Raegan spent the two weeks of his life the same as usual diligently training his techniques and knowledge of the world, he did not want to be at disadvantage once he started roaming the main lands where people lived and every detail was very important to him.
Raegar on the other hand was more playful than Raegan, he spent most of his time with the kids in the Clan getting to know them and sparring with them, of course none of these kids stood a chance and they viewed him as a complete and utter monster which seems to delight Raegar.
The girls on the other hand were all head over heels for his good looks and charms, although his elder brother Raegan can be considered to be handsome and above average compared to Raegar it was like the heaven and earth. The only resemblance they had been the eyes and nose even the hair colour was different slightly. Raegar had scarlet red hair while Raegan had Crimson red hair which made him look like a fierce demon, it also didn’t help that the air he gave off was intimidating what helped even more less was the fact he did not act like his age at all instead he drowned himself in training or in books.
Raegar loved his brother more than anyone he also felt a sense of security, every time he was in trouble his elder brother would leap to his defence. He enjoyed the feeling of warmth and love he received from Raegan. He always wanted chase after his brother in terms of strength but he could never understand why he was always a step behind him.
This didn’t bother him he felt that his brother being this strong was only reasonable since he studied and worked harder than him, he was also incredibly talented. People in the Clan all knew Raegan bloodline was more pure but they always felt Raegar was born for Martial Arts he could easily grasp it as easy as breathing air, but Raegar himself knew that his talent couldn’t compare with his brother who always came up with new and amazing ways to improve a technique with less effort his elder brother just didn’t like showing off and kept to himself.
Tomorrow would be the day of the baptism Raegar was both excited and a little afraid to disappoint the clan and his parents if he didn’t awaken his bloodline properly and inherit the second element which his clan ruled supreme over. It hadn’t been seen for the last few generation of kids who took the baptism and this was slightly worrying the clan, it was the only element that made them different from the world. It was their pride and honour, their power and strength.
The morning sun rose over Dragons Mountain, the scene of a young boy sitting there meditating while the sun rose as if it was an ancient picture taken from a lost era. This boy did the same thing every morning for the past 5 years and he slowly grown accustomed to it, he liked the feeling and enjoyed the sunrise the best he could. He wore his noble dragon robe which was red and had gold dragon design embroiled on the sides to establish he was of the main family descendant and future Patriarch.
Raegar however was given Red and silver dragon robe which signified he was still of main family descendant but he wouldn’t be the future patriarch unless his brother died which was unlikely and no one would hope he would.
“Raegan, it’s time” a voice suddenly called out.
“Coming father” stood up from his position to follow Raehor.
“Raegar how long are you going to hide over there?” Raehor questioned.
“Haha father how can you always tell where I am hiding?” Raegar was always caught if he tried to hide.
“If I can’t even tell when my son is close by what right do I have to be a father?” Raehor was quite pleased with himself he could always tell the smell of Raegar and Raegan apart.
“Raegar to messing about we can’t be late for the Baptism” Raegan didn’t want to be the last one to arrive.
“Relax brother it’s not like they would start without the two of us” Raegar casually laughed while walking towards them.
“Hoo you’ve grown quite confident haven’t you? Do you really want grandpa to spank you again” Raegan teased his little brother.
Raegar eyes slightly twitched “Would that unreasonable old man really do that in front of the clansmen”
“You really don’t want to find out at least I don’t. I still remember the time he carried us both like some extra luggage.
truly unsightly event” Raegan recalled the abuse he got from Daemon every time he tried to show him some pointers.
“your grandfather just likes to show his love in a an unusual way” Raehor seeing his two sons go through what he did was laughing on the inside.

“Raegar we should ask the abuse that old man what sort of damage he did to father when he was young”
Raehor hearing this was startled and he secretly panicked. He truly didn’t want to lose face in front of his sons.
“Enough of this topic hurry along unless you want to suffer some more under his hands and this time your mother won’t help you” Raehor decided to end the topic as it was getting dangerous.
Inside the main hall was truly large as if it was an imperial palace hall, there were stair cases leading to a five chairs, another stair case of few steps laid a throne chair that was above the five chairs. Clearly that throne chair was for the patriarch and current clan master of house Redding, Daemon Redding.
The hall was filled with numerous kids ranging from age 5 to 10 the Baptism was held every 10 years, the children of the clans body could withstand it from the age of 5 the more purer your bloodline was the longer it would take for you to remain inside the pool of blood. Once you have awakened your blood cells would have awakened allowing you to inherit the strength the bloodline which you carry and whatever abilities that ancestor may have had.
Of course the less pure your bloodline the less potential you would have and for this purpose the Redding clan encouraged marriage between fellow clan members to keep the bloodline pure. In fact Raehor and his wife Aida were distant cousins of few generations apart.
This is also the reason why the Redding clan has always been so monstrously powerful to the point that it was unbelievable one clan could hold so much power without any other clan backing them or any foreign aid from anyone else, they alone stood against any who would dare cross their paths and that path only ever led to one single conclusion that was the path of blood.
The children gazed at the hall full of Red and gold designs and the insignia of a Dragon was all over the wall this was a gold dragon roaring to the heavens it looked both terrifying and awe-inspiring, around the hall stood parents of the kids, some were nervous others were excited, but they all had one thing in common and that was their red hair and the black and white dragon robe which signified their status among the clan.
Red robes with gold dragon were for direct descendant and future heir to the clan itself, following by Red and silver which signified they were also direct descendant but didn’t have right the be clan leader as they weren’t firstborn. Followed by robes of authority which were Black, Gold, Silver, Green, and finally Yellow.
Black robes were for elders with gold dragon design on them, followed by Generals of the clan armies, Silver for commanders, Green for martial arts instructions for the kids, and finally Yellow which represented kids who just finished the baptism and were ready to learn the clan martial arts. Strength signified your position in this family the more powerful you were the more authority you would have.
It was truly rare to see Silver robed commanders present in the baptism ceremony but there was actually a golden robed general present right now as well. All fathers of the children were the only ones permitted to attend the ceremony of the baptism, of course mothers could attend if the father of that child passed away but that was unlikely as there hadn’t been an incident recently.
These young boys and girls waited patiently as more children came in, finally a loud shout was heard from the side.
“Entering, young masters Raegan and Raegar accompanied by future clan master Raehor” The guard announced.
Raegan didn’t like attention much as he wasn’t use to it, but his brother acted naturally brimming with arrogance as he took strides beside his brother. Raegan could only smile and shake his head. He noticed Daemon look down at them from the throne so as to say ‘how dare you almost be late’.
Raegar suddenly had a cold sweat on his back and looked around only to find himself staring at Daemon who was above smiling in an evil way at him.
Raegan and Raegar walked towards where the rest of the children were standing. As he grew closer to destination everyone was still looking at them then suddenly they all slightly bowed in respect towards the two boys, even the parents who attended to see their kids bowed towards them.
They weren’t simply bowing towards the two boys but to Raegan who wore the crimson red robe with golden dragon on it along with Raehor and Daemon, status was very clear in this clan they all knew what was expected of them.
