Legend has it that there once was a God that descended to mortal realm after a battle to the death. The legend says he landed and perished at the Afgor forest of the Emerald continent.
A young adventurer is on a journey to the Afgor forest. The Afgor forest is located at the eastern most border of the Emerald continent. Tiny beads of sweat can be seen all over the youthful face of this adventurer.
"I never thought there existed a thing that could scare me more than my old man" He thought to himself.
"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" Woyin said to himself as he entered the forest.
While wondering through the thick forest, making his way deeper and deeper into the forest, he encounters several types of beast who call this part of the world home.
For the most part he avoids them and silently continues making his way deeper into the forest. While moving, he notices something strange with his surrounding. He notices the absence of other beasts, he slowly looks around and immediately sees a strange uneven oval object by a tree. He walks over to inspect this object and realizes it's the remains of a devoured beast.
He ponders for a bit, and suddenly makes a distressed face.
"Cambin" he says softly. While he looks around.
Cambin's are a special type of beast only found in the Afgor forest. Cambin's are predatory carnivorous plants. They utilize a variety of special poisons, and devour their targets after they are incapacitated. What's most frightening about these beast isn't their poisons, but the fact that they are very hard to kill.
Just as realizes he is in danger, he hears a whistling noise. Suddenly the branches of the surrounding trees, or what he originally assumed were trees, started moving. He immediately dashes to the west to try and escape, but was stopped on his track as he falls. He noticed he was stopped a root of a nearby tree that curls round his right ankle. He immediately uses the dagger at his waist to cut off the root and continues running.
He notices a thick brown fog in front of him. He knows that this is no ordinary fog, but instead a poisonous fog created by the Cambin.
"How large is the area this Cambin controls?" Woyin says to himself.
Cambin's are solitary beast, so he knows there wouldn't be another one for miles. He holds his breath and continues running through the fog. While running he started feeling dizzy. Rapidly, the feeling kept increasing to a debilitating level. As he was about to collapse he noticed a river bank, down a hill, to his side. With every strength he could muster, he drags himself, while crawling, to the edge of the hill and finally pushes himself off the hill.
As he rolled off the hill he breath a sigh of relief. When the dust settled, his body could be seen close to the edge of the river. Before he completely passed out, he noticed a bright blue silhouette of a wolf like beast.
"I guess this is how it ends for me" Woyin says to himself.

2 weeks passes.
A young man covered in dust could be seen laying in front of a cave.
"Uhhhh" the young man says as he desperately gasps for air.
Finally, he opens his eyes. The young man sees the boundless sky. For a moment he questioned if he had passed away, but soon realized he was still in the land of the living.
"What happened?" Woyin questioned himself, as he tries his best to faintly remember anything. Soon afterwards he gives up on understanding his prior ordeal.

"I guess I should thank my stars im still alive"
Woyin gathered what strength he had left to sit up in an upright manner. He drags himself to sit in front of a large rock beside the cave.
Suddenly he felt a menacing presence emanating from the cave, he immediately reaches for his waist to get his dagger. He soon realized his dagger was no where to be found. With a distressed look on his face, he kept staring at the cave. A giant blue wolf-like beast slowly walked out of the cave. As he kept staring, he was consumed by a deep feeling of familiarity. He quickly remembered the silhouette he saw before he collapsed.
"A spirit beast" Woyin said to himself as he continued staring at the beast.
Spirit beasts are a different kind of beast. They were rare and occasionally had the ability to be one with humans that had an affinity with their spirit. It was common knowledge that spirit beast could never be tamed. They had devastating powers that when unleashed could cause serious havoc to all life within its vicinity.
As Woyin stared at the beast, his normally brown pupils turned blue. He soon realized there was an unfamiliar energy swelling up within his body. With quick wits, he immediately knew he was one with this beast.
"My Divine spirit" He said out loud.
His conjecture was right. He had indeed become one with the spirit beast that dwelled within that cave. He immediately got up and slowly walked towards the beast. Starring at this 7 feet tall and 12 feet long wolf like creature, he threw out his palm to try and touch the spirit beast. To his absolute delight, he touched the mane of the beast. He noticed some blue-like particles surrounding this beast. All of a sudden the beast was no longer within his sights. He immediately turned around and saw the beast on top of the he rock he was resting on.
"Whooooo whoooo" the beast loudly howled.
Woyin was originally startled, but soon composed himself. Almost as if the beast was directly speaking in a language he could directly understand, he somewhat knew what the beast had said. Again, the beast disappeared from his sight, but this time Woyin couldn't tell where the beast had gone. After a couple of seconds, "Thank you " Woyin said out loud.
Woyin knew the beast had became one with him, and had granted him a domain to its power. Woyin immediately made way down the hill the cave was located. His mission this time was to safely get back to his hometown. During the journey back, Woyin found his dagger, which gave him great delight. This particular dagger was a gift specially crafted by his father, the king of the kingdom of Songhai.
As Woyin journeyed through the thick forest, he specifically avoided the rejoin where he encountered the Cambin. He encountered countless lower beasts, which possessed little threat to him. He also used the opportunity to familiarize himself with his new found power. He noticed that the spirit energy within him greatly increased his speed, it also increased his vitality, as his injuries all quickly healed after he had gotten injured.
