time before saying with a smile but not a smile “Ohhh, didn’t tried huh. I guess I have to put some more restrictions in the books around some corner”.
“Ehh, Nn-noo, Please don’t, my beautiful and gorgeous Aunt Ysabele” Deus said nervously.
“Hhmmm, Did I just hear you say you will go and try having enlightenment?” She said with an enigmatic smile.
He was stunned for a bit before blushing then he shook his head while thinking inwardly “That was weird, why did I feel like that” then he said in a low voice “Yes, enlightenment is it. Why do I need to?”
“What did you say?” she said with the same expression and an additional earthshattering cute glare.
“I will go and try being enlightened!” He said hurriedly with a wry smile afraid of having nothing to read before looking at aunt again that made his heart pound faster.
“Good boy. Then I’ll be waiting for the result. Maybe if I like it I can give you a prize!” she said proudly like she made a big accomplishment in her life.
He stared at her blankly not knowing what is happening but when Ysabele said prize, he suddenly thought of something inappropriate that made him blush so he stood up and hurriedly said “Thanks for the meal! I’ll take a bath now” then he walked out of the dining room.
Aunt Ysabele was taking a spoonful and was stunned that she forgot to put it in her mouth for a moment. Then she said inwardly “Ohhh, my Deus is growing up” she smiled then shook her head before finishing the leftover food. She waved her hand then the dishes float and cleaned itself before flying back to the container.
“Hmmm I should wait a bit more before giving that letter” she murmured to herself before shaking her head and getting out from the dining room.
