"What the fuck is going on here?" William muttered to himself in an annoyed tone.
this was his favorite game, where he had spent countless hours of his life playing.
And he knew just how painfully dangerous it was for its denizens. But, now that he thought about it, it was probably better not to get involved with most of the events, considering the fact that he was a vampire, thus he shouldn't really care, and stay away from human conflicts.
But then again, it might be interesting to actually try becoming the strongest, now that he actually lived in this world...
But for now he had more pressing matters.
He was in a forest, and one that he knew very well. After all...
It was the sight all whom played this game and tried the hardest scenario they could think of know very well. This area is where all players that want to play on the hardest difficulty the campings of this game has to offer, and that only the best returned to after existing it for the first time.
Because this was the spawn location of George Bloodborne, his last name a referencing one of the (supposedly) hardest games ever.
William never played it so he wouldn't know.
Back to topic, the reason why nobody but the most skilled ever came back was because this forest also housed the hardest boss in any video game that has existed at the time William arrived here. William was actually one of the only ones to have ever beaten it. There's nothing to do here for now, and once you exist you can only find your way back once you reached the end of the camping, to fight this secret boss (that wasn't so secret after it was discovered)
The forest, if you could even call it that, always had a red fog, the trees had no leaves, there wasn't even a single insect on the ground. The vibe was generally very creepy, but William knew better then to panic. Panicking usually only led to things getting worse after all.

Welp, time to leave this place!
After a short time walking , he noticed something.
A couple of corpses were lying on the ground...
Wait...
They're moving.
It seemed like the bodies didn't have any wounds, and weren't burnt or anything else.
That should've been obvious.
How could he forget?
Usually he never stayed around so long for this to trigger.
It's true that nothing alive was in this place...
But those thing warn't alive.
If you stay around too long, the developers placed undead all around the forest that will force the player to leave the forest.
At this point in the game, the player has almost no attacks or good stats, as such fending off the undead wasn't an option unless you were cheating.
As soon as the zombie appeared, William immediately began to sprint away. As the zombies began to chase him, William was looking around, to make sure no other zombies would surprise him.
He couldn't fight even a single on of them right now.
As hordes of zombies rushed to him from all around the forest he ground started to shake and a giant tree fell at the area he was running to.
"Now isn't this fucking great?!" William screamed into the night sky. "Fuck, shit, fuck, fuuuuck!!!!"
William couldn't pull back. He jumped forward, and by some miracle actually survived. The impact of the falling tree pushed him.
As his face hit the dry dirt, he felt immense pain as he rolled forward, away from the tree.
As much as It hurt, William had no time to worry about such things.
William used this opportunity to make a mad dash away as far as vampirely possible.
Once he got to a safe distance, William stood up and observed his surroundings.
He seemed to have gotten out of the forest. That was good.
The bad news was that he had no idea where he was.
Why is that you may ask?
Well, William might or might haven't got out on the wrong side of the forest, and the meadows in front of him he didn't recognize. He was unsure exactly where on the map the bloody forest (that's the "very unique" name of the forest by the way) was, as in both scenes where you spawn in and return to the forest the player is teleported there, although there were many theories, he never took much interest in them.
And thus, William the inescapable shadow, now known as George Bloodborne, with a black hooded cloak and some other clothes, zero characters skills or levels to his name but a ton of experience and knowledge from his countless playthroughs, was outside of the forest, and now he'll be forced to live in this very world he loved so much, through the body of one of the characters instead of through the screen of his computer.
"Well this is bloody great isn't it?..."
