Chapter 2: Castaway

[Aquatic Communication: Enabled.]

Talia would attempt to speak again, now switching to aquatic communication, as her voice echoes out, without moving her mouth. "Hello. Master"

The person looked confused at how she heard the statement made just now. "What. What you mean by master? Also how are you talking."

Talia would scan the person, then worryingly thinking to herself about the whole ordeal, this was incorrect, while the other data seems correct some parts of Abigail were different. Talia would ignore this for now, and focus on the first issue, the alcoholism.

[Biodata Recognition: 75% Abigail ■■■l■ri, abnormalities detected.]

Talia would look at the person with a disappointed expression, "Master Abigail have you've been drinking again? You said you would lay off the drinking this time around."

The Albino look alike of Talia's former master would have an annoyed expression, seeing as her previous question was ignored.. "Look. for one, I am not your master. You clearly have woken up with some screws loose or something." The woman would remark, as she rubbed her eyebrows together annoyed at this whole ordeal.

"I don't use screws, also your biodata suggest that you are indeed my master, are you sure, you are alright Abigail? Maybe I threw you too hard..." The Android initially replied with respect, but then threw in their own personality while providing information.

"I never met you in my life, my name isn't Abigail either its Gale. Also you wouldn't be able to throw me." Gale would pout at that last remark.

Ignoring the prior, believing it to be Abigail's usual rambling when drunk. So she decided to playfully tease the idea. "Is that Gale with a ail? or "ale"? Or is it possible that you have made a new name." The Android would let out a playful remark.

"No Goddamnit! Just, ugh... give me a moment."

Gale attempts to thinks back, to how this happened. "Damn, this wouldn't have occurred if it wasn't for that damned bird slamming me into... I don't know what that piece of shit is, some metal box with wheels and boom, I am finding a schizophrenic machine. I shouldn't have helped Ursa this time, it really has fucked me over-" Gale would pass out mid thought.

Talia would poke Gale "Are you attempting to think back Master?"

"What in the hell!? Don't just poke me like that I was trying to think!" Gale would remark waking up immediately.

"Trying to think? You passed out right infront of me." Talia would state. "Why have you've been drinking again master?"

"I told you, I am not your Master-" Gale would stop mid sentence, and look down, before sighing, she decided to make use of this situation. "Fine I'll tell ye. Just, lets go to a space where you can talk normally, hearing your voice while not seeing your mouth move is unsettling. There is a ruined building near here with an air pocket." Gale would wave over for Talia to follow her to it.

Talia would smile. "Very well, whatever makes you most comfortable."

The two would walk by the ruins of what use to be a town, but submerged in the deep blue, lit up, as water reflected from the surface to the ocean floor, like a beautiful aquarium, as small groups of fish swam by as if flocks of birds in the sea. Eventually reaching the destination and entering the building, the two would walk up the stairs, but Talia began to notice something, there was complete weight to the way Gale walked, as if, she had next to no buoyancy, treading the ocean floor as if she were walking on land, she would keep this to herself.

"Okay, before we talk, what's your name first?" Gale would take a seat on a moist couch, her diving suit like dress slumping over with the weight of the sea water.

"Oh yes, my designation if you have forgotten, I am named "Talia" by you. I am a PAI.MCG3, PillarAI Type Model Civilian Generation 3, your designated caretaker-"

Gale would cut Talia off. "uph uph uph! I asked for your name, not your life story with your Master." Gale would pause for a moment, looking out the window at the ocean. "Alright my turn, my name is just Gale. Alright?"

Talia would nod her head, seeing how Gale wants to keep things simple.

Gale would continue. "Good, before I say anything, let's put this across, I am not your master, alright. Maybe I am related to them some how, I don't know, but just refer to me as my name ok?"

Talia would look slightly disheartened at that comment, to Gale, it almost seemed like Talia was attempting to trick herself, like everything was still normal. There was an awkward silence between the two, before Talia would break the ice. "So why were you drinking?" Talia would smile again, as if trying to bring the conversation back.

Stolen novel; please report.

"I was drinking because its the only past time I got down here, can't swim, so I am stuck doing nothing but scavenging these ruins for stuff, I am effectively an outcast due to my issue. Before I found you I was drinking some alcohol I found in the ruins here, then some shitheads lead a bunch of "birds" after me, well they looked like birds, but they slammed me like a shark into that metal box that you were laying under before leaving to chase after those kids, I didn't expect you to wake up, neither did I know you were even there." Gale would then take a break from speaking, looking if Talia fully understood all of that.

"I understand, however may I ask, birds? No bird in this region should be able to get this deep under water, we are 215 meters underwater." She seemed confused, with Gale's statement.

Gale would lazily respond. "Trust me, its not the weirdest thing your going to see down here. Anyways, I said my story, now you can tell yours." Gale respectfully offered to listen.

"Well as I said, my name is Talia, I am a PAI.MCG3 created by PillarAI, I was the caretaker for my Master Abigail ■■■l■ri-!??!" Talia would pause, when she attempted to recall Abigail's last name, as it came off with a distorted echo, like a scratched disk.

Gale would immediately cover her ears. "DEAR GOD!? What in the actual shit did you just say?!"

"I am sorry Ms Gale! I don't know what happened, I should have said my Masters name, I don't know why it sounds like that! I must be corrupted a little."

[Attempting to fix corrupted files: 80% successful, 20% of memory lost, Regeneration error.]

Talia would look disheartened. "Its lost. I. I don't remember her name." She droops over, feeling like she failed existence purpose, her eyes begin glowing red from the usual green, looking like she was going to self-destruct.

Despite the issues Talia has given Gale, Gale would walk up to Talia having finally sobered up. Gale would then drop down to Talia's level and attempts to drive some common sense, into the android that looks like its going to explode. "Oi, what you looking down for, so what if you've forgotten her last name, you remembered most of her. What shes like, how she looks, even her biodata right?"

Talia would look up, her expression returning back to normal. "Y-yes! That is correct, wait, how long has it been? I haven't been able to check. We should get onto dry land my connection to the world network must be being dampened from how deep we are."

Gale realized her mistake. "Wait we? Also, there is no dry land long from here." Gale would begin to talk to herself. "God I really need to shut my mouth, now I am inclined to help them." Gale's conscious would begin to weigh decisions. "If I help her, I at least have something to do. However, if I turn away now and say something I need to do, I can get out of this easy."

"I can hear you." Talia's expression looks a bit annoyed, but gets up anyways going to the stairwell.

"Wait I was thinking out loud." Gale would sweat a bit, realizing that they said their decisions out loud. "Well I uh... I am sorry, for my latter option."

"It is fine, my master used to say her thoughts out loud a lot as well. I am rather used to it. I also understand your meaning behind abandoning me to my own resources. You are not inclined to assist me in my endeavours. I will be going now, which direction you said that island was?" Talia would ask beginning to step down into the water.

"Its uh, south of here." Before Talia would leave, Gale would walk up, before Talia could fully submerge "Alright, I reconsidered I was a bit of an ass. I will lead you, since you probably don't know about the dangerous parts in this area like I do, but after that were through alright?"

Talia would smile. "Thank you Ms Gale."

Gale would blush a bit at the genuine remark, her cheeks glowing a brightly red over her usual pale dead like skin. "Uh. You're welcome."

Talia would giggle, finding amusement in the rough necked attitude of Gale breaking away, showing that they are still a girl in the end, before fully submerging.

Gale would notice this, feeling annoyed again. "I am beginning to regret my decisions." She thought to herself, before running and diving back into the water after Talia to begin their little adventure.
